In a thread standing device capable of switching a plurality of spool pins between a stored state and a deployed state and a sewing machine having the thread standing device, an operability is improved during the switching operation. In a thread standing device, a plurality of spool pins can be switched between a stored state and a deployed state, operation portions related to a switching operation of the plurality of spool pins is provided, and the plurality of spool pins are configured to be switched from the stored state to the deployed state when the operation portions are operated.

An embroidery frame driving device includes: a base plate firmly fixed to an X-Y driving unit of the embroidery frame driving device; a fixation arm provided on the base plate; an attachment/detachment cam; a removing link; a coupling link; and an embroidery frame. The embroidery frame is slid against the base plate to rotate the attachment/detachment cam and the fixation arm through pressing of a pressing part of a fixation part to press and fix one end of the fixation arm to a fixation groove of the fixation part in attachment of the embroidery frame. The removing link is operated to rotate the coupling link and the attachment/detachment cam to rotate the fixation arm and release pressing and fixation of the fixation groove of the fixation part by the one end of the fixation arm in detachment of the embroidery frame.

Embroidery frame attachment/detachment device and embroidery sewing machine provided with same

An embroidery frame includes an inner frame formed like a hoop and an outer frame that has a separation section at which the outer frame is separated so as to form a first end portion and a second end portion that oppose each other. The outer frame is configured to nip an embroidery object, in collaboration with the inner frame, from outside the inner frame. The embroidery frame also includes an opening-closing mechanism configured to adjust a clearance of the separation section. In the embroidery frame, the opening-closing mechanism has a connection shaft that connects the first end portion and the second end portion to each other and also has a manipulation member that is rotatably mounted on the connection shaft with a center of rotation being positioned at the first end portion.
