The present invention relates to a storage agent for preservation of an animal cell, animal tissue or organ and a method of preserving an animal cell, animal tissue, animal blood or an organ. The storage agent has polyphenol as an effective ingredient. The storage agent stabilizes protein or is added to blood, corpuscles or platelets. Also, the storage agent prevents or treats an organ injury caused by a transplant operation.

The present invention proposes formative agent of protein complex, in which a polyphenol is useful component, and the agent is useful as gene complex, cell adhesion inhibitor or immune tolerogen. A biodegradable polymer composition having good resistance to thermal decomposition, wherein it is possible to control the weight-average molecular weight to within 30% of the initial molecular weight after molding and radiation sterilization, by adding a free radical scavenger to the biodegradable polymer. Present invention provides medical material sterilized by radioisotope, comprising polymer composite using in living body, containing multifunctional triazine compounds at weight ratio range of 0.01 to 20 weight percent to the polymer. The present invention shows the fabrication of polymer composite having good heat and radiation resistance, by preventing heat molding record and irradiation on sterilized processes from deteriorating molecular weight caused on heat and radiation decomposition of the polymer. It is possible that the polymer composite is applied for the medical field of decomposable and bio-absorbable polymers and even bio-nonabsorbent polymers such as suture of operation or bonding agent for broken bone as a result. Furthermore, it is possible that the polymer composite is applied for not only medical material but also food wrapping material of industrial use.

The present invention provides a tough denture and a method for producing the denture, which includes solid PMMA as a main component, being added to polar elastomer selected from a group of polyacrylate rubber copolymer, methylmethacrylate-alkylacrylate-styrene terpolymer, and fluororubber, and is fabricated in a process of being mixed and injected into a denture mold. A PMMA denture of present invention shows improved safety to living organisms and increased productivity of molding because of excellent mechanical properties and remarkable elution volume decrease after polymerization in comparison with ordinary type dentures of heat-polymerized PMMA. Furthermore, it is possible to widely apply the denture clinically because of good adaptability in oral applications with economical advantages.

A periodontium-regenerating material for the regenerative treatment of the periodontium consists of bio-degradable/absorable copolymers of lactide/.epsilon.-caprolactone or lactide/glycolide having a weight-average molecular weight of 40,000 to 500,000 as well as a dynamic modulus of 5.times.10.sup.7 to 5.times.10.sup.9 dynes/cm.sup.2 and a elongation rate of 100 to 2,000 %, both measured at room temperature (25.degree.
