A front bumper includes a bumper body, a bumper inner, and a first electronic device. The bumper body is exposed to the outside of the vehicle. The bumper inner is located inside the bumper body and configured to fix the bumper body to a body of the vehicle. The first electronic device is located between the bumper body and the bumper inner. The bumper inner includes an inner body facing at least a part of the first electronic device in a first direction, and at least one columnar portion located adjacent to first the electronic device in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and extending in the first direction from the inner body toward the bumper body. The length in the first direction of the at least one columnar portion is greater than the length in the first direction of the first electronic device.

Front bumper

A front bumper includes a bumper body and a bumper inner. The bumper body is exposed to the outside of a vehicle. The bumper inner is located inside the bumper body. The bumper inner includes an inner body that extends in a lateral direction of the vehicle along an inner surface of the bumper body, and at least one bumper stay that extends from the inner body toward a body of the vehicle and that is fixed to the body. The bumper stay includes a base plate that is joined to the body, and a reinforcing wall that extends in a vertical direction from a peripheral edge of the base plate. The inner body includes a cut along either or both of upper and lower edges of the inner body that extend in the lateral direction, the cut extending in a range including a position closest to the bumper stay.

In order to absorb collision energy so as to prevent an increase in reaction force against a pedestrian to a level higher than or equal to a certain level during collision, a bumper absorber of the present invention includes: a trunk part that extends in an X direction and that is simply compressed in the X direction in response to an impact; and a branch part that branches off from the trunk part toward a rear of a vehicle body, the branch part having a branching part in which the branch part branches off from the trunk part and which is provided with a breakage inducing part that causes breakage between the trunk part and the branch part in response to the impact.

Bumper absorber

A vehicle may include: an external fender covering a front fender panel; a bumper; and a retainer fixing the external fender and the bumper to the front fender panel, in which the external fender includes an external fender end, the bumper includes a bumper end, and the external fender end and the bumper end are disposed in vicinity to and face each other, the retainer is disposed near a boundary between the external fender end and the bumper end, the retainer is covered by the external fender and the bumper, the external fender end includes an external fender flange protruding inward of the vehicle, the bumper end includes a bumper flange protruding inward of the vehicle, the retainer includes a groove extending along the boundary between the external fender end and the bumper end, and the external fender flange and the bumper flange are inserted in the groove.
