Provided is an electrical component mounting structure for saddled vehicle capable of concentrating a plurality of electrical components close to the center of the vehicle body while protecting the electrical components. An electrical component mounting structure places the control device to control the vehicle at a position surrounded with a vehicle body frame supporting a power unit of the saddled vehicle, a rear wheel that rotates by a driving force from the power unit, a seat for a rider. The electrical component mounting structure includes the case member including a lower case storing a drive unit, and an upper case covering the lower case from the above. The case member has a sensor storage part storing a sensor at a front end. The control device is attached to the upper case.

A notification device in a vehicle enables a person outside the vehicle to be notified of a predetermined operating state of the vehicle by the light emission, and includes: a plurality of spot-shaped light sources arranged at intervals to follow an upper edge of a windshield; a reflecting part reflecting light from the light sources to a front; an outer lens transmitting therethrough the light heading toward the front from the reflecting part; and a housing. The outer lens has on at least one of front and rear faces thereof a fine concave-convex face diffusing the light transmitted through the outer lens. Accordingly, the device is visible through an upper part of the windshield from a person outside the vehicle so that visibility is very good, and the light from the relatively small spot-shaped light source can be sufficiently diffused so that visibility can be further enhanced.

A seat frame for a motorcycle includes a plurality of aluminum parts manufactured with different manufacturing methods. A seat frame includes front members, middle members, and a rear member, the front members, the middle members, and the rear member being formed of aluminum. The rear member is formed by integral molding based on a gravity casting method. The rear member includes a pair of left and right rail portions, a front cross portion, a rear cross portion, and a plurality of attachment bosses for attaching other parts. The left and right rail portions each have an attachment portion to be connected to a rear end portion of corresponding one of the middle members provided on an end portion thereof on the front side in the vehicle longitudinal direction.

An arrangement structure of electrical components can efficiently place a plurality of harnesses while a plurality of electrical components are disposed near a vehicle-mounted battery. The arrangement structure is applied to a saddled vehicle having an electrical component box that is disposed between main frames and an engine and houses at least an approximately rectangular shape battery. The electrical component box includes: a battery tray that covers at least a body front surface and a body upper surface of the battery; a lower half that houses the battery and the battery tray; and an upper half that covers the lower half from above. A first electrical component and a first harness group are arranged in housing spaces formed between the battery tray and the electrical component box. A second electrical component and a second harness group are arranged on the upper side of the upper half.

A member-fastening structure permits three members to be fastened and fixed such that a first member and a second member holds a third member therebetween. The fastening of three members is accomplished with a meter visor that has a first through-hole formed therein. A speaker ring has a projecting part formed thereon which is inserted into the first through-hole. The projecting part has a second through-hole formed therein in a direction perpendicular to a projecting direction of the projecting part. A speaker grille is positioned on the meter visor, and the projecting part of the speaker ring is then caused to project downward through the first through-hole of the meter visor. A clip is inserted into the second through-hole of the projecting part projecting from an underside of the meter visor, and is engaged with the second through-hole of the projecting part and the underside of the meter visor.

Member-fastening structure

A windshield of a saddle-riding vehicle is adjustably vertically movable on a windshield support structure, which also suppress windshield rattling. An operating lever is connected to one of two windshield support members. A coupling member extends in a vehicle width direction, and includes end portions connected to left and right fixed rail brackets, which have guide slots formed therein and are pivotally movable about a first rotation axis. The coupling member is also connected to the windshield support members so as to be pivotally movable about a second rotation axis disposed forward of the first rotation axis. The windshield support members and the coupling member constitute parts of a link mechanism. A guide projecting portion is provided on at least one of the windshield support members, and this guide projecting portion is slidably fitted into the guide slot.

Positionally adjustable windshield mounting assembly for a saddle-riding vehicle, and vehicle including same

A saddle-type vehicle includes a canister mounting structure. The vehicle includes a vehicle body frame, an engine fastened to the vehicle body frame, an exhaust pipe connected to the engine, a fuel tank mounted on the vehicle body frame, a canister for storing gasoline vapors form the fuel tank and a purge control valve for controlling purge of the canister. The canister mounting structure includes a canister holder having a first mounting portion for mounting the canister, and a second mounting portion for mounting the purge control valve therein. The canister holder is disposed adjacent the exhaust pipe. The canister holder is formed so as to cover sides of the canister and a side of the canister adjacent the exhaust pipe. Such configuration of the canister mounting structure provides heat-shielding measures for the canister, and achieves a desired ease of assembly.

An air cleaner for a V-type internal combustion engine includes a filter housing with introduction ports formed in both left and right lateral walls communicating with respective air intake ducts and a pair of cleaner elements fixedly disposed in the filter housing to partition the inside thereof into an upper unfiltered air chamber communicating with both the introduction ports and a filtered air chamber disposed below the unfiltered air chamber. The cleaner elements are disposed on both sides of a vertical plane passing through a vehicle body centerline, extend forward and rearward of the air introduction ports, and are inclined to be gradually lowered as they extend away from the vertical plane to face the respective air introduction ports.

A radiator mounting structure for motorcycle, in which a radiator is disposed forward of a water-cooled engine mounted on a body frame and an upper portion of the radiator is attached to the body frame, in which running-air that passes the radiator is not directed to a rider. The radiator is reliably supported so as not to be affected by heat from the engine with an increase in the number of parts avoided. A shroud for covering the radiator from behind is attached the radiator and has at an upper portion thereof attachment arm portions attached to a body frame. Attachment portions fastened to stays provided on the body frame are provided at a rear lower portion of the shroud.

Radiator mounting structure for motorcycle

To enable the close arrangement of right and left cooling fans that are common to each other and rotate in the same direction. A radiator is disposed forward of an engine, is horizontally lengthwise and is formed such that the center thereof bends to protrude rearward. A pair of right and left cooling fans is provided on the rear surface of the radiator. The left and right cooling fans have the same specifications, rotating in the same direction. A support plate is provided to surround the cooling fans, that is, to close left and right sides of, the upper side of and the rear of the cooling fans and open the lower side thereof. A partition portion is formed to project from the center of a rear wall to partition between the left and right cooling fans. Thus, the adjacent cooling fans can be prevented from interfering with each other and can be arranged close to each other.
