A system is provided that stabilizes an applicator in response to the motion caused by a user. A motion stabilizer includes a receiver configured to be coupled with the adapter; at least one sensor configured to detect a movement caused by a user; circuitry configured to determine a compensation movement to offset the detected movement; and at least one motion generation device embedded in the receiver configured to control a motion of the cosmetic applicator according to the determined compensation movement. An application is configured to capture an image of the user prior to a session of applying a cosmetic using the cosmetic applicator; capture an image of the user after the session of applying a cosmetic using the cosmetic applicator; detect an error in applying the cosmetic to a portion of the user's body; detect a deviation in the movement of the cosmetic applicator during the session when the error is detected; and adjust settings for the motion stabilizer to compensate for the deviation.

Feedback and calibration system for cosmetic applicator configured for users with limited mobility

A system is provided that stabilizes an applicator in response to the motion caused by a user. The system includes a motion stabilizer; and an adapter that holds a cosmetic applicator. The motion stabilizer includes a receiver configured to be coupled with the adapter; at least one sensor configured to detect a movement caused by a user; circuitry configured to determine a compensation movement to offset the detected movement; and at least one motion generation device embedded in the receiver configured to control a motion of the cosmetic applicator according to the determined compensation movement. The cosmetic applicator is configured to have a first end that includes an applicator element that delivers a cosmetic to the skin of the user and to have a second end that includes an eraser, and the adapter or the motion stabilizer is configured to rotate the eraser to face the user after a cosmetic application is performed by the applicator element.

Reversible adapter and ecosystem for cosmetic applicator configured for users with limited mobility

A computing device obtains a first video recorded by a first camera (e.g., a rear-facing camera of a mobile computing device) having a first field of view in an illuminated environment and obtains a second video recorded by a second camera having a second field of view (e.g., a forward-facing camera of a mobile computing device) in the illuminated environment that differs from the first field of view. The second field of view is directed toward a face of a live subject. The computing device extracts lighting environment images from the first video and face images from the second video. The computing device processes the face images and the lighting environment images (e.g., using machine learning models) to obtain a plurality of determinations of skin tone of the face and combines the determinations of skin tone of the face to determine a combined determination of skin tone.
