A method and system for generating an interaction-aware video synopsis are provided herein. The method may include the following steps: obtaining, a source video containing a plurality of source objects; extracting the source objects from the source video; detecting at least one object-interaction between at least two source objects; generating synopsis objects by sampling respective source objects; and generating a synopsis video having an overall play time shorter than the overall play time of the source video, by determining a play time for each one of the synopsis objects, wherein a relative display time in the synopsis video of the at least two synopsis objects created from the at least two source objects, detected as having an object-interaction therebetween, is the same as the relative display time of the at least two source objects in the source video.

Method and system for producing interaction-aware video synopsis

A method and system for alarm verification based on video analytics of a plurality of alerts issued by an alert system, wherein the alert system includes at least one sensor, are provided herein. The system may include: a server comprising a computer processor and an interface for communicating with the alert system, wherein the computer processor is configured to: receive at least one alert issued by the alert system; receive at least one video clip associated with the at least one alert; and analyze, by the computer processor, using video analytics algorithms, the at least one video clip, and determine whether the at least one alert is reliable above a predefined threshold.

A system and a method for automatic video and/or audio redaction are provided herein. A method and system for enhancing a speech signal is provided herein. The method may include the following steps: obtaining an original video, wherein the original video includes a sequence of original input images showing a face of at least one human speaker, and an original soundtrack synchronized with said sequence of images; and processing, using a computer processor, the original video, to yield an enhanced speech signal of said at least one human speaker, by detecting sounds that are acoustically unrelated to the speech of the at least one human speaker, based on visual data derived from the sequence of original input images.

A method and a system for generating adaptive fast forward of egocentric videos are provided here. The method may include the following steps: obtaining a video footage containing a sequence of image frames captured by a non-stationary capturing device; estimating a moving direction of the non-stationary capturing device for a plurality of frames in the sequence of image frames; and generating a shortened video footage having fewer frames than said video footage, by sampling the sequence of image frames, wherein the sampling is carried out by selecting specific image frames and that minimize an overall cost associated with a deviation from a specific direction related to the moving direction, calculated for each of said plurality of image frames.

Method and system for generating adaptive fast forward of egocentric videos

Method and system for producing relevance sorted video summary are provided herein. The method may include: obtaining a source video containing a plurality of source objects; receiving features descriptive of at least some of the source objects; clustering the source objects into clusters, each cluster including source objects that are similar in respect to one of the features or a combination of the features; obtaining relevance level of the clustered source objects, respectively; generating synopsis objects by sampling respective clustered source objects; and generating a synopsis video having an overall play time shorter than the overall play time of the source video by determining a play time for each of the synopsis objects based at least partially on the respective relevance level.

Computer-implemented method, system, and techniques for summarization, searching, and indexing of video are provided, wherein data related to objects detected in the video in a selected time interval is received and the objects are clustered into clusters such that each cluster includes objects that are similar in respect to a selected feature or a combination of features. A video summary is generated based on the computed clusters.

Methods and systems for producing a video synopsis using clustering

In a system and method for generating a synopsis video from a source video, at least three different source objects are selected according to one or more defined constraints, each source object being a connected subset of image points from at least three different frames of the source video. One or more synopsis objects are sampled from each selected source object by temporal sampling using image points derived from specified time periods. For each synopsis object a respective time for starting its display in the synopsis video is determined, and for each synopsis object and each frame a respective color transformation for displaying the synopsis object may be determined. The synopsis video is displayed by displaying selected synopsis objects at their respective time and color transformation, such that in the synopsis video at least three points that each derive from different respective times in the source video are displayed simultaneously.

Method and system for video indexing and video synopsis

A panoramic image is generated from a sequence of input frames captured by a camera that translates relative to a scene having at least two points at different distances from the camera. A processor () is responsive to optical flow between corresponding points in temporally different input frames for computing flow statistics for at least portions of some of the input frames and for computing respective stitching costs between some of the portions and respective neighboring portions thereof. A selection unit () selects a sequence of portions and respective neighboring portions that minimizes a cost function that is a function of the flow statistics and stitching costs. A stitching unit () stitches the selected portions and respective neighboring portions so as to form a panoramic image of the scene, which may then be displayed or post-processed.

Method and system for forming a panoramic image of a scene having minimal aspect distortion

A computer-implemented method and system transforms a first sequence of video frames of a first dynamic scene to a second sequence of at least two video frames depicting a second dynamic scene. A subset of video frames in the first sequence is obtained that show movement of at least one object having a plurality of pixels located at respective x, y coordinates and portions from the subset are selected that show non-spatially overlapping appearances of the at least one object in the first dynamic scene. The portions are copied from at least three different input frames to at least two successive frames of the second sequence without changing the respective x, y coordinates of the pixels in the object and such that at least one of the frames of the second sequence contains at least two portions that appear at different frames in the first sequence.
