There is provided a high performance compressor that causes no possibility of mixing foreign materials or of leaking refrigerant, that reduces strain otherwise generated in a compressor mechanism section and that is highly reliable even for a long-term use. The compressor mechanism section in which pairs of prepared holes are formed at a plurality of points on an outer peripheral face thereof is disposed within the closed container. Caulking punches are positioned to positions corresponding to those of the prepared holes and a region including the corresponding positions is heated. Then, when the punches are driven by pressing machines, portions of the container wall of the closed container plastically deform as the convex portions and enter the prepared holes. When the container wall cools down, the pair of convex portions of the container clamps a part between the prepared holes.

Plate springs as coupling members can absorb deformation of an oscillator case due to heat and do not transmit the deformation to two optical bases constituting an optical resonator, and it is thereby possible to maintain an appropriate positional relation between the optical cases. A harmful deformation force is produced due to imperfect alignment deformation of bellows each of which is connected between the oscillator case and each optical base. The plate springs can also suppress the force acting on the two optical bases, and it is thereby possible to keep a laser optical axis of a laser beam to be a fixed position.

Orthogonally excited-type laser oscillator

One optical base is provided on each side of a housing that houses a laser oscillator. Optical parts of an optical resonator are fixed to the optical bases. The optical bases are fixed to each other, independently from the housing, by supporting rods. A plate spring and two dampers fix the respective optical base to respective end of the housing. The plate spring bends in the direction of the laser beam when the housing deforms. The damper attenuates oscillation generated due to the displacement of the housing.

Orthogonal excitation-type laser oscillator

An optical fiber reel includes, two optical fiber take-up members taking-up an optical fiber and two flat plate like frame members sandwiching the two optical fiber take-up members between them. The two flat plate like frame members, covering the two optical fiber take-up members, have external circumferential configuration of which diameter is larger than diameter of a circumscribed circle of the two optical take-up members by not less than three times of d of diameter of the optical fiber, and arranged facing each other to make a gap not less than d but less than 2d, each of the two optical fiber take-up members have an external circumferential take-up face and a pair of outer surfaces, and arranged as the pair of outer surfaces being parallel to a flat plate face of the frame members to make a gap of not less than d between each other external circumferential take-up faces of the take-up members. The external circumference of the plane like frame members and external circumferential take-up faces of the optical fiber take-up members have a gap of not less than d between them.

A high-performance and high-reliability scroll compressor which prevents seal property failure at seal necessary points, tooth tip contact, abnormal wear of an elastic body, fatigue failure, etc. A radially outward peripheral projection (4c) is formed on the full outer peripheral surface of a separation plate (4). The peripheral projection (4c) is set to an outer diameter reduced, relative to the inner diameter of the shell main body (9) before a shell lid (20) is sealed by welding, etc., by the dimension corresponding to the shrinkage amount of a shell main body (9). That is, before welding, a minute gap occurs between the outer peripheral surface of the peripheral projections (4c) and the inner peripheral surface of the shell main body (9). Then, the separation plate (4) is inserted into the shell main body (9) and further the separation plate (4) and a frame (3) are fixed. After this, when the shell main body (9) and the shell lid (20) are welded, because of shrinkage of the shell main body (9) after the welding, the outer peripheral surface of the peripheral projections (4c) of the separation plate (4) comes in tight contact with the inner peripheral surface of the shell main body (9), whereby the space is partitioned and sealed between a high pressure space (30) and a low pressure space (31).

Scroll compressor having separation plate between high and low pressures

A scroll type compressor which includes a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll which have their base plates provided with scroll wraps thereon, and which have the scroll wraps combined to form a compression chamber therebetween. A center shell is provided which has an upper inner peripheral surface formed with a stepped portion engageable with a stepped portion in the frame, which has the frame shrinkage fitted thereto. Shells are connected to both ends of the center shell to form a hermetic housing; and the hermetic housing is divided into a high pressure space and a low pressure space at a boundary which is formed by the shrinkage fitted portions of the center shell and the frame. The center shell has a lower inner peripheral surface formed with a stepped portion, and the stepped portion in the upper inner peripheral surface and the stepped portion in the lower inner peripheral surface are formed to keep predetermined parallelism and coaxiality, and the subframe is fixed to the stepped portion in the lower inner peripheral surface. In a preferred embodiment, a welding starting point for fixing the end shells to the center shell is in the same position when viewed in the axial direction on the circumference of the center shell as a welding point for fixing the subframe to the center shell.

A scroll type compressor comprising: which has a peripheral portion formed with a flange, which has the fixed scroll fixed on the flange, which has a bearing at a central portion, and which has an outer peripheral surface formed with a stepped portion; a crankshaft which is rotatably supported at its upper portion by the frame bearing and which supports an electric motor rotor at a central portion; a subframe which has a central portion formed with a bearing for rotatably supporting the crankshaft at its lower end; a center shell which has an upper inner peripheral surface formed with a stepped portion engageable with the stepped portion in the frame, which has the frame shrinkage fitted thereto, shells which are connected to both ends of the center shell to form a hermetic housing; wherein the center shell has a lower inner peripheral surface formed with a stepped portion, the stepped portion in the upper inner peripheral surface and the stepped portion in the lower inner peripheral surface are formed to keep predetermined parallelism and coaxiality, and the subframe is fixed to the stepped portion in the lower inner peripheral surface.
