A secondary battery for an electronic appliance, including a battery cell. The battery cell has a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolyte in a pack. A positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal are led out from the same side face of the pack. A metallic battery can accommodates the battery cell therein such that the side face from which the positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal are lead out is faced towards the opening side. A lid, made of a synthetic resin, in which terminal parts to be connected to the electrodes of the electronic appliance upon being connected to the positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal are faced outwardly, plugs the opening of the battery can, the battery cell being accommodated in the battery can upon being adhered onto an inner face thereof.

Secondary battery

A secondary battery for an electronic appliance, including a battery cell. The battery cell has a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and an electrolyte in a pack. A positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal are lead out from the same side face of the pack. A metallic battery can accommodates the battery cell therein such that the side face from which the positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal are lead out is faced towards the opening side. A lid, made of a synthetic resin, in which terminal parts to be connected to the electrodes of the electronic appliance upon being connected to the positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal are faced outwardly, plugs the opening of the battery can, the battery cell being accommodated in the battery can upon being adhered onto an inner face thereof.

A battery pack includes a battery housing, a battery cell having a tubular negative electrode having an opening part at one end and a positive electrode fixed to the negative electrode in such a way as to close the opening part, the battery cell being housed in the battery housing, and a protrusion disposed between the battery cell and the inner wall of the battery housing in an area other than an area where the positive electrode and the negative electrode of the battery cell are fixed.

Battery pack

A battery and an electronic apparatus are disclosed by which it can be discriminated with a simple configuration whether or not the battery is of a thin type. The battery is configured such that a wall portion for discrimination of a battery characteristic which is swollen in a lengthwise direction and connects to a connector section is formed at a location of one of end faces positioned rather near to an end portion in a widthwise direction of a case of the battery.

Battery and electronic apparatus

In a battery including a battery cell formed in a flattened substantially parallelepiped shape and a terminal contacting section electrically connected to the battery cell, at one end in the longitudinal direction of a face of the battery opposing to the face on which the terminal contacting section is provided, a projecting portion which projects in the longitudinal direction of the face is provided. Meanwhile, another projecting portion which projects in the longitudinal direction of the face is provided at the other end. The projecting portions may have projecting lengths different from each other or may have projecting lengths and projecting thicknesses different from each other. A charging apparatus into which the battery is to be installed includes an accommodating section for the battery which in turn includes projection accommodating portions configured to individually accommodate the projecting portions.

Battery, charging apparatus and electronic device

A secondary battery for electronic appliance to be installed in an electronic appliance, thereby feeding an electric power to the electronic appliance, is disclosed, which includes: a battery cell in which a positive electrode, a negative electrode and an electrolyte are accommodated in a pack, and a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal from the positive electrode and the negative electrode, respectively are lead out from the same side face of the pack; a metallic battery can in which one opening from which the battery cell is inserted is formed and which accommodates the battery cell therein such that the side face from which the positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal are lead out is faced towards the opening side; and a lid made of a synthetic resin in which a positive electrode terminal part and a negative electrode terminal part to be connected to the electrodes of the electronic appliance upon being connected to the positive electrode terminal and the negative electrode terminal and being faced outwardly are provided and which plugs the opening of the battery can.

A power supply system is provided. The power supply system includes electronic equipment adapted to control power supply based on battery identification information from a battery installed in a battery housing section; and a power supply plate, the power supply plate including a plate main body installed in the battery housing section of the electronic equipment, and a cable, one end of which is connected to the plate main body and the other end of which is led through a lead-out hole of the battery housing section out of the electronic equipment, the other end also having a connector formed thereon which is connected to a power source, wherein power is supplied from the power source connected to the connector of the power supply plate to the electronic equipment.

In a battery () including a battery cell formed in a flattened substantially parallelepiped shape and a terminal contacting section () electrically connected to the battery cell, at one end in the longitudinal direction of a face of the battery opposing to the face on which the terminal contacting section () is provided, a projecting portion () which projects in the longitudinal direction of the face is provided. Meanwhile, another projecting portion () which projects in the longitudinal direction of the face is provided at the other end. The projecting portions () may have projecting lengths different from each other or may have projecting lengths and projecting thicknesses different from each other. A charging apparatus into which the battery () is to be installed includes an accommodating section () for the battery () which in turn includes projection accommodating portions (and) configured to individually accommodate the projecting portions (and). The accommodating section () includes a space for accommodating a battery (D,E) wherein the battery cell has a rectangular principal face and another space for accommodating another battery () wherein the battery cell has a substantially square principal face, and charging terminals serve as charging terminals not only for the battery () but also for the battery (D,E).

In a video tape recorder capable of recording information for a long time, first and second rotary heads are angularly spaced by 180.degree. and are arranged without a step between their respective planes of rotation. In a frame recording operation, an odd field of a frame is recorded by the first head in a first track on the tape while the latter is in a stationary condition and an even field of the same frame is stored in a field memory, whereupon, the tape is intermittently driven a distance corresponding to the track pitch and then, while the tape is again in its stationary condition, the stored even field is read from the memory and recorded by the second head in a second track adjacent the first track. In a frame still reproducing operation, with the tape in its stationary condition, the odd field recorded in the first track is reproduced by the first head and stored in the memory, and then the tape is advanced one track pitch and with the tape again in its stationary condition the second head repeatedly reproduces the even field recorded in the second track in interleaved relation with the stored odd field repeatedly read from the memory. In an alternative field still reproducing operation, one of the odd and even fields is repeatedly reproduced by the respective one of the rotary heads during scanning of the respective one of the tracks with the tape in it its stationary condition and is stored in the memory, whereupon, that one field stored in the memory is repeatedly read therefrom during scanning of that one track by the other rotary head, and the field repeatedly read from the memory is interleaved with the same field repeatedly reproduced from the tape.
