A method includes sending image related working status information representing image-related working status of a projector that projects images, to a client over a network in response to a request to provide the image-related working status of the projector. The image-related working status is related to display characteristic of the projected image. The method includes controlling the image-related working status of the projector based on the control information received from the client over the network in response to the sent image-related working status information. The image-related working status information is sent to the client with screen information from which the client can display a user interface that includes the image-related working status information.

Projector, projection display system, and corresponding method and recording medium

A technique for enabling scenario files and image files for supply to a scenario generating device to be created easily is provided. The scenario creating device creates a scenario file supplied to a scenario reproducing device capable of reproducing only image files of a predetermined format. The scenario creating device comprises: an input section including a pointing device; a display section; and a scenario creating section for creating the scenario file. The scenario creating section provides a display of an execution icon on the display screen for causing the scenario creating section to execute a process. When a file icon for a source file of a predetermined format including pagewise scenario information and image information is dragged and dropped on the execution icon by means of operation of the pointing device, a scenario file is created on the basis of the scenario information, and an image file of the predetermined format is generated on the basis of the image information.

Creation of image designating file and reproduction of image using same

A network-connectable projector having a first CPU that executes a web application program stored in a first memory, and a second CPU that controls a working state of the projector, based on working state information stored in a second memory. The second CPU obtains the working state information from the second memory, and transfers the information to the first CPU. The first CPU distributes the web page information including the working state information received from the second CPU to the web client upon receipt of the request from the web client. The first CPU makes the second CPU control the working state of the projector, based on control information that is sent back from the web client and is related to performance control of the projector.

An image display device including an image input means to which image signals are input, an image display means for forming an optical image based on the image signals, and a device adjusting means for adjusting internal conditions of the device is provided with an adjusting operation support means for supporting an operation of the device adjusting means. Commands and data transferred via a network line NL are input to an ASP terminal portionvia a network interface controller. A first CPU loads a client application corresponding to the command and generated user interface image data via a graphics controller. A video signal conversion circuitreceives image data from the graphics controllerand transfers the processed image data to an LCD drive circuit. LCD drive circuitdrives an LCDin response to the received image data to project the desired image data onto a projection screen.
