A sensor node may be used for another purpose for a moment and may also be replaced. By configuring, for a sensor node, a logic node which is provided with the physical node use information indicating whether or not the sensor node is in use and the logical node use information indicating whether or not the sensor node is provided as a logic node, a sensor node to be replaced may be specified based on the replacement request of the sensor node, a sensor node is selected which is configured as logic node providing the physical node use information indicating that the sensor node is not used and the logic node use information indicating that the sensor node is provided as the logic node, thus selected sensor node is identified as the replacing sensor node to achieve the replacement from the replaced sensor node to the replacing sensor node.

A vehicle wheel comprises a rim () and a disk section () separate from the rim. Since the disk section is separate from the rim, the freedom of designing the disk section is improved. The rim comprises an outer rim () and an inner rim () separate from the outer rim. The outer and inner rims are attached to the outer periphery of the disk section at the same place by welding.

A wheel for a vehicle comprises first and second wheel halves joined together, and a center plate being generally cross-shaped. Each wheel half has a disk portion and a rim continuing from the disk portion. The center plate is inter-posed between the disk portions and has a diameter smaller than an outside diameter of each of the disk portions. The first and second wheel halves and the center plate are unitarily connected together by means of a plurality of sockets each having a countersunk head and a cylindrical shank. This arrangement increases freedom of design of the wheel and facilitates production of the same.

A composite sound and heat insulating board comprising a base layer consisting of a compacted mat of filaments, and an additional layer of a material which differs in hardness than the compacted mat, wherein one surface of the base layer is securely attached to one surface of the additional layer. The compacted fiber mat may be composed of filaments of an organic composition, filaments of an inorganic composition, or partially of filaments of an organic composition and partially of filaments of an inorganic composition. The additional layer of the composite board is constructed of a naturally occurring or synthetic resin such as, for example, a relatively hard thermosetting or thermoplastic synthetic resin, or a relatively soft material which is lower in hardness than the compacted fiber mat. The composite board is advantageous when used in association with a source of heat and noise such as, for example, an internal combustion engine of a power driven vehicle.

A tape recorder/player includes several slideable mode selector control levers for selecting the reproducing, recording, stop and other modes of operation of the player. To prevent operation of these levers when the cassette or tape is not in the player, a slideable cam plate is provided, which in a first position engages projections on the levers to prevent them from being moved into their operative positions. In a second position, a number of slots in the cam plate are aligned with the projections on the control levers to permit their movement to select the desired function. A solenoid is energized whenever a cassette or tape is inserted into the recorder/player and controls movement of the cam plate to its second position to align the aperatures with the projections of the levers to permit their operation. When the cassette or tape is removed from the player, the solenoid is de-energized returning the cam plate to the first position where it prevents operation of the control levers.

An automatic diaphragm assembly for use in an optical or optoelectronic image pick-up device having lens systems, comprising diaphragm blades forming a variable aperture, at least one neutral-density filter element movable with one of the diaphragm blades, and an electromagnetic drive unit including a ring-shaped permanent magnet having locally magnetized pole portions alternately disposed circumferentially of the magnet and a ferromagnetic ring forming a circular air gap between the permanent magnet and the ferromagnetic ring.

A typical application of the rotary motion device is a diaphragm-assisted exposure control arrangement of an optical instrument, such as for example as a still camera, a cinema motion camera or a television camera, wherein the diaphragm is driven by the rotor unit for providing a degree of exposure which is optimum for the brightness of an object to be photographed or televised.
