The MEC can comprise a translation component that translates service provider internet protocol addresses such that they are perceived as enterprise premises internet protocol addresses. Conversely, the translation component can translate enterprise premises internet protocol addresses such that they are perceived as service provider internet protocol addresses.

Facilitation of mobile edge voice over internet protocol applications for 5G or other next generation network

A mobile edge computing (MEC) service area can utilized packet header source and/or destination internet protocol data and session initiation protocol source and/or destination internet protocol data to map internet protocol addresses associated with mobile devices. The MEC can comprise a translation component that translates service provider internet protocol addresses such that they are perceived as enterprise premises internet protocol addresses. Conversely, the translation component can translate enterprise premises internet protocol addresses such that they are perceived as service provider internet protocol addresses.

A mobile edge computing system can utilize a server to host and partition user equipment data for a local area network. For example, a first mobile device can send partition data to the service, wherein the partition data is representative criteria associated with which data should be associated with a particular business entity. After the criteria is established, the server can enforce the criteria upon any mobile device that is within a defined geographic location subject to the criteria. When the criteria are enforced, the server device can determine how much data has been utilized against an account of the business entity.

Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method in which first performance data and second performance data are obtained for a first virtual machine and a second virtual machine on a network, the performance data is analyzed, performance of the first virtual machine is predicted, and a performance trend for the first virtual machine is determined. Performance of the second virtual machine is predicted in accordance with analyzing of the second performance data and a potential transfer of execution of an application from the first virtual machine to the second virtual machine. Execution of the application is transferred to the second virtual machine after determining an expected improvement in execution of the application relative to the first virtual machine. Other embodiments are disclosed.

A system for operating a cross-vertical service comprises a processor and memory storing instructions that cause the processor to effectuate operations. The operations include receiving, at the cross-vertical service, a registration of a first device from a first vertical service associated with the first device and registering the cross-vertical service with a second vertical service. The operations include retrieving data from the second vertical service and monitoring a characteristic of the first device. The operations include, based on at least one of the data and the characteristic, communicating a trigger to the second vertical service to effect an action. In response to the trigger, the second vertical service performs the action.

The virtual zone can include a virtual network function ('VNF') that is executable by the hardware resource. The VNF can support a service that operates within one of layers 4-7 of the OSI communication model. A computing system can detect new subscribers to the service within the virtual zone. The computing system also can determine that a capacity constraint exists within the virtual zone as a result of the new subscribers. The computing system also can home the new subscribers to the further virtual zone so that the further VNF can provide the service to the new subscribers.

A method and apparatus for sharing a service in a wireless network are disclosed. For example, the method receives a request for sharing a service from a first user endpoint device associated with a first customer, wherein the request is directed to a second user endpoint device associated with a second customer, performs an authentication of the first user endpoint device, determines whether the first user endpoint device has a subscription to a sharing service, determines whether the second user endpoint device has a subscription to the sharing service, attempts to obtain an authorization to enable the first user endpoint device to access the service that is associated with the second user endpoint device, wherein the service is related to a financial transaction privilege and provides a response granting the request for the sharing of the service, if the authorization is received.

Method and apparatus for sharing a service in a wireless network

Predetermined services are provided using preset instructions. A transcript of audible content provided over an electronic network and received at a communications device is analyzed to determine whether a trigger is present in the audible content. When the trigger is present in the audible content, preset instructions correlated with the trigger and instructing how to provide a predetermined service are identified. Concepts and technologies disclosed herein are directed to a service compiler component and service controller for Open Systems Interconnection ('OSI') communication model layer 4 through layer 7 services in a cloud computing system. According to one aspect of the concepts and technologies disclosed herein, the service compiler component can receive compiler data associated with a new service. The cloud service can include a database service, an application container service, a resource broker service, a load balancer service, a domain name system (&#x201c;DNS&#x201d;) service, a state persistence service, a probe service, or a combination thereof.
