The fixed housing includes a long wall portion extending in the longitudinal direction of the connector and a short wall portion extending in the width direction of the connector and connected to the long wall portion. The movable housing includes a long wall portion extending in the longitudinal direction of the connector and a short wall portion extending in the width direction of the connector and connected to the long wall portion. The power supply terminal includes a fixed-side retained portion retained on the short wall portion of the fixed housing, a movable-side retained portion retained on the movable housing, and a bent portion connected to the fixed-side retained portion and the movable-side retained portion. The movable-side retained portion includes a first retained portion retained on the short wall portion and a second retained portion retained on the long wall portion.

Connector

A first connector body includes a recess having a substantially rectangular shape in a planar view filled with a plurality of first connection units arranged in close contact in the longitudinal direction of the first connector body, wherein each first connection unit includes a first terminal and a first shield having a rectangular cylindrical shape with a substantially rectangular cross-section surrounding the periphery of the first terminal and extending in the mating direction.

Connector and connector assembly

The first connector body includes: a recess mating with the second connector body; a first side wall part extending in the longitudinal direction so as to define both sides of the recess; and a projection extending in the longitudinal direction of the recess so as to mate with a recessed groove of the second connector body, the first terminal includes a first contact part contacting the second terminal in a recessed groove between the projection and the first side wall part, the first connector further includes a shield plate which is held in the center in the width direction of the projection so as to extend in the longitudinal direction, the second reinforcing bracket includes a reference potential connection part connected to a reference potential trace; and a tongue part contacting both ends in the longitudinal direction of the shield plate, and the second connector further includes a reference potential terminal which includes a tail part connected to the reference potential trace along with a contact part contacting the middle of the shield plate in the longitudinal direction.

Connector assembly

A mating guide part formed with a mating recess part that has a substantially rectangular shaped in a plan view with a first high frequency connection unit mounted therein is included, the first high frequency connection unit includes a first high frequency terminal and a square tube shaped first high frequency shield with a substantially rectangular cross section extending in the mating direction enclosing around the first high frequency terminal, the second connector includes a counterpart mating guide part that has a substantially rectangular shape in a plan view with a second high frequency connection unit mounted therein, and the second high frequency connection unit includes a second high frequency terminal and a square tube shaped second high frequency shield with a substantially rectangular cross section that extends in the mating direction enclosing around the second high frequency terminal.

A connector has a body part and a side wall part which extends in the longitudinal direction, wherein a reinforcing bracket includes: a body part formed on both ends in the longitudinal direction, a side part which is connected to the body part and disposed on a mating guide side wall part on both sides of the mating guide part, and coupling parts which extend in the longitudinal direction with both ends thereof connected to the side part, the side part includes a mating guide engagement part which is engageable with a counterpart mating guide engagement part formed in a counterpart reinforcing bracket installed on a counterpart connector body, the coupling parts include a shield plate part outside the side wall part as well as a supporting part inside the side wall part, and the supporting part includes a supporting engagement part which is engageable with a counterpart supporting engagement part formed in a counterpart supporting part of the counterpart reinforcing bracket.
