The connector comprises a housing having a connection hole where a pipe with a flange is inserted, a retainer having a latching portion that retains the pipe by being arranged at a location facing the connection hole and engaged with the flange, and a checker that is supported by the housing at the retaining position and is movable from the retaining position to the connection confirmation position when the pipe is inserted into the connection hole up to the normal connection position. The checker is configured to release the engagement between the latching portion and the flange, when at the connection confirmation position, by having the retainer that is engaged with the flange of the pipe at the normal connection position pushed to expand the distance of the retainer so that the pipe can be pulled out from the connection hole.

Connector

A fuel cutoff valve is provided with a casing that forms a valve chamber that is connected to a connection conduit, a float mechanism that is housed so as to be able to rise and fall in the valve chamber, and a spring that supports the float mechanism. The float mechanism is structured through an assembly of a first float body and a second float body, where the first float body is provided with a valve portion that opens and closes the connection conduit and provided with a storage chamber that is open on the bottom, where the second float body is housed in the storage chamber to be assembled into the first float body.

Fuel cutoff valve

A pump module to be disposed within a fuel tank is provided. The pump module includes a chamber, a fuel pump disposed within the chamber and a lid for member telescopically movably supporting the chamber via a telescopic means. An outside diameter of at least an upper end portion of the chamber is set to be smaller than an inside diameter of an inner tubular portion provided at the lid member, so that the upper end portion of the chamber can enter the inner tubular portion.

Pump module for fuel tank

In a fuel vapor release suppression system for a fuel tank, a main tank and a sub tank communicate with each other, and the sub tank and a canister communicate with each other. When the main tank has a higher temperature, fuel vapor of the main tank is supplied to the sub tank where the fuel vapor is liquefied. When the main tank has a lower temperature, fuel vapor of the sub tank is supplied to the main tank. At this time, low concentration fuel vapor is supplied from the canister to the main tank, thereby accelerating generation of fuel vapor corresponding to sub tank fuel vapor pressure, so that the sub tank fuel vapor pressure decreases. Therefore, liquefaction is accelerated in the sub tank when the main tank temperature increases. Thus, fuel vapor generated in a fuel tank is effectively liquified irrespective of ambient air temperature.

Fuel vapor release suppression system for fuel tank

A fuel tank disposed on a lower face of a floor panel beneath a driver's seat and a passenger's seat. A protruding portion of the fuel tank that protrudes rearward is housed within floor tunnels formed in the floor panel. A fuel supply pipe is connected to the rear end of the protruding portion. This not only enables the capacity of the fuel tank to be increased by utilizing an inner space of the floor tunnels, but also enables the resistance against fuel fed to the fuel tank to be reduced by shortening the fuel supply pipe.

Fuel tank arrangement in vehicle

The fuel tank includes a tank main body, a filler pipe, a first breather pipe, and a second breather pipe. The tank main body stores fuel therein. The filler pipe supplies fuel to the tank main body. The first breather pipe connects the upper space of the tank main body to the neighboring portion of a fuel supply opening. The second breather pipe connects the middle portion of the filler pipe to the neighboring portion of the fuel supply opening.
