A display board illuminating device includes a light guide plate arranged to face the back of a display board and a light source disposed to face the side end of the light guide plate. The side end of the light guide plate is inclined toward the center of the light guide plate in the direction of the display board. By this configuration an angle of an optical axis refracted at the surface of the side end and incident into the light guide plate with respect to a main surface of the light guide plate, so that the whole area of the display board is illuminated efficiently.

Display board illuminating device for passive displays

A disk player is disclosed which includes a player housing, a turntable installed in the player housing, a disk holder for holding disks and for being inserted and installed in installation mechanism within the player housing, and disk-unloading/conveying mechanism for conveying the disk in the disk holder to a playback position. The disk holder has a housing, plate-shaped trays that can be contained in and ejected from the housing along each principal surface relative to the housing, and a press member for performing a disk clamp action in cooperation with the turntable by abutting against a face of the disk. The face is opposite to what faces said turntable. The press member is provided with a projection projecting upward for being fitted into the center hole of the disk.

Multi-disk player system

A multi-disk player is disclosed which comprises a housing, a play-back means provided with a turntable and disposed in said housing, a magazine arranged to be demountably mounted in said housing at a predetermined mounting portion and for accommodating and arranging a plurality of disks one by one, a disk conveying mechanism for selecting desired ones of said disks in said magazine one by one, and for conveying the selected disks onto said disk carrying surface one by one from said magazine and conveying into said magazine one by one from said disk carrying surface, and a clamp mechanism for clamping the disk conveyed on said turntable. The clamp mechanism includes a pressing member arranged to come into contact with one surface of the disk mounted on the turntable at the other surface of the disk to perform a disk clamping operation in cooperation with the turntable, and a support arm arranged to be movable relative to the turntable between a clamping position and a non-clamping position and for rotatably supporting the pressing member. The supporting arm is movable along a plane parallel to the disk carrying surface.
