An image forming apparatus includes a rotatable photosensitive member, a charging unit, a developing unit, a support frame, and a sensor unit. The sensor unit is detachably attached to the support frame in a direction that intersects a rotation-axis direction of the photosensitive member and includes a potential sensor, a support portion, a fixing portion, an electric board, and a linking portion. The support portion supports the potential sensor at an area from the charging unit to the developing unit in a rotational direction of the photosensitive member. The fixing portion is fixed to the support frame at a position that faces an area from the developing unit to the charging unit in the rotational direction of the photosensitive member. The support portion is positioned with respect to the support frame at a position downstream of the support portion in an attachment direction of the sensor unit.

Image forming apparatus

A drum cartridge includes a blade, a sheet metal member, a support member, and a fastening member. One of the sheet metal member and the support member includes a first center hole which is formed at a center portion, and a fastening member receiving portion formed at a first end side and configured to fasten the fastening member. The other of the sheet metal member and the support member includes a second center hole which is formed at the center portion, and a through hole which is formed at the first end side and through which the fastening member is passed. The first center hole and the second center hole are arranged such that centers thereof are overlapped. The through hole is configured to be larger than the fastening member receiving portion in a swinging direction with the first and second center holes serving as the center of swing.

A cleaning unit includes a case, a blade, a swing member, a first coil spring, a second coil spring, and a plurality of first engaging portions. The first coil spring is provided on a first end side of the blade in the longitudinal direction and configured to pull the swing member. The second coil spring is provided on a second end side of the blade in the longitudinal direction and configured to pull the swing member. The plurality of first engaging portions are provided on one of the case or the swing member at the first end side of the blade and configured to selectively engage a one end side of the first coil spring at different positions with respect to the longitudinal direction of the blade so that a contact pressure of the blade against the image bearing member caused by the first coil spring is changed.

An image forming apparatus includes a rotatable photosensitive member, an image forming portion, and a light irradiating portion configured to irradiate the photosensitive member with light after transferring the toner image onto the transfer material. The light irradiating portion includes a first light guide body configured to extend along a rotation axial direction of the photosensitive member, a light source portion provided to face an end surface portion of the first light guide body in the rotation axial direction, a reflecting portion disposed to face the first light guide body in an intersecting direction intersecting with the rotation axial direction, and a second light guide body comprising a facing portion disposed to face the first light guide body and to oppose the reflecting portion through the first light guide body, and configured to irradiate the photosensitive member with the light transmitted through the first light guide body.

An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit having a rotatable image bearing member, a first support side plate, and a second support side plate; a development device; a transfer device; a rotatable stay; an operation portion; and a toner containing portion. The rotatable stay is disposed at a position downstream of the development device and upstream of the transfer device with respect to a rotation direction of the image bearing member to face the image bearing member and to connect the first support side plate and the second support side plate. The operation portion is provided at an end portion of the stay to rotate the stay. The toner containing portion contains the toner accumulated on the stay.

An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit configured to form a toner image on a sheet, a fixing unit configured to fix the toner image on the sheet, a double-sided conveyance path along which the sheet is conveyed for double-sided printing, and a control unit configured to control conveyance of the sheet, allowing the sheet to be stopped at a first standby position which is more downstream than the fixing unit in a sheet conveyance direction on the double-sided conveyance path and a second standby position which is more downstream than the first standby position, and changing stopping time for which the sheet is stopped at the first standby position and stopping time for which the sheet is stopped at the second standby position according to a material of the sheet.

An image forming apparatus comprising: an image bearing member which bears a toner image; a first driving portion which drives the image bearing member; a transfer portion which nips a sheet with the image bearing member and transfers the toner image to the sheet from the image bearing member; a sheet conveying portion which conveys the sheet with the toner image transferred by the transfer portion; a second driving portion which drives the sheet conveying portion; a sheet detector which detects the sheet between the transfer portion and the sheet conveying portion; and a controller which controls the second driving portion to drive the sheet conveying portion to convey the sheet after the first driving portion is stopped, so that the sheet detector can detect the sheet nipped between the image bearing member and the transfer portion.
