A hair-styling tool may include one or more pods that store liquid. For example, the hair-styling tool may include a removable, reusable water pod and/or a removable oil-formulation pod, which may correspond to a hair type of an individual. Moreover, during operation, the hair-styling tool may output or provide one or more discharges, such as: a steam discharge, an oil-formulation discharge, and/or a steam-and-oil-formulation discharge. The discharge flow may be selectable or dynamically adjusted based at least in part on the hair type of the individual, a predefined preference of the individual, and/or a predefined preference of a hair stylist. Moreover, the one or more discharges may be output of or provided from a head in the hair-styling tool. This head may include multiple prongs or tines that are used, in conjunction with the one or more discharges, to detangle or style an individual's hair.

Handheld hair-styling tool for hair styling and management

A system and method is disclosed for anchoring a computer numerical control (CNC) machine to a wind turbine blade. The method includes disposing one or more fasteners of the CNC machine at a surface of the wind turbine blade and implementing one or more tools of the CNC machine at a portion of the wind turbine blade. This method enables efficient and precise machining operations to be performed directly on the wind turbine blade, facilitating maintenance and repair tasks while minimizing downtime and reducing costs associated with blade removal and transportation. The anchoring of the CNC machine ensures stability and accuracy during the machining process, resulting in improved blade performance and extended operational lifespan of the wind turbine.

A computer device may receive multiple images of instances of a label and timestamps or identifiers of the images, where the instances of the label are associated with a printer. Then, the computer may divide the images into subgroups based at least in part on the timestamps or the identifiers and/or differences between the images, and may train a predictive model using the subgroups and information specifying the printer. For a given subgroup, the predictive model may be associated with a predictive signature. Moreover, the predictive model may have a given image of a given instance of the label as an input, and may provide an identity or an identifier of the given subgroup associated with the given image and the printer as an output. Note that the predictive model may be used to activate and/or authenticate another instance of the label.

Two-factor artificial-intelligence-based authentication

An integrated circuit for use in a first vehicle may include: an interface circuit that communicates with a second integrated circuit in a second vehicle; and a processing circuit. During operation, the processing circuit may determine that the second vehicle has better situational awareness for a portion of a road or an environment proximate to the road than the first vehicle, where the second vehicle is proximate to the first vehicle. Then, the processing circuit may dynamically establish, with the second integrated circuit, a communication pairing with the second vehicle. Moreover, the integrated circuit may exchange, via the pairing, information with the second integrated circuit. For example, the exchanged information may include or may specify: measurement data, one or more detected objects, one or more object identifiers, seed information for a detection technique (such as a priori information), and/or a priority or urgency of the exchanged information.

During operation, an electronic device may receive, from a second electronic device, information that specifies or that corresponds to one or more distortions, where the one or more distortions are associated with measurements of a physical parameter that are performed by a sensor in the second electronic device. Then, the electronic device may determine, based at least in part on the information, the one or more distortions. Moreover, the electronic device may compare the determined one or more distortions with historical values of the one or more distortions. Note that the historical values of the one or more distortions may be specified by or may correspond to historical information that is received from one or more third electronic devices. Next, based at least in part on the comparison, the electronic device may selectively authenticate an individual associated with the second electronic device.

According to some embodiments, devices, systems, and methods for autonomously or semi-autonomously conveying downhole oil and gas wellbore tools and performing downhole oil and gas wellbore operations are disclosed. The exemplary devices, systems, and methods may include an untethered drone that substantially disintegrates and/or dissolves into a proppant when shaped charges that the untethered drone carries are detonated. Two or more untethered drones, wellbore tools, and/or data collection devices may be connected in an untethered drone string and detonated for efficiently performing wellbore operations and reducing the amount of debris left in the wellbore after such operations.

A system and a method for determining a location of an untethered drone in a wellbore are described herein. The system includes one or more markers to be placed within a wellbore casing where each of the one or more markers is configured to transmit a continuous or periodic signal. The system further includes a first sensor to be transported by the untethered drone where the first sensor is configured to sense an existence of the one or more markers.

Systems and methods for marker inclusion in a wellbore

A system for deploying an untethered drone is provided. The system includes a wellbore drone for being deployed into a wellbore, a magazine unit, and a control system. The wellbore drone is configured to perform at least one action based on a control command which is provided from an on-board control system embedded in the wellbore drone. The magazine unit includes one or more chambers. The magazine unit is configured to retain the wellbore drone in a corresponding one of the one or more chambers, prior to deployment of the wellbore drone into the wellbore, and dispense the wellbore drone for being deployed into the wellbore through a launcher unit. The control system includes at least one control interface for controlling at least a part of operations of the wellbore drone and the magazine unit.

System and method to deploy and control autonomous devices

A computer that generates a product tag for a product is described. During operation, the computer may obtain information specifying multiple document locations associated with the product based at least in part on different environmental conditions of the product. Then, the computer may generate the product tag (or additional information specifying the product tag), where the product tag includes location information specifying the document locations. Moreover, given location information is associated with a given functional ink or is associated with a given state of a circuit in the product tag that is responsive to a given environmental condition. Furthermore, the environmental conditions for different functional inks or different states of the circuit are different, such that, at a given time, the product tag presents location information for a given one of the document locations. Next, the computer may provide the additional information specifying the product tag to the electronic device.

According to some embodiments, an autonomous perforating drone for downhole delivery of a wellbore tool, and associated systems and methods, are disclosed. In an aspect, the wellbore tool may be a plurality of shaped charges that are arranged in a variety of configurations, including helically, in one or more single radial planes, or opposing around a perforating assembly section, and detonated in a top-to-bottom sequence when the autonomous perforating drone reaches a predetermined depth in the wellbore. In another aspect, the shaped charges may be received in shaped charge apertures within a body of a perforating assembly section, wherein the shaped charge apertures are respectively positioned adjacent to at least one of a receiver booster, detonator, and detonating cord for directly initiating the shaped charges.

A drone conveyance system and a wellhead receiver for deploying drones into an oil or gas wellbore includes a platform, a drone magazine, a platform receiver, a conveyance, and a wellhead receiver. The wellhead receiver prepares the drone to be inserted into the wellbore via the wellhead. Preparation of the drone to be inserted into the wellbore includes adjusting the physical conditions surrounding the drone to approximate the physical conditions in the wellbore. The preparation may be performed using fluid inputs and outputs connected to a compartment of the wellhead receiver. Other preparation processes may also take place in the wellhead receiver such as assuring the appropriate drone is being inserted, that the drone has been programmed appropriately, that safety devices have been deactivated and charging an onboard power supply of the drone.

Wellhead launcher system and method

Devices, systems and methods for navigating and determining the location of downhole oil and gas wellbore tools are disclosed. The devices, systems, and methods may include a drone including an ultrasound transceiver that generates and receives an ultrasonic signal that interacts with the environment external to the drone and detects, utilizing a processer associated therewith, changes the environment external to the drone. The speed and location of the drone may be determined using the processor. Alternatively, an electromagnetic field generator that generates a field that interacts with the environment external to the drone. When the drone moves through the wellbore, the environment external to the drone constantly changes. Based on this changing environment, the speed and location of the drone is determined using the present devices, systems and methods.

System and method for navigating a wellbore and determining location in a wellbore

According to some embodiments, a system and method for determining a best path in a mesh network is disclosed. The method comprises collecting path information from a plurality of nodes in a mesh network during normal network operation of the mesh network. A first of the plurality of nodes is associated with an application that transmits high-density data packets and a second of the plurality of nodes in the mesh network is to function as a target station for receiving the high-density data packets. A best path to transmit the high-density data packets to the target station based on the collected path information is determined and the best path is transmitted to the plurality of nodes in the mesh network for initiating transmission of the high-density data packets to the target station via the best path.
