A rotating electrical machine control system () whose control target is an alternating-current rotating electrical machine () including M coil sets () includes M inverters () each including a plurality of switching elements () and connected to a direct-current power supply () and one of the coil sets () to convert electric power between a direct current and alternating currents of N phases; M current sensors () each provided for each coil set () to detect an alternating current of each phase flowing through the coil set (); and an inverter control device () that generates switching control signals (S) for controlling the plurality of switching elements (). The inverter control device () performs current feedback control of the rotating electrical machine () using all detection values for each of N phases obtained by the M current sensors (), to generate the switching control signals (S) common to the M inverters ().

Rotating electrical machine control system

A rotary electric machine control device that performs drive control on an AC rotary electric machine using an inverter that converts power between DC power and AC power through pulse width modulation based on a carrier frequency, the rotary electric machine control device including: an electronic control unit that is configured to vary the carrier frequency such that the carrier frequency becomes higher as a rotational speed of the rotary electric machine becomes higher so that carrier sideband frequencies, which are frequencies of sideband waves that appear on higher and lower sides of a center frequency that is set in accordance with the carrier frequency, are not included in a frequency band prescribed in advance.

Rotary electric machine control device

In a vehicle that includes an engine, a motor, a generator, a battery electrically connected to the motor and the generator, and a transmission provided between the motor and an output shaft coupled to a drive wheel, an ECU executes 'battery-less travel control' in which, at the time of a failure of the battery, the battery is isolated from the motor and the generator, the generator is caused to generate electric power by generating a torque, corresponding to an accelerator pedal operation amount, from the generator, and the vehicle is caused to travel by driving the motor using the electric power generated by the generator. The ECU suppresses losing a balance of input and output electric powers between the generator and the motor by filtering the accelerator pedal operation amount when a vehicle speed exceeds a limit vehicle speed during the battery-less travel control.

In a manual transmission mode, a downshift instruction signal is outputted by a position sensor, and a shift range is lowered by one gear, as a result of an operation of a shift lever by the driver. The driving force of the vehicle is increased through downshifting. The number of times of downshifting within a predefined time is limited to a predefined number of times.

Vehicle control apparatus

In a hybrid vehicle including an engine, a motor, a generator, and a battery that is electrically connected to the motor and the generator, an ECU performs 'battery-less travel control' enabling the vehicle to travel when a fault occurs in the battery by disconnecting the battery from an electrical system including the motor and the generator and driving the motor using power that is generated by the generator using the power of the engine. When the battery-less travel control is underway and a vehicle speed V exceeds a vehicle speed limit Vsh, the ECU implements a vehicle speed limitation. As a result, a control mode of the motor is less likely to shift to a rectangular control mode during the battery-less travel control.

Vehicle and vehicle control method

An object oil temperature is determined by adopting a gradual change process for an oil temperature of a cooling lubricant oil, which is used to lubricate and cool down a motor and a transmission constructed to cause an output power of the motor to be subjected to speed change and to be transmitted to a driveshaft. A load factor of the motor is subsequently set based on the set object oil temperature and a motor coil temperature. A motor torque command is set with the load factor, and the motor is then driven and controlled to ensure output of a torque equivalent to the set motor torque command. This arrangement drives and controls the motor with consideration of the oil temperature of the cooling lubricant oil and thus ensures more adequate actuation of the motor, compared with a conventional drive control without consideration of the oil temperature of the cooling lubricant oil.
