A connector () includes a housing () connectable to a mating housing of the mating connector. A female terminal () is held in the housing () and includes a terminal connecting portion (A) to be connected to a mating terminal provided in the mating connector and a barrel (B) connected to the terminal connecting portion (A). A flexible outer wire () is pulled out to outside from the interior of the housing (). An inner conductive member () connects the barrel (B) and the outer wire () in the housing () and includes an intermediate portion (C) formed by bending a metal plate material substantially at a right angle. The intermediate portion (C) is fixed to the housing ().

Connector having inner conductive member

An electric cable includes: a flat electric wire that is hard to bend in a longitudinal direction and easy to bend in a lateral direction; and a terminal that is coupled to a terminal end of the flat electric wire and connected to an inverter. The terminal has a wire connection portion coupled to the terminal end of the flat electric wire and a connecting portion connected to the inverter. The terminal is formed so that, when the terminal is connected to the inverter, a plane that includes a flat surface of the connecting portion is oriented in the direction in which the flat electric wire is easy to bend and intersects with the predetermined direction.

Electric cable and electric connector

In a pair of mutually connectable terminals, one terminal is provided with a joint having a spherical surface formed on the outer circumferential surface, and the other terminal is provided with a hole into which the joint can be fitted. At least one of the joint and the hole is formed in a plate member which can be displaced elastically in the fitting direction of the joint and the hole. When the pair of terminals are connected, the joint touches the circumferential edge of the hole to displace the plate member elastically. When the joint is fitted in the hole, the plate member is reset elastically and holds the spherical surface of the joint under such a state as the spherical surface is pressed against the edge of the hole.

A shield shell is composed of a tubular shell body made of a conductive resin and a metallic conductive body mounted in the shell body. The conductive body is capable of, in the base end part, connecting with a shielding member by being exposed on the surface of the shell body, while in the tip part, connecting with a shield case by being exposed on the surface of the shell body. The shielding member and the shield case are connected via the metallic conductive body of a low electric resistance, and thereby achieving excellent shielding performance in a low-frequency region in the shield shell.

Shield shell

A cable for supplying electric power to a motor is electrically connected to an inner conductor of a terminal block via a contact by a mating structure of a male connector and a female connector. A connecting member for electrically connecting the inner conductor and a motor winding includes a fixed terminal and a movable terminal. The fixed terminal is electrically connected to the inner conductor by a fixing member and has a portion formed to extend along a terminal at the tip of the motor winding. The movable terminal is elastically deformable in accordance with the position of the terminal and arranged to hold the terminal interposed between itself and the fixed terminal. As a result, a motor module can be assembled to the terminal block integrally formed with a housing, while component tolerance is effectively absorbed by the connecting member.

A connector connection structure includes: a female connector on a housing accommodating a dynamo-electric machine mounted in a vehicle; and a male connector shaped so as to be fitted into the female connector by inserting it with a force not smaller than a predetermined amount. The male connector includes a contact joinable with a contact of the female connector to be electrically connected, and a rod-like lever connected with the male connector via a fulcrum. The lever generates the force not smaller than a predetermined amount by applying, with its one end's position being restricted, a rotation force to the other end. The housing includes a protrusion for restricting the position of the one end.

Connector connection structure

A male connector to be connected to a female connector provided at a housing accommodating a vehicle-mounted electrical device includes a contact point to be connected to a contact of the female connector, a cable connected to the contact point, and a shield shell covering the contact point. A fixing structure for the male connector includes a bolt for fixing the shield shell to the housing, on the contact point side, and a clamp for fixing the cable to the housing, on the cable side. The fixed state of the cable established by the clamp is such a state as to allow for more movement of an object to be fixed than does the fixed state of the shield shell established by the bolt.

Connector fixing structure

A connector includes an apparatus-side connector housing attached to a casing of an inverter. The apparatus side-connector housing has a plurality of busbars. Each of the busbars has on one end portion a terminal fitting portion where a mating connector of the apparatus-side connector housing is connected and on the other portion an inverter-side terminal portion where an output terminal of the inverter main circuit board is connected. The busbars are divided and arranged into groups respectively corresponding to the U, V and W phases with respect to the inverter-side terminal portion. The busbars are arranged into groups respectively including the U, V and W three-phases for connection to each of the three-phase loads, with respect to the terminal fitting portion. A wire connecting inverter with a plurality of there phase loads can be arranged with respect to each of three phase loads with small space.

Connector for inverter

In a connector for apparatus, an extension portion extends from a female connecting portion to an opposite side of a wire side terminal. A gap between the apparatus side terminal and an inner circumference of the apparatus side housing is sealed with a seal member which is externally fitted around the extension portion of the apparatus side terminal.

Connector for apparatus

Connection and disconnection between an apparatus and an electric wire are made by fitting an electric wire side housing in an apparatus side housing inside a mounting hole or removing the electric wire side housing from the apparatus side housing, so that the need for time-consuming work for tightening or loosening a bolt or work for attaching a cover to a terminal block or detaching the cover from the terminal block as is conventional is eliminated and workability is good. In addition, the apparatus side housing can be fixed into the mounting hole by a stopper and a retainer, so that workability is good as compared with the case of fixing the apparatus side housing by bolt tightening.

A connector of the invention includes a housing including a terminal fitting, which is made by resin molding; and a ring-like seal member made of rubber, which bonded by molding around a circumference of the terminal fitting so that sealing is steadily performed between the terminal fitting and the housing. It is not necessary to adjust an amount of sealing material applied to the terminal fitting in case that the sealing material is applied to the terminal fitting.

Connector and manufacturing method of the same

A plurality of wires are enclosed by a shielding member; and the shielding member is enclosed by a protecting member. The shielding member is connected to a shield case of equipment via a shield shell. The shielding member has a diameter-spread portion in which a diameter thereof is spread larger than that of the protecting member at an end portion where the shielding member is projected from the protecting member, and connected to the shield shell at an end edge thereof. The diameter-spread portion is covered by a covering member formed in tube shape.

Shielded wire harness

Therein is provided with a connecting structure to the shield case of an apparatus so that a number of the connector parts are decreasing and that connecting operation is facilitated. The connector includes a insulative first housing fixed in a state of being inserted into a through hole, a first terminal held by the housing to face the through hole and connected to the electric circuit. The second housing of the electric wire side is fitted to the first housing. The second terminal is connected to the first terminal. Sealing rings are provided between the outer periphery of the housings and the through hole on outer periphery of the housings so that the bracket fixed to the shield case is electrically connected to shield layer of the shield electric wire. A connecting member electrically connects the bracket and the shield layer outside of the second housing.

Connecting structure for electric wire to shield case of apparatus

A vehicle-connector routing structure is provided with which routing can be made through a narrow space. The vehicle-connector routing structure includes a chassis having an engine compartment and a tunnel continuing from the engine compartment, motors provided in the tunnel, and vehicle connectors connected to the motors. The vehicle connectors include bus bars extending at least from the motors to the engine compartment through the tunnel. One bus bar extends to an inverter. The other bus bar is connected to a flexible electric wire.

Routing structure of vehicle connector

A connector includes: a plurality of terminals fixedly attached to an end portion of a plurality of wires and configured to be connected to the terminals of the equipment, respectively; a housing configured to retain the plurality of terminals and to be fit into the mounting hole; and a shielding shell having conductive characteristic and fixedly attached to an end portion of a cylindrical shielding member enclosing the plurality of wires collectively, and configured to be connected to the shielding casing.
