A gasket manufacturing method is provided. The gasket has a base material with a bead and an elastomeric gasket body disposed in a top portion of the bead. The method includes sequentially forming the bead on one part of a plane of the base material and applying a molding material of the gasket body to the top of the bead. When forming the bead on the one part of the plane, a protrusion is formed in each end in the width direction in the top of the bead. The protrusions are utilized as a coating width defining means of the molding material when applying the molding material to the top of the bead.

Gasket manufacturing method

A unit cell that constitutes a fuel cell stack is obtained by sandwiching an electrolyte mem-brane/electrode structure with a cathode-side separator and an anode-side separator. A first resin member is provided along the entire periphery of the cathode-side separator in the outer peripheral portion of the cathode-side separator. Surfaces of the cathode-side separator are provided with sealing parts that cover a part of the first resin member and constitute a first sealing member.

The invention provides a method for manufacturing a substrate-integrated gasket, the method integrating a fiber substrate which is constructed by a pulp fiber having cellulose as a main component and a gasket body which is constructed by a rubber-like elastic body according to a rubber impregnation, wherein a plurality of substrate-integrated gaskets are obtained by executing an injection molding by plural stages of rubber metal molds. Further, the rubber material is filled in plural stages of metal mold cavities by passing the rubber material through the fiber substrate in which a rubber material flow channel in the metal mold is closed at its injection pressure. The invention can reduce a man hour for removing burr and cleaning a metal mold by suppressing generation of rubber burr at the molding time and can reduce an amount of disposal of a molding material, thereby achieving a good manufacturing efficiency.

Method for manufacturing substrate-integrated gasket

A molding method of a liquid elastomer can reduce an amount of disposal of a molding material, and can prevent a metal mold from being enlarged in size on a plane when a plurality of molded articles are simultaneously molded by using the metal mold, thereby achieving a good manufacturing efficiency. The molding method of the liquid elastomer molds a molded article constructed by a liquid elastomer by using a metal mold, the metal mold is a metal mold for an injection molding, a plurality of product cavity spaces are provided side by side in a mold clamping and mold opening direction of the metal mold, and a plurality of molded articles are simultaneously molded by using the metal mold. The metal mold has a sprue, runners and gates which are communicated with a plurality of product cavity spaces. The runners have orthogonal runner portions and parallel runner portions.

Molding method of liquid elastomer

In order to achieve lower costs in a molding apparatus using a mold by reducing mold cleaning steps following releasing of the product from the mold and shortening the molding cycle, the apparatus is equipped with a plurality of fixed molds and movable molds which are heated to the temperature necessary to harden a molding material and come together by means of clamping to form a cavity, and a non-heated cold runner which supplies the molding material from an injection device to the interior of the cavity via a gate opened in the movable mold, the fixed molds and movable molds being movable between an injection stage where the injection device and cold runner () are present and an opening stage near the injection stage.

Molding apparatus

The invention provides a processing method of a seal mounting groove in a metal plate, which can form the seal mounting groove with a small pressing pressure, whereby it is possible to respond to request for easily manufacturing and achieving a low cost, and can achieve a problem caused by a protruding phenomenon of a metal which plastically deforms going with formation of the seal mounting groove.
