A machine learning device and a machine learning method are provided. A controller, which serves as the machine learning device and the machine learning method, is provided to perform machine learning of algorithms for arranging a flexible wire-like workpiece to a predetermined state using an industrial robot. In an embodiment, the machine learning device includes: an acquisition unit that acquires, as state variables, a state of the workpiece before arrangement starts and a state of the workpiece during arrangement; and a learning unit that performs machine learning of an algorithm for arranging the workpiece based on the state variables acquired by the acquisition unit.

A switch device for a sunroof includes: a glass switch piece, which is switchable between glass opening positions and a glass closing position, which are for selecting whether to open or close the opening of a sunroof with a roof glass; and a shade switch piece, which is switchable between a shade opening position and a shade closing shade positions, which are for selecting whether to open or close the opening with of a roof shade. The shade closing positions include a first closing position and a second closing position. The switch device is provided with an interlocking portion, which links the glass switch piece to the shade switch piece so that the glass switch piece is moved into the glass closing position when the shade switch piece is moved to the second closed position.

A sunroof drain device includes a drain portion that includes a bottom wall, a first side wall that rises up in the height direction of the vehicle from an edge end of the bottom wall that is positioned on a side near the opening, and a second side wall that rises up higher than the first side wall in the height direction of the vehicle from an edge end of the bottom wall that is positioned on a side away from the opening. A sunroof driving device includes a pair of rail members adapted to be arranged at both edges of a roof opening formed in a vehicle roof in a vehicle width direction and each extending along a vehicle longitudinal direction, a slide member slidably supported by each of the rail members in a longitudinal direction therof, a supporting member connected to the slide member and supporting a movable panel opening and closing the roof opening, a cross-connecting member extending along the vehicle width direction for establishing connection between respective front ends of the rail members, a drive motor arranged at the cross-connecting member and including a rotating shaft extending along the cross-connecting member, a torque wire extending along the cross-connecting member and integrally rotating with the rotating shaft, and a torque-transmitting member rotated by the torque wire and sliding the slide member along each of the rail members.
