The controller performs switching between a manual input dedicated mode in which only a manual input instruction is received by the receiver and a voice input possible mode in which a voice input and a manual input instruction are received by the receiver, and when an operation screen for receiving an input of information, an input of which through a voice instruction is prohibited in advance, is displayed on a display device by a display controller, the controller performs switching to the manual input dedicated mode.

A monitoring system includes a first imaging device, a second imaging device, and a controller. A monitoring system detects an event happening to a detection target, and includes imaging devices, storage, and a controller. The imaging devices each capture an image of an imaging area including the detection target to generate captured image data indicating a captured image. The storage stores therein a detection range in the captured image. The controller detects a change to the captured image in the detection range based on the captured image data. The controller determines one of the imaging devices that has provided a captured image whose image exhibiting a portion of the detection target has a larger area among the captured images to be a main imaging device. Upon detecting a change to a captured image in the detection range captured by the main imaging device, the controller changes the detection range of the main imaging device so that the detection range encloses the detection target image.

A monitoring system includes a first imaging device, a controller, storage, and a notifying section. The first imaging device captures an image of a first imaging area to generate first captured image data indicating a first captured image. The controller detects the events based on the first captured image data. The storage stores data indicating a first flag and a second flag. The events include a pre-event and a post-event detected after the pre-event has ended. The post-event indicates a detection target removal act for a detection target placed in the first imaging area. The controller changes the first flag from the off state to an on state upon detecting the pre-event, holds the first flag in the on state even after the pre-event has ended, changes the second flag from the off state to the on state upon detecting the post-event, and notifies of consecutive event occurrence information.

A monitoring system includes an imaging device and a control device. The control device includes a device communication section, a device controller, and device storage. The device controller includes an assignment section and a count section. The imaging device captures an image of an imaging area to generate captured image data indicating the captured image. The device controller acquires the captured image data from the imaging device through the device communication section. The assignment section assigns a plurality of candidate detection ranges to the captured image. The gesture determination section detects a gesture of a person on a basis of the captured image and determines whether the detected gesture coincides with a prescribed gesture. When the face image of the person is authenticated and the gesture of the person is determined as coinciding with the prescribed gesture, the controller permits a login to the electronic apparatus to that person.

A monitoring system includes: a camera, a storage section, and a control unit. The camera photographs an object. The control unit includes a processor and, through execution of a control program by the processor, functions as an obstacle determination section and a control section. The obstacle determination section calculates a difference between the first photographed image and the second photographed image and determines, based on the difference, whether or not an obstacle is present in a photographing range of the camera.
