An aluminum alloy brazing sheet used for brazing of an aluminum material in an inert gas atmosphere or in vacuum is formed of a two-layer material in which a brazing material and a core material are stacked in this order. The core material is formed of an aluminum alloy and has a grain size of 20 to 300 μm, and the aluminum alloy includes Mn of 0.50 to 2.00 mass %, Mg of 0.40 to 2.00 mass %, Si of 1.50 mass % or less, and Fe of 1.00 mass % or less. The brazing material is formed of an aluminum alloy including Si of 4.00 to 13.00 mass % and one or two or more of Mn of 2.00 mass or less, Ti of 0.30 mass % or less, Zr of 0.30 mass % or less, and Cr of 0.30 mass % or less.

Aluminum alloy brazing sheet and manufacturing method thereof

A method of manufacturing a fin material made of an aluminum alloy for heat exchangers with no fin buckling deformation and having excellent buckling resistance in a temperature range of 400° C. to 580° C. before a filler alloy melts at the time of brazing is provided. The fin material made of an aluminum alloy for heat exchangers contains 1.0 to 2.0 mass % of Mn, 0.7 to 1.4 mass % of Si, and 0.05 to 0.3 mass % of Fe, with the balance being Al and unavoidable impurities, in which a number density of intermetallic compounds having a circle-equivalent diameter of 0.025 to 0.4 μm is 3.0×10particles/mmor more, and an amount of solid solution of Mn is 0.3 mass % or less.

Fin material made of aluminum alloy for heat exchanger

An aluminum alloy brazing sheet is formed of a four-layer material formed of a brazing material, an intermediate material, a core material, and a brazing material. The intermediate material comprises Mg of 0.40 to 6.00 mass %, and has a total of contents of Mn, Cr, and Zr being 0.10 mass % or more. The core material comprises Mg of 0.20 to 2.00 mass % and comprises one or two or more of Mn of 1.80 mass % or less, Si of 1.05 mass % or less, Fe of 1.00 mass % or less, Cu of 1.20 mass % or less, Ti of 0.30 mass % or less, Zr of 0.30 mass % or less, and Cr of 0.30 mass % or less. Each of the core material and the intermediate material has a grain size of 20 to 300 &#x3bc;m.

A brazing sheet () includes a core material () composed of an Al alloy that contains 0.20-3.0 mass % of Mg; and a filler material () layered on the core material and composed of an Al alloy that contains Mg, 6.0-13.0 mass % of Si, and more than 0.050 mass % and 1.0 mass % or less of Bi. The Mg concentration of the filler material becomes continuously lower in a direction from a boundary () with the core material to an outermost surface (). The Mg concentration of the filler material is 0.150 mass % or less at a first depth from the outermost surface that is &#x215b; of a thickness (t) of the filler material and is 5-90% of the amount of Mg in the core material at a second depth from the outermost surface that is &#x215e; of the thickness of the filler material.

Brazing sheet and manufacturing method thereof

An aluminum alloy brazing sheet used for brazing of an aluminum material in an inert gas atmosphere or in vacuum is formed of a two-layer material in which a brazing material and a core material are stacked. The core material is formed of an aluminum alloy and has a grain size of 20 to 300 &#x3bc;m, and the aluminum alloy contains Mn of 0.50 to 2.00 mass %, Mg of 0.40 to 2.00 mass %. Si of 1.50 mass % or less, Fe of 1.00 mass % or less, and Ti of 0.10 to 0.30 mass %, with the balance being aluminum and inevitable impurities. The brazing material is formed of an aluminum alloy containing Si of 4.00 to 13.00 mass % with the balance being aluminum and inevitable impurities. In a drop-type fluidity test, a ratio &#x3b1; (&#x3b1;=K/K) of a fluid coefficient Kis 0.50 or more.

A flux-free brazing aluminum alloy brazing sheet includes: a core material formed of aluminum alloy comprising Si of 0.50 to 0.90 mass %, Cu of 0.30 to 2.50 mass %, and Mn of 1.40 to 1.80 mass %, with a Mg content limited to 0.05 mass % or less, and with the balance being Al and inevitable impurities; an intermediate material being formed of aluminum alloy comprising Mg of 0.40 to 1.00 mass %, and Zn of 2.00 to 6.00 mass %, with the balance being Al and inevitable impurities; and a brazing material being formed of aluminum alloy comprising Si of 6.00 to 13.00 mass %, Mg of 0.05 to 0.40 mass %, and Bi of 0.010 to 0.050 mass %, with the balance being Al and inevitable impurities.

Flux-free brazing aluminum alloy brazing sheet

A sacrificial material on one surface of a core material, a Al brazing material containing Si: 6.0% to 14.0%, Mg: 0.05% to 1.5%, Bi: 0.05% to 0.25%, Sr: 0.0001% to 0.1%, and Al balance and satisfying (Bi+Mg)&#xd7;Sr&#x2264;0.1 is disposed on the other surface, Mg&#x2014;Bi-based compounds of the brazing material with a diameter of 0.1-5.0 &#x3bc;m are more than 20 per 10,000-&#x3bc;mand the Mg&#x2014;Bi-based compounds with a diameter of 5.0 &#x3bc;m or more are less than 2 before brazing, the core material contains Mn: 1.0% to 1.7%, Si: 0.2% to 1.0%, Fe: 0.1% to 0.5%, Cu: 0.08% to 1.0%, Mg: 0.1% to 0.7%, and Al balance, the sacrificial material contains Zn: 0.5% to 6.0% and Mg of which a content is limited to 0.1% or less, and a Mg concentration on a surface of the sacrificial material after brazing is 0.15% or less.

Aluminum alloy clad material

An aluminum alloy clad material includes: a sacrificial material on one surface of a core material; and an Al&#x2014;Si&#x2014;Mg&#x2014;Bi-based brazing material disposed on other surface of the core material, contains, by mass %, Si: 6.0% to 14.0%, Mg: 0.05% to 1.5%, Bi: 0.05% to 0.25%, Sr: 0.0001% to 0.1%, and a balance consisting of Al and inevitable impurities, and satisfies a relationship of (Bi+Mg)&#xd7;Sr&#x2264;0.1 by mass %, in which Mg&#x2014;Bi-based compounds contained in the Al&#x2014;Si&#x2014;Mg&#x2014;Bi-based brazing material with a diameter of 0.1 &#x3bc;m or more and less than 5.0 &#x3bc;m are more than 20 in number per 10,000-&#x3bc;mand the Mg&#x2014;Bi-based compounds with a diameter of 5.0 &#x3bc;m or more are less than 2 in number, and the core material contains Mn: 0.9% to 1.7%, Si: 0.2% to 1.0%, Fe: 0.1% to 0.5%, Cu: 0.08% to 1.0%, and a balance consisting of Al and inevitable impurities.

An Al&#x2014;Si&#x2014;Mg&#x2014;Bi-based brazing material containing Si: 6.0% to 14.0%, Fe: 0.05% to 0.3%, Mg: 0.02% to 1.5%, Bi: 0.05% to 0.25%, Sr: 0.0001% to 0.1%, and a balance of Al and inevitable impurities, and satisfies (Bi+Mg)&#xd7;Sr&#x2264;0.1, is disposed on both surfaces of a core material, Mg&#x2014;Bi-based compounds of the brazing material with a diameter of 0.1 &#x3bc;m or more and less than 5.0 &#x3bc;m in terms of equivalent circle diameter are more than 20 in number in 10,000 &#x3bc;mand the Mg&#x2014;Bi-based compounds with diameter of 5.0 &#x3bc;m or more are less than 2 in number in 10,000 &#x3bc;m, the core material contains Mn: 0.8% to 1.8%, Si: 0.01% to 1.0%, Fe: 0.1% to 0.5%, and a balance of Al and inevitable impurities, and a cathode current density of a brazing material layer after a brazing heat treatment is 0.1 mA/cmor less.

In a method for brazing a sheet material without use of flux, an inert gas is firstly introduced into an oxygen pump to reduce an oxygen partial pressure in the inert gas to 1&#xd7;10Pa or less, and the sheet material is heated in a brazing furnace in an atmosphere of the inert gas discharged from the oxygen pump. A core alloy of the sheet material or a brazing filler alloy cladded to a surface of the core alloy contains Mg. Both the core alloy and the brazing filler alloy may contain Mg. Accordingly, brazability of the sheet material is sufficiently improved.
