A control device includes an inverter, a sensor, a controller, and a filter. The inverter supplies power to an electric motor based on a control on the electric motor. The sensor detects a current supplied from the inverter to the electric motor. The controller executes current vector control by calculating a feedback command value and a feedforward compensation value based on a torque command value, the feedback command value being indicative of a voltage value for decreasing deviation in a supply current to the electric motor, the feedforward compensation value being a value for compensating the feedback command value. The filter performs a filtering process on the feedback command value to pass a low-frequency component of the feedback command value. When the control is switched to voltage phase control, the controller initializes the voltage phase control based on the feedforward compensation value and an output from the filter.

A vehicle control device for decelerating by the regenerative braking of a motor connected to a drive shaft of a drive wheel calculates a torque command value for suppressing a vibration component of the drive shaft by feeding back a torsional angular velocity of the drive shaft to a desired torque that determines the power of the motor and controls the operation of the motor on the basis of the torque command value. The control device estimates a dead zone section, in which the torque of the motor in the vehicle is not transmitted to the drive shaft, on the basis of the desired torque and limits the torque command value in the case where the vehicle is in the dead zone section.

A torque control device for use in a hybrid vehicle equipped with a generator driven by an internal combustion engine has a command value calculator that calculates an engine torque command value and a rotation speed command value of the generator based on a target generation power of the generator set in accordance with a running state of the hybrid vehicle, a generator torque command value calculator that calculates a generator torque command value to cause a rotation speed calculation value to match the rotation speed command value, a generator controller that controls the generator based on the generator torque command value, a rotation speed detector that detects a rotation speed detection value of the generator, and a pulsation removal filter.
