A heater apparatus includes a base member, a cover member supported by the base member, a cloth member provided between the base member and the cover member to hold a heater wire, and a heater temperature sensor brought into contact with the cloth member, covered on a base member side facing the base member and a cover member side facing the cover member with the cloth member, and configured to detect a temperature of the heater wire. The cover member has a cover recessed portion recessed towards the base member in an overlapping region where the cloth member on the base member side and the cloth member on the cover member side of the heater temperature sensor overlap.

A carbonaceous feedstock gasification power generation facility, and a method for regulating a gas for drying gas this carbonaceous feedstock, are disclosed with which it is possible to expand the range of the types of carbonaceous feedstocks that can be used. An electric vehicle includes drive systems, a control apparatus that controls the drive systems, and wheels. Each drive system includes a motor and an inverter coupled by wires. The wires of the drive systems are coupled by first bypass lines. Each inverter converts direct current power supplied from a corresponding power supply into alternating current power and supplies the alternating current power to the corresponding motor. Each motor drives the corresponding wheel. When an abnormality occurs in the supply of the alternating current power from the inverter to the motor in one drive system, the control apparatus performs control (i) to stop the supply of the alternating current power from the inverter of the one drive systems, and (ii) to supply the alternating current power supplied from the inverter to the motor in another drive system, to the motor of the one drive system via the first bypass lines.

Carbon-containing material gasification system, and method for setting ratio of distributing oxidizing agent

A cooling apparatus for vehicle includes a cooling system, a coolant pump, and a diagnostic controller. The cooling system includes a cooling circuit in which a coolant circulates. The coolant pump causes the coolant to circulate in the cooling circuit. The diagnostic controller diagnoses an abnormality of the cooling system on a basis of a coolant temperature. The diagnostic controller performs a first mode process that increases the coolant temperature by stopping the coolant pump, and a second mode process that causes the coolant temperature to fluctuate periodically by driving the coolant pump. Upon the second mode process, the diagnostic controller diagnoses that the cooling system is normal on a condition that a cycle of the fluctuation of the coolant temperature is shorter than a reference time, and diagnoses that the cooling system is abnormal on a condition that the cycle of the fluctuation is longer than the reference time.
