An imaging device using a CMOS imaging element includes a memory that stores, as a correction reference value, a gain exceeding a gain obtained by the imaging element and at which a linear fixed pattern noise starts to occur in a captured image; and an image processor that suppresses the fixed pattern noise when the gain exceeding the gain obtained by the imaging element exceeds the correction reference value. The captured image includes multiple pixel lines, each pixel in each of the pixel lines being arranged according to one of a plurality of color scheme patterns. The image processor suppresses the fixed pattern noise when a pixel line of the fixed pattern noise is not continuous in the same color scheme pattern, or when the pixel lines of the fixed pattern noise are continuous in the same color scheme pattern and the number of continuous lines is two.

Imaging device

An electric vehicle control device includes a first inverter controlling a first group defined by induction motors, and a second inverter controlling a second group defined by induction motors. The first inverter and the induction motors of the first group are connected to each other by a first conductor. The second inverter and the induction motors of the second group are connected by a second conductor. A first length is equal to or less than three times the average value of a second length and a third length. The first length is an inter-center distance between the first conductor and the second conductor, the second length is the maximum length of a conductor portion of the first conductor in the cross section of the first conductor, and the third length is the maximum length of a conductor portion of the second conductor in the cross section of the second conductor.

An object of the present invention is to provide a gas diffusion electrode that is less likely to cause damage to an electrolyte membrane or the like due to fluff in an outer peripheral portion during production of a membrane electrode assembly. The present invention provides a gas diffusion electrode including a conductive porous substrate containing carbon fibers and a microporous layer formed on a surface of the conductive porous substrate, in which the gas diffusion electrode satisfies at least one of the following (1) and (2): (1) the number of carbon fibers protruding from an edge portion by 20 &#x3bc;m or more when viewed from a plane surface is less than 1.0 number/cm with respect to a length of the edge portion; and (2) the number of carbon fibers that are inclined at an angle of 30&#xb0; or more in an in-plane direction of the gas diffusion electrode and have lengths of 10 &#x3bc;m or more when viewed from a side surface of the edge portion is less than 1.0 number/cm with respect to the length of the edge portion.

A drive control system controls travel of an electric vehicle, the drive control system including a plurality of induction motors, one inverter that drives the plurality of induction motors, and a controller that controls the inverter. The controller includes a coupling disconnection detecting unit that calculates an estimated torque value on the basis of a total current and a voltage command value at the start of the induction motors, and detects disconnection of a coupling provided between the induction motors and a drive mechanism of the electric vehicle on the basis of the estimated torque value calculated and a torque command value.

A control device includes: a current detector that detects rotating electrical machine currents flowing to the rotating electrical machine; a position estimator that estimates a rotor position of the rotating electrical machine based on the rotating electrical machine currents; a controller that calculates drive voltage commands based on the rotating electrical machine currents and information on the rotor position, adds position estimation voltage commands and the drive voltage commands to obtain rotating electrical machine voltage commands. The position estimator extracts position estimation currents included in the rotating electrical machine currents, the position estimation currents being changed according to the position estimation voltage commands, and estimates the rotor position of the rotating electrical machine using a DC component of amplitudes of the position estimation currents extracted, the DC component being not changed according to the rotor position.

An electric vehicle control device includes a plurality of drive control systems that controls travelling of an electric vehicle. Each of the drive control systems includes an induction motor, an inverter that drives the induction motor, and a controller that controls the inverter. An electric vehicle propulsion control device includes a power converter that applies an alternating-current voltage to an induction machine and a controller that controls the power converter based on an external operation command. The controller includes a first calculation unit. The first calculation unit calculates, from current information (id and iq) detected at the induction machine and current command values (id*1 and iq*1) that are based on the operation command, a d-axis voltage command (Vd*1) and a q-axis voltage command (Vq*1) for the power converter, and a primary magnetic flux &#x3c6;ds and a secondary magnetic flux &#x3c6;dr of the induction machine. The first calculation unit also adds to or subtracts from a term including the q-axis voltage command (Vq*1) an interference term stemming from the d-axis voltage command (Vd*1) in calculating a first speed &#x3c9;that is a free-run speed of the induction machine.

A power conversion device for an electric vehicle includes an inverter that drives a motor mounted in an electric vehicle, and a controller that controls the inverter based on an operation command. The controller includes a sensorless control unit, and corrects an initial resistance value set in the controller, based on temperature information of a temperature sensor mounted in a cooler, sets a resistance value of the motor to the corrected initial resistance value, and causes the sensorless control unit to operate based on the set resistance value.

A control unit is configured to generate a first switching signal based on a voltage command value and a first carrier and a second switching signal based on the voltage command value and a second different carrier, and a characteristic calculation unit estimates and calculates at least one of a resistance value of an electric motor and a dead time error, which is the difference between an effective value of a dead time and a set value of the dead time, based on a first operating characteristic of a power conversion unit obtained when switching elements are driven with the first switching signal and a second operating characteristic of the power conversion unit obtained when the switching elements are driven with the second switching signal.
