A label wrapping device configured to warp a label around a cable includes: a conveying roller, a straightening member and an insertion recess. The conveying roller conveys the label in a conveying direction along a conveying path. The straightening member is positioned downstream of the conveying roller in the conveying direction. The straightening member includes a first member and a second member opposing each other across the conveying path in a prescribed direction intersecting the conveying path. A part of the first member and a part of the second member overlap each other in a width direction orthogonal to the conveying direction and crossing the prescribed direction. The insertion recess is positioned downstream of the straightening member in the conveying direction and on the same side as the second member in the prescribed direction with respect to the conveying path. The insertion recess is open toward the conveying path.

A printing cassette that is attached to a printer main body, the printer main body including a print head, a platen roller facing the print head, and a drive source configured to cause the platen roller to rotate, the printing cassette comprising: a first tape on which printing is performed by the print head; an input unit that is rotatable around a rotation axis thereof and is transmitted a driving force from the drive source; and an output unit that is rotatable around a rotation axis thereof and is configured to transmit to the platen roller the driving force that is transmitted to the input unit, wherein the first tape is conveyed by the platen roller in a state where the printing cassette is attached to the printer main body.

A cassette is detachably attachable to a printing device in a first direction, the printing device including a print head, a platen roller, a motor for generating a driving force to rotate the platen roller, and a power transmission portion for transmitting the driving force to the platen roller. The cassette includes a printing tape, a casing accommodating the printing tape, and a pressure portion. Upon attachment of the cassette to a cassette receiving portion of the printing device, the pressure portion is configured to move a specific gear of the power transmission portion in the first direction to allow the power transmission portion to mechanically switch a ratio of a rotation number of the platen roller to a rotation number of the motor in accordance with a position of the specific gear in the first direction.

An image recording device is provided, having a recording unit configured to record an image on a sheet, and a tray disposed below the recording unit. The tray includes a sheet holding surface configured to hold the sheet. Additionally, the image recording device includes a sheet feeder disposed between the recording unit and the tray. The sheet feeder includes a roller for feeding the sheet from the tray. The roller is configured to move between a first roller position in which the roller contacts the sheet holding surface of the tray and a second roller position in which the roller is separated from the sheet holding surface. A return guide, disposed between the recording unit and the sheet feeder, defines a second conveying path to guide the sheet having an image recorded on one side thereof back to the feed guide. The return guide has a first opening configured to accommodate the roller of the sheet feeder when the roller is in the second roller position.

The power transmission portion includes a plurality of gears including a first gear movable from a first position to a second position downstream of the first position in the first direction. The power transmission portion is configured to switch a ratio of a rotation number of the platen roller to a rotation number of the motor depending on whether the first gear is at the first position or at the second position to transmit the driving force to the platen roller.

The nipping member includes: a first region configured to face one end portion of the tape; a second region configured to face another end portion of the tape; and a third region positioned between the first region and the second region. The first region and an imaginary reference surface provide a first length in a third direction. The second region and the imaginary reference surface provide a second length in the third direction. The third region and the imaginary reference surface provide a third length in the third direction. The third length is greater than the first length and the second length.

A tape cassette used for a printer includes a thermal head and a cassette holder to which the tape cassette is attachable. The tape cassette includes a tape roll, a casing, a regulation guide and a pressure member. The tape roll is formed by winding a tape. The tape has a width defining a widthwise direction. The casing accommodates therein the tape roll. A tape conveying passage is defined in the casing. The regulation guide is positioned at the tape conveying passage to restrict displacement of the tape in the widthwise direction. The pressure member is positioned upstream of the regulation guide in a conveying direction of the tape and along the tape conveying passage. The pressure member is in contact with the tape in a contacting direction to apply pressing force to the tape in the contacting direction.

A cassette tape includes: a cassette case; a first tape roll and a second tape roll accommodated in the cassette case and rotatably supported thereby; and an RFID tag disposed at one of an upper wall and a lower wall of the cassette case. A cutting device includes: a cutter blade configured to perform one of a half-cutting operation and a full-cutting operation with respect to a cut target; a cutter holder holding the cutter blade; a cutter cradle movable between a half-cutting position and a full-cutting position; and a cutter lever and a cutter cradle lever those operated by a user. When only the cutter lever is operated by the user, the cutter blade is moved so that the cutter blade and the cutter cradle at the half-cutting position perform the half-cutting operation with respect to the cut target. When both the cutter lever and the cutter cradle lever are operated by the user, the cutter cradle is moved to the full-cutting position and the cutter blade is moved so that the cutter blade and the cutter cradle at the full-cutting position perform the full-cutting operation with respect to the cut target.

A printing device includes a printing mechanism, a first member, a second member and a RFID. The printing mechanism is configured to perform printing. The first member has a portion constituting a receiving portion. The receiving portion configured to receive therein a holder. The second member is movable relative to the first member. The RFID reader is provided at the second member and is configured to read data stored in the RFID.

The movable cover is movable between a closed position and an open position for covering and exposing the cassette receiving portion in the second direction.
