A device and method of simultaneously removing flammable gases and nitrous oxide are provided. The device includes a thermal oxidation chamber, a high-temperature resistant dust filter, and a catalyst chamber. The thermal oxidation chamber is configured to receive an exhaust gas from a process tool. The exhaust gas includes flammable gases and nitrous oxide. The thermal oxidation chamber has a first exhaust pipe to emit nitrous oxide and dust generated after the exhaust gas is thermally oxidized. The high-temperature resistant dust filter receives dust and nitrous oxide from the first exhaust pipe, wherein the high-temperature resistant dust filter has a filter fiber net and a second exhaust pipe, and the second exhaust pipe is configured to emit nitrous oxide. The catalyst chamber receives nitrous oxide from the second exhaust pipe, wherein the catalyst chamber has a nitrous oxide decomposition catalyst to decompose nitrous oxide into nitrogen and oxygen.

Device and method of simultaneously removing flammable gases and nitrous oxide

An air purifier and a purifying method are provided. The air purifier includes a housing, a sterilization and ozone-generating unit, a physical filter, a first ozone-removing unit, and a cover. The housing has a sidewall and a bottom surface to define a processing space, wherein an upper end of the housing has an air inlet and the sidewall has an air outlet. The sterilization and ozone-generating unit is disposed in the processing space. The physical filter is disposed in the processing space, extends along the sidewall, and surrounds the sterilization and ozone-generating unit. The first ozone-removing unit is disposed between the physical filter and the sidewall. The cover is openably disposed at the air inlet.

Air purifier and air purifying method

A carbonized material, a device for removing ozone, and a method for removing ozone are provided. The carbonized material has at least a carbonyl-containing group, alkylol group, and carbon having sphybrid orbital. In particular, the at least one carbonyl-containing group has a carbon content from 10 atom % to 30 atom %, based on the total carbon atoms of the at least one carbonyl-containing group, the at least one alkylol group, and the at least one carbon having sphybrid orbital.

The invention provides a nanostructure material with metallic oxide including a product fabricated by the following steps: condensing silicon oxide or titanium oxide with a surfactant, obtaining a mesoporous silicon oxide or titanium oxide; mixing the mesoporous silicon oxide or titanium oxide with a metal or metallic compound and subjecting the mixture to a heterogeneous nucleation. According to another embodiment of the invention, the nanostructure material can also be fabricated by the following steps: subjecting silicon oxide or titanium oxide and a carbon black template to a calcination; mixing the results with a metal or metallic compound; and subjecting the mixture to a second calcinations. Further, in the invention, a method for detecting phosphorus-containing compounds employing the aforementioned nanostructure material is also provided.

A wet electrostatic precipitator is disclosed to include a condensation-growth chamber, a precipitation chamber connecting with the condensation-growth chamber, three dual-sleeve members mounted in the precipitation chamber, three discharge electrodes connecting with the dual-sleeve members, two insulating members covering on the inner surface of the precipitation chamber, and two ground electrodes mounted on the outside of the precipitation chamber. Thus, a uniform water film is formed on the surface of the insulating members to wash away the particles from waste gas. The condensation-growth chamber is provided for the particles to grow therein and thereby enhances the collection efficiency. The insulating member acts as a shield between the discharge electrodes and the ground electrodes and thereby avoids a short circuit or sparks.

A method for removing high concentration ozone from a waste gas stream is disclosed, which includes the following steps: (1) providing an apparatus, which includes: a tank having an input port, an exhaust port and a packing, wherein the input port is near the bottom of the tank, the exhaust port is on the top of the tank, and the packing is contained in the tank; a liquid injection element for injecting reductant solution through the packing; and a storage vessel connecting to the liquid injection element; (2) transporting a gas into the tank through the input port for contacting the reductant solution; and (3) the gas exiting the reactor by way of the exhaust port.
