An endoscope apparatus has an endoscope and a video processor. The endoscope has a magnet and a coil, the magnet has a voice coil motor configured to be movable with respect to the coil and a Hall device disposed in the vicinity of the coil and configured to detect a magnetic field of the magnet in order to detect a position of the magnet. The video processor includes a position detection circuit configured to detect the position of the magnet from an outputted signal of the Hall device, an arithmetic operation section configured to correct a sensor output signal indicating the position of the magnet detected by the position detection circuit using correction information and output the sensor output signal, and a drive control circuit configured to control a current or a voltage to the coil based on an arithmetic operation result of the arithmetic operation section.

The endoscope apparatus includes an endoscope and a video processor. The endoscope apparatus has a voice coil motor provided in a distal end portion of an insertion portion of the endoscope and having a coil with a resistance component, and a signal wire inserted into the insertion portion and connected to both ends of the coil, detects at least one value of a current supplied to the signal wire and a voltage applied to the signal wire, calculates power consumption of the coil from the at least one value detected and resistance value information of the resistance component, and executes a predetermined process based on the calculated power consumption of the coil and power consumption threshold information.

An endoscope apparatus includes an endoscope including a cable and a sensor and a processor. The endoscope includes a differential amplifying section configured to differentially amplify an output signal from the sensor. The processor includes a power supply circuit configured to generate a reference voltage supplied to the differential amplifying section. An image forming apparatus to form image layers on a first recording medium and a second recording medium, and including a reception unit that receives a print job, a conveyance unit, an image forming unit, a re-conveyance unit, and a discharge unit. The conveyance unit sequentially conveys recording media to a recording position used to form an image layer on a recording medium. Each time a recording medium is conveyed to the recording position, the image forming unit forms one image layer on the conveyed recording medium based on the print job. The re-conveyance unit re-conveys the same recording media to the recording position. The second recording medium is conveyed to the recording position prior to the first recording medium unless the second recording medium and the first recording media are to receive the same number of image layers. Then, the first recording medium is conveyed to the recording position.

An image forming apparatus performs printing based on a print job and determines whether printing for a first print job and a second print job having been received after the first print job can be made continuously based on a progress of printing for the first print job. In a case where it is determined that the printing for the first print job and the second print job can be made continuously, print media to be used for printing for the second print job is fed to a conveyance path before completing outputting printouts for the first print job.
