Provided is a computer-implemented method for conducting a secure payment transaction for a purchase at a merchant using a client device and a remote point-of-sale (POS) system associated with the merchant. The method includes receiving, with a client device, at least one identifier for at least one product to be purchased, the at least one product associated with a transaction value, and detecting a checkout action with the client device. In response to detecting the checkout action, the method includes generating at least one transaction message based on the transaction value of the at least one item to be purchased and at least one account identifier, generating a cryptogram based at least partially on the at least one transaction message and the at least one issuer key, and transmitting the cryptogram to the remote POS system associated with the merchant. Systems and techniques for increasing the efficiency of a process of providing a resource by a resource provider are disclosed. In one example, a method detects a presence of a vehicle at a fuel dispenser, transmits an authorization request message automatically in response to detecting the presence of the vehicle, and automatically allows the fuel dispenser to dispense fuel to the vehicle.

Efficient resource provider system

Described herein is a system in which an electronic record is stored on a distributed environment. In this system, a computing entity that receives an action request with respect to an account may receive or generate an electronic identifier for that account. The computing entity may then identify an electronic record comprising a number of interaction records related to the electronic identifier within the distributed environment. The computing entity is then able to request account-specific information directly from an originating entity for each of the interaction records. In some embodiments, the computing entity may separately determine a level of trust to be associated with each originating entity. In some embodiments, the computing entity may determine a risk level to be associated with an action indicated in the action request based on the received account-specific information.
