Millimeter wave (mmWave) technology, apparatuses, and methods that relate to transceivers, receivers, and antenna structures for wireless communications are described. The various aspects include co-located millimeter wave (mmWave) and near-field communication (NFC) antennas, scalable phased array radio transceiver architecture (SPARTA), phased array distributed communication system with MIMO support and phase noise synchronization over a single coax cable, communicating RF signals over cable (RFoC) in a distributed phased array communication system, clock noise leakage reduction, IF-to-RF companion chip for backwards and forwards compatibility and modularity, on-package matching networks, 5G scalable receiver (Rx) architecture, among others.

Wireless communication technology, apparatuses, and methods

Embodiments relate to systems methods and computer readable media to enable a wireless communication device are described. In one embodiment a wireless communication device is configured for phased array communications. The wireless communication device comprises radar circuitry to detect objects that scatter a transmit radiated signal from the wireless communication device. Control circuitry is used to adjust the transmit radiated power of the phased array communications based on information provided by the radar circuitry.

Method and apparatus for proximity radar in phased array communications

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, apparatus and system of processing received wireless signals. The apparatus, according to some demonstrative embodiments of the invention, may include a network interface configured to convert the received wireless signals into output signals to be provided to a host processor, the network interface having a first mode of operation, in which the output signals have base-band values corresponding to base-band values of the received signals, and a second mode of operation, in which the output signals have values representing a data frame of the received signals. Device, system and method of processing received wireless signals

A high quality factor on-package, off-die inductor assembly is disclosed. The assembly includes a flip-chip, ball-grid array package substrate, an on-package, off-die trace line is coupled to one or more bumps attached to an upper surface of the package substrate. The trace line has a self-inductance and a predetermined length. The quality factor associated with the inductor is a ratio of the trace line's inductance to the trace lines resistance. The package substrate is a low loss laminate.

A method and apparatus for generating a first clock signal and a second time staggered clock signal; and driving a first circuit with the first clock signal and a second circuit with the second time staggered clock signal, to cause unwanted signals due to the first clock signal and unwanted signals due to the second time staggered clock signal to occur at frequencies that are a multiple of the first clock frequency. The method and apparatus further comprising synchronizing outputs from the first circuit and the second circuit to facilitate transfer of information therebetween.
