A tool for removing the insulation covering of a coaxial cable. The tool has first and second through holes. The portion having the first through hole will support a cutter member able to adjust the cutting in length of the blade into the outer insulation covering. A scraper member is arranged to scrape-up and cut-off scraps and peel off the insulation covering when the tool is rotated relative to the coaxial cable; the cutter blade cuts in the outer insulation covering in a spiral manner. A certain length of the covering can be removed without doing any damage to an aluminum outer conductor.

Tool for removing coverings of a coaxial cable

A coolant preservation container having vacuum space in a peripheral portion of the interior thereof for making a container member adiabatic and a partition for dividing the container member into a plurality of chamber. Each chamber has ports from and via which a coolant is taken out from and returned to the chamber. These ports are suited to circulate a coolant contained in the chamber on external cooling trap.

Coolant preservation container

A quadrupole mass spectrometer generates a stream of ionized particles which are modulated by an AC voltage and transmitted through a quadrupole analyzer to a detection unit. The detection unit detects at a collector electrode thereof a modulated ion current which is fed to a phase detector. The phase detector synchronizes the modulated ion current with a signal of known frequency to produce a DC voltage representative of the level of the modulated ion current. By modulating the ionized particles with the AC voltage, the S/N ratio is improved and adverse effects of external noise are diminished.

AC-modulation quadrupole mass spectrometer

An electronic watch having a time counter circuit for developing a count representative of present time, a second time counter circuit for developing a count representative of time, and a chronograph counter circuit for developing a count representative of elapsed time. A predetermined time is stored in a memory circuit and the contents of the second time counter and the memory circuit are compared by a coincidence detecting circuit. When coincidence occurs a sound generating circuit is enabled for developing sound pulses to represent coincidence. A display visually displays time, and a display switching circuit switches between the present time counter, the memory circuit and the chronograph counter for applying the contents of a selected one thereof in order to visually display present time, the predetermined time and a time interval determined by the chronograph counter. A control circuit is effective for controlling the display switching circuit and operating the watch in different modes. The watch further includes an encoder for developing signals encoded in Morse code, and a sound signal generator for developing audio signals encoded in Morse code. A second switching circuit receives the output of the display switching circuit and, in response to control signals, applies the display switching circuit output to the encoder.

Electronic watch

An alarm electronic timepiece comprises an oscillating circuit for generating a high frequency reference signal which is frequency divided by a frequency dividing circuit into a lower frequency time signal. A display device displays information indicative of the present time in accordance with the time signal. An alarm counter is preset with the desired alarm time and a coincidence detecting circuit detects coincidence between the present time and the preset alarm time and accordingly provides an output signal which is fed to a buzzer for generating an alarm sound. Circuitry is provided for sounding the alarm in advance of the preset alarm time and at a low sound volume which gradually increases with the passage of time, such circuitry including a subtraction circuit connected between the alarm counter and the coincidence detecting circuit, a ring counter connected to receive the output signal from the coincidence detecting circuit, and a modulation circuit connected to the ring counter for modulating the signal applied to the buzzer.

Alarm electronic timepiece

An alarm electronic timepiece comprising a timepiece circuit, a display for displaying time, an alarm for generating an alarm sound at an alarm time, a memory circuit for memorizing the alarm time and an alarm control circuit for controlling the tone quality and a sound volume of the alarm sound. The alarm control circuit includes externally operable switches of the timepiece which are operable for controlling the alarm sound and which are also operable for correcting time.

An analogue electronic alarm timepiece has a dial on which time is displayed by the usual hour, minute and second hands. The time for which the alarm is set is displayed digitally in an aperture provided in the dial. The digital display of the alarm time is effected by means of a rotatable hour wheel having hour indicia thereon and a rotatable minute wheel having minute indicia. The hour wheel and minute wheel are selectively rotatable by manual operation of an external stem. The hour wheel and minute wheel are magnetically and electronically coupled with alarm time memory means. Time counting means is electronically connected with a dividing circuit which divides a standard signal produced by an oscillator and to which a motor for driving the hands is also connected. The alarm is activated by a coincidence circuit when the time of the time counting means coincides with the time for which the alarm time memory means is set. Means is provided for synchronizing the time counting circuit with the hands.

Analogue electronic alarm timepiece

An electronic watch having chronograph performance is provided with a pulse sound generator for generating a pulse sound at a predetermined interval. The pulse sound generator comprises a counter for counting predetermined clock pulses received from the frequency dividing circuit of the watch, a memory for memorizing a predetermined time interval, manually operable means for selecting the time interval memorized by the memory, a coincidence circuit for detecting coincidence between the contents of the counter and the time interval memorized by the memory and a pulse sound generating circuit for generating a pulse sound when such coincidence occurs.

An electronic timepiece comprising an oscillating circuit for producing a standard time signal, a dividing circuit for dividing the output signal of said oscillating circuit and a driving circuit. The output signal of said driving circuit is controlled by a controlling circuit cooperative with the dividing circuit for changing the division of the standard time signal.

Electronic timepiece

A quartz crystal vibrator unit having a passive electronic element such as a condenser is disclosed. The passive electronic element having the value to compensate the deviation of oscillating frequency from the predetermined center frequency is selected and fixed on the case of quartz crystal vibrator. Since frequency adjustment at assembling process is eliminated, work efficiency is remarkably increased.
