An on-vehicle control device includes: a control unit that controls an attitude of a vehicle based on a value of a behavior sensor that detects a behavior of the vehicle, and prohibits control based on the behavior sensor when the value of the behavior sensor exceeds a threshold; and a travel environment determination unit that determines a travel environment of the vehicle based on image information captured by a camera, and in which the control unit changes the threshold to a lower value based on the travel environment determined by the travel environment determination unit.

An electronic control device includes a control command generation unit that generates and outputs a control command for controlling a first control object; a communication unit that performs communication with another electronic control device that controls a second control object; a communication abnormality determination unit that determines whether communication with the another electronic control device by the communication unit is abnormal; and a reset determination unit that determines whether the another electronic control device is reset based on a change in a sensor signal related to a state of the second control object when the communication abnormality determination unit determines that the communication with the another electronic control device is abnormal.

A fault simulation system that has a simulation unit comprising an ECU model including an element fault model made to have a fault by a time setting or external command and all or a portion of a sensor model, actuator model, vehicle model, and driver model and can evaluate vehicle behavior at the time of an element fault according to driving operation based on a set travel scenario, wherein the passage time, vehicle behavior, driving operation, and the like, at each point on a course are determined through non-fault simulation and on the basis of that information, an element fault is inserted according to a fault time setting or fault command for the element fault model.
