Broad parts are formed on at least one passage including a passage for forming the thinnest layer among passages for respective resin layers of a multilayer sheet at an upstream side of a confluence. In the broad parts, clearances become larger to both ends of the passage along the width thereof.

Polymer polysaccharide is added to a PVA coating liquid so that a density of the polymer polysaccharide is within the range between 0.05% and 0.5% by weight with respect to the PVA coating liquid. Next, a coating liquid layer is formed on a web by coating the web with the PVA coating liquid to which the polymer polysaccharide is added so that a temperature of the PVA coating liquid is within the range between 20&deg; C. and 40&deg; C. at the coating. Then, the coating liquid layer on the web is dried after it is preliminarily dried so that a temperature of the coating liquid layer is maintained at a temperature that is 3&deg; C. lower than the temperature of the PVA coating liquid or lower for three seconds or more.

Method for forming multilayer sheets and extrusion die therefor

An improved method for forming a multilayer sheet or multilayer film and an improved forming die apparatus, include making the thickness of the multilayer sheet or multilayer film uniform along the width. In the forming die apparatus, an elastic choke bar is disposed in a passage of the melted resin along the width of the passage. A plurality of bolt members are arranged to abut against the choke bar. The choke bar is pushed and pulled by each bolt member, and a part of the choke bar corresponding to the bolt member is bent with regard to the passage. Thereby, the clearance along the width of the passage can be adjusted for every bolt member.
