An operation method of an electric press working machine including a frame body, a crown, and a plurality of support posts, a first slide that slides on the support posts, a second slide that slides on the support posts, a first-side drive source that drives the first slide, a second-side drive source that drives the second slide, and either a first upper die that is attached to correspond to the first slide or a second upper die that is attached to correspond to the second slide or both. The method includes: a step of moving the first and second slides to a first position; a step of moving the second slide to a second position while keeping the first slide at the first position; and a step of moving the second slide to a third position while keeping the first slide at the first position.

Operation method of electric press working machine

A pressing apparatus using a motor, in which a driving device for fast feed, which lowers a upper die to a position immediately before pressing, and a motor for pressing, which performs a pressing operation, are used to cause the driving device for fast feed and the motor for pressing to operate cooperatively, and only one position detector, which detects a present position of a slider, is provided for a set of the driving device for fast feed and the motor for pressing. A lock device is provided so as to lock the slider and the screw shaft while the motor for pressing is operating for pressing a work piece.

A pressing apparatus using a motor, in which a fast feed drive lowers an upper die to a position immediately before pressing, and a motor for pressing performs a pressing operation. The fast feed drive and the motor for pressing operate cooperatively, and only one position detector, which detects a present position of a slider, is provided for a set of the fast feed drive and the motor for pressing.

A press forming method is disclosed, wherein press forming can be effected at high speed while maintaining the horizontal state of a slide plate in press-forming a work-piece by a press machine. A press machine is used in which the slide plate is pressed by a plurality of drive sources using servo-motors for driving. The speed of one of the plurality of drive sources is set to a target speed for production forming for the drive source, and by using a function that shows a delay in terms of a speed of the drive source and a load thereon and also using a load separately found, the respective speeds of the drive sources are found so as to eliminate the delay between the drive sources. Trial forming is repeated on the basis of the thus-found speed to derive conditions that enable press-forming at high speed while maintaining the horizontal state of the slide plate.

Press forming method

A press forming machine comprising driving shafts for pressing three or more respective pressure points and displacement measuring means for measuring a displacement close to the pressure point. A central driving shaft among the driving shafts has a gap (the slack) larger than those of other driving shafts between each of the driving shafts and a pressure plate. During press formation at a trial stage, a positional displacement close to each pressure point is measured by the displacement measuring means and control data is supplied to each driving source for driving a driving shaft to drive the pressure plate. Then, production press-formation is performed in accordance with the above result. Therefore, the central driving source can avoid overload by the slack of the driving shaft with the pressure plate.

Press-forming machine

A press forming machines includes displacement measuring means for measuring a displacement between a slide plate and a reference plate. Control means measures a positional displacement of each of the driving sources by using the displacement measuring means in each of a plurality of operating steps during the molding operation, detects a desired displacement position of the entire slide plate, extracts control data including a correction amount to maintain the entire slide plate at the desired displacement position, the correction amount corresponding to a change in load on each of the driving sources, stores the control data in the memory, supplies the control data to the driving sources, and separately drives the driving sources. Since an actual molding operation can be performed using control data generated in a trial molding operation, the cycle time of the actual molding can be shortened.

A press forming method is disclosed, wherein press forming can be effected at high speed while maintaining the horizontal state of a slide plate in press-forming work by a press machine. A press machine is used in which the slide plate is pressed by a plurality of servo-motor drive sources. In trial forming, the slide plate is sufficiently slowly moved to measure the delay of each drive source. According to the magnitude of the delay of each drive source or according to the difference between the trial forming speed and the production forming speed, the respective speeds of the drive sources are corrected, and trial forming is repeated on the basis of the corrected speed to derive conditions that enable press forming at high forming speed suitable for mass production while maintaining the horizontal state of the slide plate to the extent of ensuring sufficient product accuracy.

A press forming machine having a slide plate which reciprocates by driving sources between a lower support stand and an upper support plate and has a forming space between the lower support stand and the slide plate. In the press forming machine, a reference plate for a displacement reference for the slide plate is supported on the lower support stand. The driving sources are engaged with the slide plate by the drive shafts of the driving sources to drive and press the slide plate. The drive shaft is provided with a through hole axially extending in a shaft center thereof, and displacement measuring devices each for each of the drive shafts measures the displacement of the slide plate portion corresponding to the through hole with respect to the reference plate, through the through hole. As a result, the displacements at the pressurized points on the slide plate can be measured.

Pressing machine

In a method for manufacturing laminates comprising a plurality of continuously formed component members having different cross-sectional shapes, a long-sized workpiece is indexed in the longitudinal direction, the component members having outside contours corresponding to each of the cross-sectional shapes of the laminate are formed with non-separating indentation, with at least part of the outside contours left unseparated from the workpiece, and the component members are sequentially punched out and laminated into one piece in the final stage of indexing of the workpiece.

Method and apparatus for manufacturing laminates

In a press forming machine for pressing a slide plate, which has a movable mold thereon, by using a plurality of driving sources, a control unit is disclosed, in which when offset load is applied on the slide plate, molding can be performed while the slide plate is maintained at a desired position relative to a fixed mold. In the press forming machine, engaging parts corresponding to the driving sources are provided on the slide plate, and displacement measuring units for measuring a displacement of the slide plate are provided near the engaging parts. The control unit includes a unit which measures a displacement of each of the driving sources by using the displacement measuring unit in each of a plurality of operating steps during a molding operation, detects a desired displacement position of the entire slide plate in each of the steps, extracts control data corresponding to the driving sources to maintain the entire slide plate at a desired displacement position, stores the control data in a memory, supplies the control data to the driving sources, and separately drives the driving sources. Since actual molding can be performed by using control data generated in a trial molding, it is possible to shorten cycle time of the actual molding.

A method for manufacturing profiles formed so as to have different cross-sectional shapes in the height direction, in which a long-sized hoop of workpiece is indexed, a plurality of types of component members having outer contours corresponding to the respective cross-sectional shapes of the profile are formed in a plurality of stages and indexed in the state where the component members are replaced on the workpiece, and the component members are sequentially ejected from the workpiece, laminated into a profile in the final stage. Clearance holes passing through component members are provided simultaneously with the blanking of the component members, a plurality of the component members are laminated and welded together by applying a laser beam, and then another component member is laminated and pressed on the previously laminated and welded component members so that the clearance holes of the component member agree with the weld buildups on the previously laminated and welded component members, and welded together with the previously laminated and welded component members by applying a laser beam onto locations other than the clearance holes on the component member.

Method and apparatus for manufacturing profiles and laminates

A press machine comprising a base, a guide member provided in such a manner that an end thereof orthogonally intersects the base, a support plate provided in such a manner that the other end of the guide member orthogonally intersects the guide member, a screw shaft supported by the support plate in parallel with the guide member, a nut member engaging with the screw shaft, and a movable body; the movable body consisting of a first movable body and a second movable body, both facing each other, obtained by dividing the movable body at a surface intersecting the traveling direction of the movable body; the first and second movable bodies connecting each other via a differential member formed in such a manner as to slidably engage with the first and second movable bodies; the differential member formed in such a manner as to be movable in a direction orthogonally intersecting the traveling direction of the movable body; and the first and second movable bodies adapted to be relatively movable along the traveling direction of the movable body along with the movement of the differential member.

An index-feed processing system that can reduce the machining cost of a product involving a plurality of machining processes is disclosed. The index-feed processing system comprises a plurality of processing units disposed in the longitudinal feeding direction of a workpiece corresponding to a plurality of processing processes so that the processing processes are performed sequentially as the workpiece is indexed. The processing unit body comprises a base plate and a support plate provided at a predetermined distance from the base plate, a slider provided movably between the base plate and the support plate in the direction orthogonally intersecting the base plate and the support plate, and a drive means for driving the slider. The processing units are formed as machining units so that machining operations can be performed by controlling the movement of the slider.
