A load applicator includes an elastic mechanism including elastic bodies, a first member configured to move in accordance with contraction of power storage cells, a second member provided opposite to the first member across the elastic mechanism, a switching device, and a restriction member. The elastic mechanism has a first form wherein a first restraint load is applied to a power storage module when the power storage module expands by a first dimension, and a second form wherein a second restraint load larger than the first restraint load is applied to the power storage module when the power storage module expands by the first dimension. The switching device performs an operation switching from the first form to the second form in a case where a restraint load smaller than the first restraint load is applied to the power storage module when the power storage module expands by the first dimension.

Load applicator and power storage apparatus

A load applicator includes an elastic mechanism, a first member configured to move in accordance with contraction of power storage cells, a second member provided on a side opposite to the first member across the elastic mechanism, and a switching device. The elastic mechanism has a first form in which a first restraint load is applied to the power storage module when the power storage module expands by a first dimension, and a second form in which a second restraint load larger than the first restraint load is applied to the power storage module when the power storage module expands by the first dimension. The switching device performs an operation to switch from the first form to the second form in a case where a restraint load smaller than the first restraint load is applied to the power storage module when the power storage module expands by the first dimension.

A secondary battery includes an electrode, a positive electrode current collector, a negative electrode current collector, a positive electrode terminal, a negative electrode terminal, and an insulating plate. The positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal each have a main side surface and a sub side surface having an area smaller than that of the main side surface. The positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal are arranged so that the main side surface of the positive electrode terminal and the main side surface of the negative electrode terminal face each other. The insulating plate is arranged between the main side surface of the positive electrode terminal and the main side surface of the negative electrode terminal.

Secondary battery

A pressing member is configured to press a portion-to-be-pressed of a continuous-fiber sheet against a recessed surface of a first mold in a state where the continuous-fiber sheet is placed between the first mold and a second mold. A pulling member is configured to bring the continuous-fiber sheet into close contact with the main surface and the recessed surface by pulling a portion of the continuous-fiber sheet located on an outer peripheral side of the portion-to-be-pressed after the pressing member presses the portion-to-be-pressed against the recessed surface.

Molding device and molded article manufacturing method

Strength of a resin case is improved. A continuous fiber sheet includes a bottom surface portion which forms a bottom surface of the resin case, an erected wall portion which is erected from the bottom surface portion and forms a peripheral wall of the resin case, and a stepped portion in which the continuous fiber sheet connecting the bottom surface portion and the erected wall portion to each other is bent like steps along the peripheral wall. A resin member includes a rib portion which is bonded to the stepped portion and extends from the stepped portion toward an outer edge of the resin case.

Resin case

A core-shell catalyst with high platinum mass activity for a short period of time. The method for producing a core-shell catalyst may comprise a core containing palladium and a shell containing platinum and coating the core, the method comprising: a step of preparing a copper-coated palladium-containing particle dispersion in which copper-coated palladium-containing particles are dispersed, the particles being palladium-containing particles coated with copper; a step of preparing a platinum ion-containing solution; a step of preparing a microreactor; and a substitution step of forming the shell by substituting the copper on the copper-coated palladium-containing particle surface with platinum by mixing the copper-coated palladium-containing particle dispersion and the platinum ion-containing solution in the microreactor.

Method for producing core-shell catalyst

A copper-coated palladium-containing particle dispersion in which copper-coated palladium-containing particles, which are obtained by coating surfaces of palladium-containing particles with copper, are dispersed is prepared, a platinum ion-containing solution is prepared, and a shell is formed by mixing the copper-coated palladium-containing particle dispersion and the platinum ion-containing solution with each other in a microreactor to displace copper of the copper-coated palladium-containing particle surfaces with platinum. The microreactor includes at least a first supply flow path, a second supply flow path, a joint portion in which the first supply flow path and the second supply flow path are joined to each other, and a discharge flow path. An orifice portion is provided midway in the discharge flow path. A pressure applied to the orifice portion in the displacement step is 2 MPa or higher.
