A device for guiding long objects comprises a plurality links. Each link has a pair of link portions that face each other in a first direction. The links are disposed and respectively connected in series along a second direction. Each pair of link portions is connected by a respective pair of arms at the two ends of the respective link in a third direction. In the accommodation space enclosed and formed by each pair of link portions and the respective pair of arms, a long object is accommodated. Two link portions that are adjacent in the second direction are connected by coupling portions. The coupling portions are configured from a second material with a higher wear resistance than the first material that configures the respective link portions. A space is formed between the two link portions on the entire circumference of the coupling portions.

Device for guiding long objects

A long object guiding device includes pivotally coupled links. Each link includes a pair of link portions facing each other in a width direction. The links are pivotally coupled together in a state in which the links are arranged in series in a serial direction. A first link and a second link, which are adjacent to each other in the serial direction, are pivotal between a first state and a second state. Each link portion has a first engaging portion and first and second restricting members. An opening is formed between the first restricting member and the second restricting member. When the first and second links are located in a third state between the first state and the second state, the first engaging portion of the second link is aligned with the opening of the first link in the width direction.

Device for guiding long object

A device for guiding a long object includes links. Each link has a pair of link portions opposite to each other in a first direction. The links are coupled together while being arranged in series in a second direction. At the opposite ends of each link in a third direction, the two link portions are coupled to each other by a pair of arms. The space defined and surrounded by the link portions and the arms constitute an accommodation space for accommodating long objects. The link portions have restricting portions, which restrict pivoting motion range of link portions adjacent in the second direction. Engagement between the restricting portions of adjacent link portions restricts the pivoting motion range to a predetermined angular range. The link portions have a resistance applying portion, which applies rotational resistance.

Device for guiding elongate object

The invention provides a multijoint cable protection and guide device that steadily protects and guides cables and the like that assume flexed and straight postures. The device includes a flexible belt member in which a plurality of center tubular portions through which cables are inserted and a pair of right and left side tubular portions disposed in parallel along the center tubular portions. The center tubular portions and the pair of right and left side tubular portions are integrally molded. A pair of right and left multijoint supporting members is inserted through side tubular portions of the flexible belt member. The multijoint supporting member is composed of a large number of block bodies that are flexibly connected together by concave-convex fittings.

Multijoint cable protection and guide device

Links constituting a device for guiding a long object are each provided with a pair of link portions, a first coupling portion for coupling the pair of link portions to each other, and a second coupling portion for coupling the pair of link portions at a position opposite to the first coupling portion. A long object is accommodated in an accommodation space defined by the link portions, the first coupling portions, and the second coupling portions. The first coupling portion constitutes a mounting member detachably attached to mounting portions of the pair of link portions. The first coupling portion has a hinge shaft at a first end and a hook portion at a second end. The mounting portion of each link portion has a bearing portion that supports the hinge shaft to be freely rotational while restricting movement thereof, and an engaging hole that is engaged with the hook.

There is provided an articulated cable protection and guide apparatus that can securely and stably guide a large number of cables and can assure durability of articulated supporting members operating between straight and bending postures for a long period of time. The articulated cable protection and guide apparatus comprises articulated supporting members which can be easily cut and connected. Each of the articulated supporting members includes a large number of synthetic resin block bodies linked with each other. A plurality of flexible belt members includes tubular storing portions formed in parallel in a belt width direction.

Articulated cable protection and guide device

A tubular cable protection and guide device is provided. The tubular cable protection and cable device includes an elastomer resin sheet that has: an outer circumference wall forming portion, a pair of sidewall forming portions on the left and right sides, and a pair of inner circumference wall forming portions on the left and right sides. The inner circumference wall forming portions have a pair of locking portions. When a cable receiving room is formed, the pair of locking portions is engaged with each other along a sheet longitudinal direction on a flexional inner circumference side, such that the inner circumference wall forming portions form a wall facing the outer circumference wall forming portion. The locking portions each includes a plurality of ridges that extend in the sheet longitudinal direction and are arranged in the transverse direction to be alternately inserted between each other when engaged with each other.

Tubular cable protection and guide device

A cable protection and guide device is provided, which prevents abrasion of the cable skin of a cable or the like and holds the position of a multi joint link with high precision. The cable protection and guide device is characterized in that the multi-joint link includes a link member and a holding member attached to the link member for holding the cable. The holding member includes a cylindrical base portion and a holding portion formed integrally with the cylindrical base portion, wherein the cylindrical base portion is engaged with a circular through hole of the link member, and the holding portion extends outward from the cylindrical base portion in a multi joint link width direction and is bifurcated for holding the cable from two sides, i.e. multi-joint link flexional inner side and multi-joint link flexional outer side. The holding member is rotatable with respect to the link member.

Cable protection and guide device

A cable protection and guide device, which prevents abrasion of the cable skin of a cable or the like and holds the position of a multi-joint link with high precision, is provided. The multi-joint link includes a link member and a holding member attached to the link member for holding the cable. The holding member has a base part to be engaged with a link side locking part and a holding part that extends from the base part, wherein the base part and the holding part are integrally formed. One of the link side locking part and the base part includes a pair of locking concaves arranged in the multi-joint link width direction while the other one includes a pair of locking claws arranged in the multi-joint link width direction and extending in a link flexional inner-outer direction to be engaged with the locking concaves respectively.

There is provided a cable protection and guide member that requires no assembly, allows cables to be readily installed and steadily protected, and suppresses dust, flexion noise and flexion vibrations. The member can also maintain a straight position of the cable, can achieve a flexional movement of the cable smoothly with a small radius of flexion, and can block the cable from jumping out of a cable accommodating space. The member comprises the rectangular-tube like cable accommodating space composed of a belt-like inner circumferential wall portion and of a large number of arm-like holding portions that are formed integrally with both right and left edges of the belt-like inner circumferential wall portion. Side wall base end portions of the arm-like holding portions are integrally molded by two color molding by using synthetic resin softer than any of the portions.

Cable protection and guide member

A cable protection and guide device capable of preventing abrasion powder that is otherwise generated when a link side plate slides on a support surface while switching between a linear position and a flexional position. The link side plate integrally includes: a front side plate portion connected to a longitudinally preceding link side plate to form a cable flexional inner circumferential side; a rear side plate portion connected to a longitudinally succeeding link side plate to form a cable flexional outer circumferential side; and, a flexible linkage portion interposed between the front and rear side plate portions. The rear side plate portion includes a first flexional outer circumferential end surface in an arc shape and provided on the cable flexional outer circumferential side, and, an arc center of the first flexional outer circumferential end surface longitudinally preceding a center of the linkage portion of the succeeding link side plate.

A cable protection and guide device is provided, which prevents abrasion of the cable skin of a cable or the like and holds the position of a multi-joint link with high precision. The cable protection and guide device is characterized in that the multi-joint link includes a link member and a pair of holding members attached to the link member for holding the cable. A flexional inner side holding member has an inner side base part and an inner side holding part that are integrally formed. A flexional outer side holding member has an outer side base part and an outer side holding part that are integrally formed, and the outer side holding part cooperates with the inner side holding part to hold the cable.

There is provided a multi-joint cable protection and guide device that fits well with a flexible belt member in a flexed posture, that steadily protects and smoothly guides cables that assume the flexed posture, that requires fewer parts and that may be readily connected and disconnected corresponding as desired according to usage. The multi-joint supporting member has the flexible belt member in which cable inserting tubular portions are unitarily molded in parallel and a train comprising a plurality of block bodies flexibly connected with each other by concave-convex snap-fittings. The train of block bodies is inserted through the cable inserting tubular portions to control and support straight and flexed postures of the flexible belt member and each block body has a flexion outer peripheral-side curved surface whose curvature is equal to a radius of a flexed circular arc in the flexed posture.

Multi-joint cable protection and guide device

There is provided a cable protection and guide apparatus that improves efficiency of cable insertion and maintenance when a connecting arm attached to a link plate by a hinge structure is disconnected. In order to removably connect the connecting arm to the link plate, the guide apparatus has the hinge structure composed of a hinge stem and a hook that is rotatably engaged with the hinge stem. The hinge structure has a disengagement preventing portion that prevents the hook from disengaging from the hinge stem and a rotation restricting portion that restricts the rotation of the connecting arm in the disconnected condition. The rotation restricting portion is composed of a link-side engagement element and an arm-side engagement element. In the rotation restricting condition effected by engagement of the link-side and arm-side engagement elements, a rotational angle of the connecting arm is an obtuse angle.

Cable protection and guide apparatus

A cable protection and guide device is capable of preventing noise and abrasion powder generated by a flexion outer circumferential connecting arm and avoiding disconnection of the arm. The device includes: a number of link frame bodies each having link side plates each having a front side plate portion connected longitudinally to a preceding link side plate to form a cable flexion inner circumferential side; a rear side plate portion connected longitudinally to a succeeding link side plate to form a cable flexion outer circumferential side; and, a flexible linkage portion interposed between the front and rear side plate portions. The link frame body also includes a flexion outer circumferential-side connecting arm whose flexion outer circumferential-side surface is provided so as to be closer to the cable flexion inner circumferential side than a flexion outer circumferential edge of the rear side plate portion.
