A plurality of honeycomb pipes bundling a plurality of fine tubes are inserted and fixed at desired positions in a refrigerant piping at proper intervals to form a silencer, and noise is reduced by straightening and homogenizing the disturbance of refrigerant and attenuating transmission of pressure pulsations.

The space in a closed container is divided into two parts by a partition wall member, gas jetting holes through which a high pressure gas released from a compression mechanism section is passed are formed in the partition wall member and a gas collision plate is disposed in opposed relation to the gas jetting holes, and therefore, there is provided a compressor of high achievement factor which is capable of preventing the discharge of oil from the compressor to a refrigerating cycle from being increased even if operated at high rotational frequency.

A blower includes a plurality of rotatable impeller vanes operable to impel air. The impeller vanes create an air pressure differential thereacross when rotated, and each of the impeller vanes has a porous central portion made of sintered resin material. The porous central portion has a plurality of pores therein which permit a portion of air to pass through the porous central portion from a relatively high air pressure side to a relatively low air pressure side of the impeller vanes. Each of the impeller vanes also has a non-porous portion surrounding the porous central portion. The non-porous portion is made of a solid resin material which prevents air from passing therethrough.

An airfoil blade for a fan impeller, includes one blade surface portion formed by extrusion molding. A plurality of ribs are integrally formed with the one blade surface portion to extend upwardlyf rom it in generally a vertical direction and having heights as will provide a curve line for the other curved blade surface portion when end faces of the ribs are connected to each other. A sheet material is applied onto the ribs along their end faces to provide the other curved blade surface portion so as to form a blade configuration of the airfoil blade having a leading edge and a trailing edge and including hollow portions in it.

Airfoil blade for impeller fan and manufacturing method thereof

A heat exchanger has groups of cutouts provided on tabular fin surfaces, projecting in the direction of arrangement of the fins. Each of the cutouts has two opposed openings in the main direction of air flow as well as two leg portions that not parallel with the main direction of air flow, the cutouts being formed on the tabular fin surfaces alternately on the front and rear sides with a fin base portion placed therebetween. The heat exchanger substantially reduces heat resistance between the air and the fin surfaces and ventilation resistance when the humidity is high, and excels in noise characteristics since the configuration of each cutout provided on the fin surface on the air inlet side of a cross flow fan is changed.

An automobile air conditioner which has a generally elongated casing having air intake and outlet grilles defined at opposite sides thereof, a generally elongated evaporator accommodated within the casing so as to extend generally parallel to the direction of elongation of the casing and positioned adjacent the air intake grille, at least one cross-flow fan accommodated within the casing so as to extend generally parallel to the direction of elongation of the casing and positioned between the evaporator and the air outlet grille, and a drive unit for driving the cross-flow fan in one direction for blowing air from the inlet grille to the air outlet grille. The evaporator is supported in position within the casing in a tilted fashion with its upper edge towards the cross-flow fan.

Each impeller sections includes a pair of plate members and a number of blades extending between and circumferentially of the plate members such that the blades are circumferentially spaced at random pitch angles without periodicity.
