A pivoted coupling member of a two-piece boom can be shared with standard booms. The boom comprises a first boom having, on the base end side, a pivoted coupling member that is pivotably coupled to a boom support section, and a second boom in which the base end side is pivotably coupled to the distal end side of the first boom and in which an arm is pivotably coupled to the distal end side. In the boom, the lateral width of the main body portionof the second boom (B) is designed to be smaller in the second region (Y) of the base end side than the first region (X) of the distal end side, the base end side of the second region (Y) of the second boom (B) in inserted between the left and right side walls () of the distal end side of the first boom (A), and the second boom (B) is pivotably coupled to the first boom so as to be capable of rotating about the lateral axis.

A swiveling work machine includes a traveling apparatus, a swivel base mounted on the traveling apparatus to be pivotable about a vertical axis, a hood disposed at a rear portion of the swivel base, the hood accommodating therein an engine, a support frame being disposed across over the engine, and a ROPS having a front end thereof fixed to the swivel base and a rear end thereof fixed to an upper portion of the support frame. The support frame includes a front leg member disposed on one lateral side of the ROPS, the front leg member extending to vicinity of a position forwardly of the swivel base.

Swiveling work machine

A swivel work machine includes a traveling unit, a swivel base plate supported on the traveling unit to be pivotable about a vertical swivel axis, the swivel base plate having a first lateral side and a second lateral side provided across said vertical axis, a pair of upper and lower support brackets disposed at a front end of the swivel base plate with an offset toward the first lateral side and adapted for supporting an implement, a pair of left and right vertical ribs extending rearward from the support brackets and fixed to the swivel base plate and a cabin mounted on the swivel base plate. The cabin is disposed with an offset toward the second lateral side relative to the support brackets, a bottom of the cabin being disposed downwardly of the upper support bracket. The vertical rib disposed on the side of the second lateral side extends, from its front portion to its intermediate portion, parallel with a side face of the cabin on the side of the first lateral side.

A swiveling work machine includes a swivel deck mounted to be pivotable about a vertical axis and a side cover for covering one lateral side on the swivel deck, an accommodating space capable of accommodating a work machine accessory being provided inside the lateral cover. The accommodating space accommodates, as the implement accessory, a work oil tank, a fuel tank and a control valve unit. The work oil tank is disposed at a fore-and-aft intermediate portion on one lateral side on the swivel deck. The fuel tank is disposed forwardly of the work oil tank with forming a gap relative thereto. The control valve unit is disposed upwardly of the fuel tank and longitudinally along the fore/aft direction.

Cabin for work machine

A backhoe having an engine hood defining a recess for receiving part of a bottom surface of a driver's seat, and an engine mounted in horizontal posture inside the engine hood. The engine hood includes, in plan view, a first hood space corresponding to the recess, a second hood space and a third hood space arranged laterally of the recess, and a fourth hood space disposed rearwardly of the recess. A cooling air intake is formed in one of the second and third hood spaces, and a cooling air outlet is formed in the other of the second and third hood spaces.

An apparatus for adjusting spacing between a pair of crawler tracks of a working vehicle such as a backhoe. This apparatus is capable of moving the crawler tracks independently of each other. When one of the crawler tracks is moved laterally outwardly of the vehicle, the other may be maintained in an inward position.

In a hydraulic circuit for a backhoe vehicle including a plurality of hydraulic pumps and operating valves for a pair of right and left vehicle-propelling devices and other work implements, two hydraulic circuits connected to the vehicle-propelling devices share a single unit of relief circuit adapted for selectively providing relief oil pressure in a plurality of steps. In a vehicle propelling operation or an excavating operation, the relief circuit provides a higher relief pressure to oil passages used in this operation than that provided for an all-pump-activated condition, hence, the engine output may be harnessed more efficiently.

Hydraulic circuit for backhoe

A backhoe vehicle comprising an engine and a driver's seat disposed rearwardly of an oil passage defining rotary joint of a swivel platform rotatably mounted through bearings on a stationary support of a chassis, a swivel guide gear attached to the stationary support, a swivel pinion meshed with the swivel guide gear, a motor for driving the swivel pinion to rotate the swivel platform, and traveling control valves and backhoe control valves mounted in a control box disposed on the swivel platform forwardly of the rotary joint. The motor is disposed below the traveling control valves and the backhoe control valves. The backhoe vehicle further comprises a driver's deck having a bent configuration with step portions thereof disposed laterally of the rotary joint being at a lower level than a cover portion disposed over the rotary joint.

A valve control structure for a working vehicle comprising a control lever rockable crosswise, a first input rod pushed and pulled by rocking movements in a first direction of the control lever, a second input rod pushed and pulled by rocking movements in a second direction of the control lever, a first output rod connected to a first valve, a second output rod connected to a second valve, and an interlock switching device including bellcranks provided between the input rods and the output rods. The interlock switching device is operable to switch interlocking relationship between the input and output rods through the bellcranks. In one interlocking relationship, the first valve is controlled by rocking movements in the first direction of the control lever and the second valve by rocking movements in the second direction of the control lever. In the other interlocking relationship, the second valve is controlled by the rocking movements in the first direction of the control lever and the first valve by the rocking movements in the second direction of the control lever.

A method of remodeling a control section of a backhoe comprising adding a relay unit including relay rotary sleeve shafts and rotary shafts rigidly attached to a carrier base to extend in two parallel rows, and operatively connecting the rotary sleeve shafts and rotary shafts selectively to drive rods which are pushed or pulled by an oscillation in one direction of one of the hand levers, respectively, and to driven rods operatively connected to those of the valves which should be actuated by the drive rods, respectively.

Crawler travelling apparatus in which a crawler having crawler links is windingly laid over the driving wheel and the take-up wheel, guide wheels are disposed at the frame for guiding the lower travel portion of the crawler, and the lateral outer portions of the guide wheels are covered by an earth and sand protection cover. Further disposed at the frame is an auxiliary cover so as to form an earth and sand discharging opening together with the first-mentioned cover.
