There is provided a liquid discharge head, including: a first channel member including individual channel rows and first common channels that correspond to the respective individual channel rows; a second channel member including a second common channel provided in common to the first common channels; and a third channel member including at least parts of connection channels connected to the second common channel. One of the connection channels is connected to an end in a longitudinal direction of the second common channel. The liquid discharge head further comprises a communication opening disposed at any other part of the second common channel except the end in the longitudinal direction, the second common channel communicating with the outside through the communication opening.

Liquid discharge head

A liquid discharging head includes a stacked body in which plates are adhered to each other by an adhesive. The stacked body is provided with: individual channels including nozzles and pressure chambers, respectively, and aligned in a predetermined aligning direction, the pressure chambers being configured to be pressurized to discharge liquid from the nozzles; a supply manifold being communicated with the individual channels and supplying the liquid to the individual channels; a return manifold being communicating with the individual channels and configured to allow the liquid, which flows in the individual channels and which is not discharged from the nozzles, to flow therethrough; and a dummy channel arranged side by side with the individual channels in the aligning direction. The dummy channel is positioned at outside with respect to an outermost individual channel in the aligning direction.

Liquid discharging head

A liquid discharge head includes a flow passage member, a sealing member, and an actuator member. The flow passage member is formed with individual flow passages each including a nozzle and a pressure chamber and the flow passage member has a surface on which the pressure chamber is open. The sealing member is arranged on the surface and seals the pressure chamber. The actuator member has a piezoelectric layer, a driving electrode, and a high electric potential portion. The piezoelectric layer is adhered to a first surface of the sealing member on a side opposite to the flow passage member, via a first adhesive having an insulating property. The driving electrode is arranged on a side opposite to the sealing member with respect to the piezoelectric layer at a position overlapped with the pressure chamber in a first direction orthogonal to the surface.

Liquid discharge head and method for manufacturing the same

There is provided liquid discharging head including individual channels, supply throttles, and return throttles formed in plates. The supply throttles are formed in first plate of the plates and the return throttles are formed in second plate of the plates. Each of the supply throttles has cross section which is rectangle having first and second sides. Each of the return throttles has cross section which is rectangle having first and second sides. The length of the first side of each of the supply throttles and the length of the first side of each of the return throttles are substantially identical. The length of the second side of each of the supply throttles and the length of the second side of each of the return throttles are substantially identical. Aspect ratio of each of the supply throttles and aspect ratio of each of the return throttles are substantially identical.

Liquid discharging head and printing apparatus

There is provided liquid discharging head including; channel member which includes plates stacked in a first direction and adhered to each other via adhesive, and in which individual channels each including nozzle and pressure chamber communicated with the nozzle is formed. The plates include first plate and second plate adhered to adhesion surface of the first plate via the adhesive. Hollows each construct one of the individual channels are opened in the adhesion surface. The hollows are arranged side by side in second direction orthogonal to the first direction in the adhesion surface, and three or more grooves are formed in the adhesion surface between two of the hollows adjacent to each other in the second direction, each of the three or more grooves extending in third direction which is orthogonal to the first direction and which crosses the second direction.

Liquid discharging head, method of producing the same and printing apparatus

There is provided a liquid discharge head comprising a channel-forming body. The channel-forming body includes a nozzle surface in which a plurality of nozzles arranged in a line open. The channel-forming body has formed therein a supply manifold, a return manifold, and a plurality of individual channels. Each individual channel includes a pressure chamber, a descender, a return throttling path, and an interposing channel that interposes between the return throttling path and the descender and communicates with the nozzle. The return throttling path extends in a second direction differing from a first direction in which the interposing channel extends. A cross-sectional area of the return throttling path is smaller than a cross-sectional area of the interposing channel.

A liquid discharge head includes: nozzles aligned on a nozzle surface; a supply manifold configured that a liquid is supplied therein from the outside of the liquid discharge head; a return manifold which is arranged between the nozzle surface and the supply manifold in a first direction, which is configured that the liquid is flown out therefrom to the outside of the liquid discharge head, and which is provided with a return damper part; and individual flow channels each of which corresponds to one of the nozzles. Each of the individual flow channels has a return throttle channel communicating the corresponding nozzle with the return manifold and being arranged between the return manifold and the nozzle surface in the first direction. The return manifold has a compliance larger than a compliance of the supply manifold.

There is provided a liquid discharging head including: a pressure chamber configured to apply a pressure to a liquid so as to discharge the liquid from a nozzle; a descender arranged to overlap, in a plan view, with the nozzle and communicating the pressure chamber and the nozzle with each other; at least one return throttle channel connected to the descender; and a return manifold which communicates with the at least one return throttle channel and which is configured to receive the liquid not having been discharged from the nozzle. A cross section of the descender orthogonal to a depth direction of the descender is a non-circular shape having a major axis and a minor axis. The at least one return throttle channel is connected to at least one of a first end side of the minor axis and a second end side of the minor axis.

A recording apparatus includes a liquid ejection head having nozzles, a controller, and a signal input part through which a user inputs, to the controller, a setting signal indicating settings related to a grade of a barcode or two-dimensional code. The controller drives the liquid ejection head based on the setting signal input through the signal input part to cause the nozzles to eject liquid to record a barcode or two-dimensional code on a recording medium in the grade corresponding to the setting signal.

Recording apparatus

A liquid discharging head includes: individual channels; a first common liquid chamber provided commonly for the individual channels; and a second common liquid chamber provided commonly for the individual channels. Liquid is supplied from the first common liquid chamber to the individual channels and the liquid flows into the second common liquid chamber from the individual channels. Each of the individual channels has: a pressure chamber; a first channel; a nozzle connected to the first channel and configured to discharge the liquid; a second channel separated from the nozzle in a first direction and connecting the pressure chamber and the first channel; and a third channel connected to the first channel on a side opposite to the second channel in the first direction with the nozzle sandwiched between the third channel and the second channel.

A liquid discharge head is provided, the liquid discharge head comprising a plurality of individual channels, a first manifold connected to the plurality of individual channels, a second manifold connected to the plurality of individual channels, and a bypass channel connecting the first manifold and the second manifold and being distinct from the individual channels. A flow channel resistance Rct brought about by the plurality of individual channels, a flow channel resistance Rbp of the bypass channel, a bending loss &#x394;P provided when the liquid flows from the first manifold via the bypass channel to the second manifold, and a flow rate Q of the liquid flowing through the bypass channel fulfill a relationship of:0.5&#x3c;[/(+(&#x394;))]&#x3c;2.0.

There is provided a liquid discharge head, including: a nozzle member formed having nozzle rows extending in a first direction, the nozzle rows being arranged in a second direction; driving elements; a first channel member disposed at one side of the nozzle member in a third direction; a second channel member disposed at the one side of the first channel member in the third direction; and a third channel member disposed at the one side of the second channel member in the third direction.

There is provided a liquid discharge head including: a plurality of first individual channels; a first supply manifold; a first return manifold; a plurality of second individual channels; a second supply manifold; a second return manifold; and a first bypass channel communicating the first supply manifold and the second return manifold. The first bypass channel includes: a first supply connecting channel, a first return connecting channel, and a first connecting channel. Channel resistance in one of the first supply connecting channel and the first return connecting channel is greater than channel resistance in the first connecting channel.

There is provided a liquid discharging head including: a plurality of supply manifolds configured to receive a liquid to be discharged from a plurality of nozzles and provided side by side with each other; a supply integration channel arranged on a first side in a longitudinal direction of the supply manifolds; a first connecting channel connecting the supply integration channel and a first supply manifold of the supply manifolds; and a second connecting channel connecting the supply integration channel and a second supply manifold, of the supply manifolds, being adjacent to the first supply manifold in a short direction of the first supply manifold. An outlet of the first connecting channel is arranged on the first side in the longitudinal direction of the supply manifolds; and an outlet of the second connecting channel is arranged on a second side in the longitudinal direction of the supply manifolds.

A liquid discharging head is provided with: individual channels; a first common channel; and a second common channel. The individual channels include: first individual channels which have first pressure chambers and which are aligned in a second direction to form a first individual channel array, and second individual channels which have second pressure chambers and which are aligned in the second direction to form a second individual channel array; the first individual channel array and the second individual channel array are arranged in a third direction. The first common channel communicates with both of the first individual channels and the second individual channels; and the first pressure chambers and the second pressure chambers do not overlap with the second common channel in a first direction, and do not overlap with each other in the second direction.
