A bag transport and tilt-correction device for a system for, for instance, manufacturing bags with diagonal spouts, the device including openable and closeable gripping members, an air chuck that opens and closes the gripping members, a reciprocal movement mechanism that reciprocates the gripping members between the bag receiving position and the bag hand-over position, and a reciprocal swing mechanisms that swing the gripping members within the vertical plane along the width direction of the gripped bags. The gripping members are moved together with a reciprocal moving body, which is part of the reciprocal movement mechanisms, and attached to the bottom edge of swing levers, which are part of the reciprocal swing mechanism and operated by a cam during the reciprocal movement process, so as to swing together with it. The tilt of the bag is corrected by the swing motion of the gripping members.

Bag transport and tilt-correction device

An intermittently rotating table-type apparatus for manufacturing a bag equipped with spout(s). The apparatus attaches spout(s) to at least one of the mouths of a bag that are at both shoulders of the bag. The mouth(s) of the bag is expanded by bag mouth suction cups, and the main body of the bag is expanded by main body suction cups; and then the spout(s) is inserted in the bag mouth(s), and the inserted spout(s) is held by spout gripping members. When the bag is moved by the rotation of the table, a suction cup arm that supplies suction air to the suction cup and the suction cup are moved to follow the movement of the bag; and after the sealing is made to the bag and spout(s), the arm and the suction cup return to their original positions.

Method and apparatus for manufacturing a bag equipped with spouts

A bag-making and packaging machine including a bag-making apparatus, a bag-filling (packaging) apparatus, and a bag transfer apparatus. The bag-making apparatusof a bag-making and packaging machine, while releasing a film F from a film roll disposed in the horizontal direction and feeding the film lengthwise, folds and overlaps the film in two in a horizontal attitude, performs sealing in locations corresponding to the bag bottom portions and side portions of the film in the horizontal attitude, and separates bags by cutting. The line corresponding to the bag bottom ends of the folded and overlapped film F (this position indicated by S) is set in the same position regardless of the bag length, and the respective apparatuses such as the forming apparatus, sealing apparatusesand, and cutting apparatus, etc. are disposed with reference to this position.

Bag-making and packaging machine

A rotary type transfer apparatus used in a continuous manufacturing apparatus for spout-equipped bags. The transfer apparatus includes a transfer rotor and a driving device and installed next to an extraction apparatus. The transfer rotor has spout holding members on its circumference, and the driving device causes the transfer rotor to rotate intermittently in a cycle of stopping, acceleration, constant-speed rotation, deceleration and stopping and causes the speed of the spout holding members of the transfer apparatus to coincide with the speed of the spout holding members of the extraction apparatus during the period of constant rotation and causes the spout holding members to run side by side. During the constant-speed rotation, spouts are transferred from the spout holding members of the continuously rotating extraction apparatus to the spout holding members of the rotary type transfer apparatus via a guide member.

Coveying apparatus and rotary type transfer apparatus for spout-equipped bags

A chain conveying apparatus for spouts or bags having spouts, including a pair of annular chains. The attachment plates are provided on the respective oppositely-rotating annular chains so that the attachment plates have play in a vertical direction. Centering guide members are disposed so as to be close to the axial portions of the spouts so as to regulate the movements of the spouts in the direction perpendicular to the attachment plates' moving direction; upper-side guide members and lower-side guide members are disposed above and below the attachment plates so as to regulate the height position of the attachment plates; and flange regulating members are disposed so as to be above the flanges of the spouts, which is being conveyed, with a narrow gap between the flange regulating members and the flanges so as to regulate an upward movement of the spouts.

Chain conveying apparatus for spouts or bags with spouts

An apparatus for inserting spouts into bags comprising a plurality of spout holding member disposed at equal intervals on the circumference of a continuously-rotating rotating table; and a pair of holding members which position and hold both side edges of bags, bag bottom receiving stands that support the lower ends of the bags, and suction plates which open the mouths of the bags with suction. The holding members hold side edges of supplied bags, the bag bottom receiving stand is raised to move the mouths of the bags to the suction plates, and the mouths of the bags are opened by suction by the suction plates. Then, the holding members, bag bottom receiving stand and suction plates are raised, and bags are fitted over the spouts and raised to the upper end of the sealing portion of the spouts. Afterward, the bags and spouts are temporarily sealed.

Spout insertion apparatus

Conveying apparatus and rotary type transfer apparatus for spout-equipped bags

A continuous container-supplying apparatus in which a plurality of container holding assemblies, each comprising right-side and left-side holding members are provided on conveyor belts that run as an integral unit along an annular track that has a pair of parallel sections. Containers are intermittently supplied to the container holding assemblies on one side of the parallel sections, and then converted into a continuous movement in a single row on another side of the parallel sections so that containers are continuously supplied to a filling and packaging system. The right-side holding members are provided on the upper conveyor belt, and the left-side holding members are provided on the conveyor belt. When containers of different width are to be supplied, the relative positional relationship of the upper and lower conveyor belts in the conveying direction is adjusted so as to change the spacing between the right-side and left-side holding members.

Continuous container-supplying apparatus

A supply device which, in a retainer type continuous-filling packaging system, converts the movement of empty bags supplied intermittently in a plurality of rows into a continuous motion in a single row and supplies these empty bags continuously to retainers that are conveyed at a constant speed. The supply device includes an empty-bag holding member conveying device and an intermittent bag supply device. In the empty-bag holding member conveying device, a plurality of empty-bag holding members (that contain therein empty bags) disposed at equal intervals are moved in one direction along a ring-form track that has a pair of parallel sections, and during this movement, the empty-bag holding members are moved intermittently by a specified distance (a distance equal to an integral multiple of an attachment spacing of the empty-bag holding members) on a bag entry side of the parallel sections and are moved continuously at a constant speed on a bag exit side of the parallel section. The intermittent bag supply device simultaneously supplies empty bags to the plurality of empty-bag holding members (with one bag being supplied to each empty-bag holding member) on the bag entry side. On the bag entry side, empty bags are supplied in a plurality of rows to stopped empty-bag holding members by the intermittent bag supply device; and on the bag exit side, the empty bags are successively extracted from the continuously moving empty-bag holding members and supplied to the retainers that are continuously conveyed.

Continuous bag supply device in continuous-filling packaging system and continuous-filling packaging system

A discharge device which, in a retainer type continuous-filling packaging system, extracts full bags (bags filled with contents) from retainers that are continuously fed at a constant speed and discharges these full bags after converting the movement of the bags into an intermittent movement of a plurality of rows. The discharge device includes a full-bag holding member conveying device and a product-conveying conveyor. In the full-bag holding member conveying device, numerous full-bag holding members that have therein the full bags and are disposed at equal intervals are moved in one direction along a ring-form track (or race-track path) which has a pair of parallel sections, and during this movement, the full-bag holding members are moved continuously at a constant speed on a bag entry side of the parallel sections and are moved intermittently a specified distance (which is a distance equal to an integral multiple of an attachment spacing of said full-bag holding members) on a bag exit side of the parallel sections. The product-conveying conveyor receives the full bags in a plurality of rows discharged from the full-bag holding members and conveys these bags &ldquo;as is&rdquo; in a plurality of rows. On the bag entry side, the discharge device continuously receives the full bags from the retainers that are continuously conveyed at a constant speed; and on the bag exit side, the discharge device discharges the full bags in a plurality of rows from the full-bag holding members that are stopped

Intermittent container discharge device in continuous-filling packaging system

A conveying device in which articles supplied intermittently in a plurality of rows are discharged continuously in a single row, comprising a rotational conveying mechanism and a reciprocating driving mechanism. The rotational conveying mechanism rotationally conveys numerous empty-bag holding members disposed at equal intervals in one direction along a ring-form track (or race-track path) which has a pair of parallel sections, and the reciprocating driving mechanism causes the rotational conveying mechanism as a whole to perform a reciprocating movement through a specified distance along the parallel sections of the ring-form track. On a supply side of the parallel sections, the empty-bag holding members are moved intermittently by a distance that is equal to an integral multiple of an attachment spacing of the empty-bag holding members; while on a discharge side of the parallel sections, the empty-bag holding members are moved continuously at a constant speed. Empty bags are supplied to the empty-bag holding members when the empty-bag holding members are stopped on the supply side, and these empty bags are discharged downward from the empty-bag holding members on the discharge side of the parallel sections and inserted into grooves of retainers that are conveyed at a constant speed.

Article conveying device

A rotary type continuous filling apparatus that continuously fills bags accommodated in retainers with a filling liquid via filing nozzles. A cylinder of each of the pump devices that correspond to the respective filling nozzles is installed horizontally with the discharge opening facing outward. The discharge opening communicates with a feed-out opening of a nozzle main body, and a tank containing the filling liquid communicates with a supply opening of the nozzle main body via a flow passage. A cam roller is connected to the piston via swing levers, vertical supporting shafts and cam levers, and these cam rollers move along an annular cam groove of a piston operating cam. Furthermore, each filling nozzle has a flow passage switching valve that switches between a communication and non-communication of the supply opening and the feed-out opening, and it also has an opening-and-closing valve that opens and closes the discharge port.

Rotary type continuous filling apparatus

A retainer with a bottomed retaining hole and a pair of insertion grooves so that a self-standing packaging bag in a closed state is set in the retaining hole and insertion grooves and then the bag is opened and kept opened during packaging operations. The retaining hole that is vertically formed accommodates the body portion of the self-standing packaging bag, and both side edges of the bag are inserted in the insertion grooves which are vertically installed in symmetrical positions on both sides of the retaining hole. The depth of the bottomed retaining hole and insertion grooves is set to be smaller than the length of the self-standing packaging bag, the spacing between the end portions of the insertion grooves is set to be equal to or greater than the width of an unopened self-standing packaging bag, and the angle between the inside surfaces of the retaining hole and insertion grooves is set at or about 90 degrees.
