A depth determining method and a depth determining device of an operating body are provided. The depth determining method includes following steps: deriving a first image and a second image that include the operating body from the at least two image capturing units respectively to calculate a first width of the operating body and a first displacement distance of the operating body between the first image and the second image in a first time point; deriving the first image and the second image that include the operating body from the at least two image capturing units respectively to calculate a second width of the operation body in a second time point; and calculating displacement depth of operating body between the first time point and the second time point by a transform function according to the first displacement distance and a different between the first width and the second width.

An optical touch device includes a foldable frame assembly, two image sensing units and two light emitting units. The foldable frame assembly comprises a first frame, a second frame, a third frame and a fourth frame. The two image sensing units are disposed on opposite ends of the fourth frame respectively. The two light emitting units are disposed on opposite ends of the fourth frame respectively and adjacent to the two image sensing units respectively. The frames of the foldable frame assembly are pivotally connected to each other such that the frames can rotate with respect to each other so as to be folded or expanded.

A foldable frame assembly is adapted for an optical touch device. The foldable frame assembly includes a first frame, a second frame and a third frame. The second frame and the third frame can rotate with respect to the first frame so as to be folded or expanded with respect to the first frame.

A plurality of first sensing results outputted by a first optical sensor which continuously senses a touch area from a first corner of the touch area are obtained. A locating method, a locating device, a depth determining method, and a depth determining device of an operating body are provided. The locating method includes following steps: deriving an image that includes an operating body; scanning the image transversely according to each of scan lines of the image, and deriving each of width values of the operating body in each of the scan lines according to the bright dot information in each of the scan lines of the image; calculating a relative variation level between each of the width values in the adjacent scan line sequentially; when the relative variation level is less than a threshold, determining a locating point of the operating body according to one of the scan lines and one of the width values corresponding to the relative variation level.

An embodiment of the disclosure provides an operation method for an optical touch device. The optical touch device includes a panel, a left-side sensor and a right-side sensor. The operation method includes the steps of: sensing a sensing waveform on the panel; determining the number of peaks of the sensing waveform to control the optical touch device to be switched to a gesture mode or a touch mode; estimating a first variance according to a first sensing waveform sensed by the left-side sensor and a second variance according to a second sensing waveform sensed by the right-side sensor when the optical touch device is operating in the gesture mode; and determining the gesture made by the user according to the first variance and the second variance.

A gesture recognition module for recognizing a gesture of a user is disclosed. The gesture recognition module comprises an image capturing unit, for capturing a first pixel value, a second pixel value, a third pixel value and a fourth pixel value sequentially of images of the gesture of the user; a computing unit, coupled to the image capturing unit, for determining a first minimum surrounding shape comprising a first pixel difference between the first pixel value and the second pixel value, and determining a second minimum surrounding shape comprising a second pixel difference between the third pixel value and the fourth pixel value; and a determining unit, coupled to the computing unit, for determining the gesture according to a relation between the first minimum surrounding shape and the second minimum surrounding shape.

A free space positioning method for estimating an attitude angle of an object in a free space includes: capturing an image of a light source module that includes four light sources to generate a to-be-judged image; analyzing coordinates of the light sources in the to-be-judged image to obtain to-be-judged information; comparing the to-be-judged information with pre-stored light source orientation data to obtain candidate light source orientation data; and estimating an attitude angle of the object according to a pre-stored attitude angle corresponding to each of the candidate light source orientation data.

An optical touching assembly, including a display device, a sensing device, and a touching object, is provided. The display device has a touching area. The sensing device is electrically connected to the display device. The touching object is adapted to enter the touching area, such that the sensing device senses the motion of the touching object to control the display device. The touching object has an optical controlling element that generates light along with the motion of the touching object. The sensing device senses a characteristic variation of the light to trigger at least one operating function of the display device.

An apparatus and a corresponding method for voice processing are provided. The apparatus includes a sound receiver, a camera, and a processor. The sound receiver receives a sound signal. The camera takes a video. The processor is coupled to the sound receiver and the camera. The processor obtains a voice onset time (VOT) of the sound signal, detects a human face in the video, detects a change time of a mouth contour of the human face, and verifies at least one preset condition. When all of the preset conditions are true, the processor performs speech recognition on the sound signal. The at least one preset condition includes that a difference between the VOT and the change time is smaller than a threshold value.

An optical touch system is provided. At least one light source is disposed at a side of a base plane. A first optical sensor and a second optical sensor detect a space in front of the base plane to generate a first signal and a second signal. When two groups of objects approach to or touch the base plane, a processing unit determines at least one first portion of the first signal corresponding to the two groups of the objects and at least one second portion of the second signal corresponding to the two groups of the objects, and converts the at least one first portion and the at least one second portion into a plurality of touch regions, and determines group transformations according to positions corresponding to at least part of touch regions. A touch method and a touch system using the same are disclosed. The touch system comprises a display panel and an image sensing module. The touch method comprises the following steps: detecting and acquiring a coordinate position of a touch object entering a sensing region of the display panel; determining whether the touch object is moving or situated at a fixed point according to the coordinate position; sensing a first reflective luminance generated by the touch object at a point via the image sensing module; sensing a second reflective luminance generated by the touch object at the point via the image sensing module after a time period; comparing the first and the second reflective luminance; if the first reflective luminance is different from the second reflective luminance, then determining that the touch object is performing a fixed point rotation; executing a corresponding instruction according to the fixed point rotation.

A locating method for an optical touch system determines a center position of an indication object on a touch area of the optical touch system by an optical location means. The locating method determines a light-emitting position of a light emitter of the indication object on the touch area by receiving indication light emitted from the light emitter by two optical sensors. The locating method determines a touch position and a touch direction according to a relative relationship between the center position and the light-emitting position; therein, the touch position can be regarded as a touch point on the touch area by the indication object, and the touch direction can be regarded as a rotation angle of the indication object relative to the touch area.

A gesture recognizing and controlling method and device thereof are provided. The gesture recognizing and controlling method includes the following steps. First, a pending image having depth information is captured, in which the pending image includes a human form image. The human form image is analyzed so as to obtain hand skeleton information having a first skeleton and a second skeleton. It is determined whether the first skeleton and the second skeleton have an intersection point. If yes, it is determined whether an included angle formed by the first skeleton and the second skeleton is within a predetermined angle range.
