A rotating electric machine to which the present invention is applied includes: a plurality of coils provided in a stator for respective phases; a plurality of bus bars having elasticity, which are provided for the respective phases and connected to the plurality of coils; and a holder including a plurality of insertion portions each having a groove shape formed to deform each of the plurality of bus bars.

In a motor stator, terminal wires of a coil are led out respectively from a feed-side and a neutral-side coil end. With three circumferentially adjacent first-, second-, and third-phase coils as one set, the leading end portion and intermediate portion of one of three terminal wires led out from the neutral side are connected to each of the remaining terminal wires. A structure wherein the first- and second-phase terminal wires are connected together in one position, and the second- and third-phase terminal wires are connected together in a different position from the one position, is adopted, thus compacting the size of one wire connection portion.

An alternator can reduce the size of welding equipment and shorten the time of welding operation while ensuring high performance and high quality with the generation of electromagnetic noise being suppressed. The alternator includes a rotor having N poles and S poles alternately formed along a circumferential direction thereof, a stator core arranged so as to surround the rotor and having a plurality of axially extending slots formed at a predetermined pitch in the circumferential direction thereof, and a stator having a stator winding fitted into the slots. The stator core is formed by deforming by bending a hexahedral element iron core composed of iron core blocks with their adjacent ends being in abutment with each other and fusion bonded by welding. The weld portions of the blocks have a depth fusion extending at least up to a tensile region where a tensile stress of the stator core is generated.

A rectifier of an alternator according to the present invention includes: a first heat sink; first unidirectional conducting element bodies that are disposed on a front surface of the first heat sink so as to be spaced apart; a second heat sink that is disposed so as to be separated from the first heat sink; second unidirectional conducting element bodies that are disposed on a front surface of the second heat sink so as to be spaced apart; and a circuit board that has a circuit board terminal by which the first unidirectional conducting element bodies and the second unidirectional conducting element bodies are connected so as to constitute a bridge circuit, and a terminal connection portion is configured by respectively connecting first terminals of the first unidirectional conducting element bodies and second terminals of the second unidirectional conducting element bodies adjacently in a common plane with the circuit board terminal. Thus, connection workability between the first terminals of first unidirectional conducting element bodies and the circuit board terminal and between the second terminals of second unidirectional conducting element bodies and the circuit board terminal is improved.

Alternator

First and second lead portions of an a-phase winding, a b-phase winding and a c-phase winding are each led out from a rear-end coil end group, and subsequently led around circumferentially along an apex portion of the rear-end coil end group so as to be separated from the apex portion. In addition, the first lead portions and the second lead portions are bent axially so as to contact each other closely and are joined together. The first lead portions are fastened by ties in a vicinity of the bent portion extending to the joined portion of the first lead portion, and the second lead portions are fastened by ties in a vicinity of a portion at which the first lead portion is led out from the rear-end coil end group.

Dynamoelectric stator

A method of joining terminals by soldering is provided which allows control of increasing gas supply even in soldering performed in a gas atmosphere within a gas chamber. Utilizing a springback phenomenon occurring at a flat portion of a terminal, a solder joint of the terminal is immersed in molten solder. Then, laser soldering is performed using a gas chamber made of a material which transmits a laser beam at least in part.

A stator of a dynamo-electric machine includes a cylindrical stator iron core having a plurality of slots arranged in a circumferential direction, and a stator winding composed of a plurality of conductor wires installed in the slots, the stator winding being formed by joining end portions of the plurality of conductor wires extending out of different ones of the slots at the end surface conductor sectional area of an end portion over a predetermined extent in a lengthwise direction from a distal end thereof is smaller than a conductor sectional area of a main portion, and an insulating film covers the main portion and a part of the end portion in the vicinity of the main portion, and a plurality of the conductor wires extending out of the different slots are joined with their end portions arranged properly.
