A control circuit includes: an angular velocity calculator calculating an angular velocity of a mirror based on an angle of the mirror; a target angular velocity calculator calculating a target value of the angular velocity; a resonance frequency detector detecting a frequency of vibration of the mirror using the angular velocity and target value; a drive waveform generator generating a drive signal having sawtooth waveform; and an unnecessary vibration controller optimizing the drive signal to reduce an unnecessary vibration of the mirror based on the frequency of vibration of the mirror and providing piezoelectric elements with voltage according to the optimized drive signal. The resonance frequency detector detects the frequency of vibration of the mirror using a waveform and the target value of the angular velocity of the mirror during a duration in which the drive signal is transmitted to the unnecessary vibration controller from the drive waveform generator.

Optical scanning apparatus

A drive support display device supporting a drive of a self-vehicle based on a detection result by an object detector regarding a nearby area of the self-vehicle. The device receives object information from an external source, the object information identifying a nearby object existing in the nearby area of the self-vehicle, determines whether the nearby object is detected by the object detector, and provides a warning indicator when the determination section determines that the nearby object is an undetected nearby object that is not detected by the object detector. As a result, the undetected nearby object, which is already identified as existing somewhere nearby the self-vehicle but is invisible therefrom, may be emphasized in an image provided by the drive support display device.

Drive support display device

An apparatus mountable on a vehicle includes a movable device, a sensor, and a drive controller. The movable device is mountable on the vehicle so that a person around the vehicle sees the movable device. The movable device has at least one light emitter and is capable of rotating around an imaginary line extending in a height direction of the vehicle. The sensor detects a positional relationship between the vehicle and the person. The drive controller rotates the movable device toward the person based on the positional relationship detected by the sensor. The number of the light emitters shining steadily is increased after the drive controller rotates the movable device toward the person.

Vehicle-mounted apparatus

When a driving support apparatus is under automatic driving of a vehicle or an automatic driving button is pressed under manual driving, vicinity image data is acquired from an in-vehicle camera. When a predetermined target object is recognized in the vicinity image data, a visibility reduction process is applied to image data of the recognized target object. The visibility reduction process applies at least one of defocusing; decreasing color information; and decreasing edge intensity, to the image data of the recognized target object. In contrast, any visibility reduction process is not applied to any other image data other than the image data of the recognized target object. An image display apparatus displays the vicinity image by a combination of the image data of the recognized target object of which the visibility is reduced and the other image data of which the visibility is not reduced.

Driving support apparatus for improving awareness of unrecognized object

In a driver's safety confirmation support system, a moving object detection section detects a moving object approaching to a vehicle in any of detection areas around a vehicle. When the moving object detection section detects the moving object in the detection area on a left side of the vehicle, a display control section controls a right display section provided in a right area relative to a driver's seat to display information regarding the moving object detected. When the moving object detection section detects the moving object in the detection area on a right side of the vehicle, the display control section controls a left display section provided in a left area relative to the driver's seat to display information regarding the moving object.

Safety confirmation support system for vehicle driver and method for supporting safety confirmation of vehicle driver

An input apparatus includes a display unit, an input unit, and a control unit. The display unit displays function items on a display window. The input unit selects and determines one function item with a pointer. The control unit controls a movement of the pointer by setting coordinates of the pointer based on position information transmitted from the input unit. Each function item includes a button region and a selection region. When the pointer moves to one of the button region and the selection region, the function item is selected. When the pointer is set to an equivalent stop state in the selection region, coordinates of the pointer are set as coordinates of a stop state position. When the pointer is set to the equivalent stop state in the button region, the coordinates of the pointer are set as coordinates of a predetermined position of the button region.

Input apparatus

A display control apparatus controls a plurality of buttons displayed on a screen of a display unit. The apparatus, via a detection unit and position calculation unit, calculates a pointer position on the screen that corresponds to a contact position on an input screen that is touched by a fingertip of user. A button selection unit selects one button, as a desired button, from among the plurality of buttons on the screen based on the pointer position. A selected button display control unit displays the desired button on the screen in a display mode different from the buttons not selected. A position correction unit corrects a current pointer position to be at a reference line when the reference line extends in a specific direction from a previous pointer position and the current pointer position is within a specific range that is set to include the reference line.

Display control apparatus and display system with pointer correction

An input apparatus for, in response to a user's sliding operation on an operation surface, inputting a coordinate point in the operation surface to move a pointing image to a target button image is disclosed. The apparatus acquires the coordinate point in the operation surface and sets, as a characteristic line, a tendency of trace of the coordinate point in the user's sliding operation directed to a lateral direction or a longitudinal direction of the operation surface. The apparatus corrects the coordinate point with reference to the set characteristic line so that the trace of the coordinate point is corrected to be a horizontal line or a vertical line. The apparatus outputs the corrected coordinate point for moving the pointing image.

In an input apparatus, a display portion displays a plurality of function items on a screen to form a plurality of rows that are parallel in a predetermined row direction. The function items are provided with selection regions, respectively. One of the selection regions is selected, using a pointer according to a predetermined selection manipulation, and is determined according to a predetermined determination manipulation. When a first function item in a first row of the plurality of rows is selected, a selection region of the first row is enlarged in a direction directing at a row next to the first row.
