A power supply device and a power supply method are provided. The power supply device is configured to generate a first feedback signal according to an output power source, and operate in a skip mode (or called burst mode) according to the first feedback signal. The power supply device is configured to obtain an overall efficiency according to an input power and an output power, and obtain a difference between the overall efficiency and a preset efficiency. When an output current value of the output power source is within a predetermined range and the difference is greater than a first value, the power supply device generates a second feedback signal and stops operating in the skip mode according to the second feedback signal.

Power supply device and a power supply method

A surge voltage protection apparatus includes a surge voltage absorbing component, a ground component, an electrical status sensing circuit and a control unit. The surge voltage absorbing component receives a surge voltage, so that the electrical status sensing circuit senses an electrical status between the surge voltage absorbing component and the ground component to obtain an electrical data. The electrical status sensing circuit sends the electrical data to the control unit. After the control unit receives the electrical data, the control unit determines the electrical data. When the electrical data is greater than an electrical data predetermined value, the control unit informs a power supply apparatus that the electrical data is greater than the electrical data predetermined value, so that the power supply apparatus is turned off to protect the power supply apparatus.

Surge voltage protection apparatus

An AC inrush current testing device is disclosure. The AC inrush current testing device includes a grid voltage peak point calculator, a grid voltage period and timing detector, a switch, an autotransformer, and a main relay. The grid voltage period and timing detector is connected to an AC power source and the grid voltage peak point calculator. A movable contact of the switch is connected to the AC power source. A first winding of the autotransformer is connected to the AC power source, a second winding of the autotransformer, and a first stationary contact of the switch. A third winding of the autotransformer is connected to a second stationary contact of the switch and the second winding. The main relay is electrically connected to the grid voltage peak point calculator, the second winding, and the third winding. A method for testing AC inrush current is further disclosed.

AC inrush current testing device

An AC input voltage detecting device includes a first input, a second input, a determining unit, a first voltage-detecting unit, and a second voltage-detecting unit. The first input and the second input are electrically connected to a neutral line and a live line of an AC power, respectively. The determining unit includes a first power switch, a second power switch, and an output, the first and second power switch are electrically connected in series, and the output is coupled to the second power switch. The first voltage-detecting unit is electrically connected to the first input and the first power switch, the second voltage-detecting unit is electrically connected to the second input and the second power switch. A signal for indicating that the AC power supplies normally is generated from the determining unit while the voltages conducted by the live line and the neutral line are normal.

Alternating current input voltage detecting device

A filtering module includes a first inductor and a first capacitor. The first inductor has a first inductance varied by varying the current into the first inductor. The first capacitor is electrically connected to the first inductor. The filtering bandwidth of the filtering module is varied by varying the current into the filtering module.

Filtering module and power supply device

A power supply apparatus includes a main power processing circuit and an alternating current power detection circuit. The alternating current power detection circuit is electrically connected to the main power processing circuit. The alternating current power detection circuit includes a rectifying unit and a frequency processing unit. The rectifying unit is electrically connected to the main power processing circuit. The frequency processing unit is electrically connected to the main power processing circuit and the rectifying unit. The rectifying unit rectifies an alternating current power to obtain a rectified power. When a frequency of the rectified power is greater than a predetermined frequency, the frequency processing unit informs the main power processing circuit, so that the main power processing circuit processes the alternating current power to obtain an output direct current power.

Power supply apparatus with alternating current power detection circuit

An energy-saving power supply apparatus includes a bridge rectifier, a diode bypass circuit and a control circuit. The diode bypass circuit is electrically connected to the bridge rectifier. The control circuit is electrically connected to the diode bypass circuit and the bridge rectifier. The bridge rectifier includes a plurality of diodes. After the control circuit receives a power start signal, the control circuit is configured to control the diode bypass circuit, so that a part of the diodes are bypassed to save energy.

Energy-saving power supply apparatus

A power supply device includes an output port, a transformer, a power switch, a current sensor, a voltage-dividing controller, a voltage-feedback unit, a voltage comparator, a main controller, and a pulse width modulator. The transformer has two inductances. The power switch is electrically connected to a primary winding of the transformer, the pulse width modulator, and the current sensor coupled to the voltage-dividing controller. The voltage-feedback unit is electrically connected to the voltage-dividing controller, the voltage comparator, and the output port. The main controller is coupled to the pulse width modulator and the voltage comparator.

Power supply device for varying an output voltage

A power supply detection apparatus including a base, a couple of longitudinal motion mechanisms, a couple of lateral motion mechanisms, a couple of pin bases and a couple of vertical motion mechanisms is provided. Each lateral motion mechanism is movably arranged on the corresponding longitudinal motion mechanism and thereby driven to move horizontally. Each pin base is driven to move horizontally by the corresponding lateral motion mechanism and a probe is arranged on each pin base. The probe and the perpendicular lateral motion mechanism are moved along respective directions perpendicular with each other. Each vertical motion mechanism is arranged on the corresponding pin base for driving the probe to move vertically. The probes can be thereby moved to automatically detect an electric power status of an electronic component on a circuit board of a power supply.

Power supply detection apparatus and detecting method thereof

A voltage generating unit generates a standard output voltage and sends to a voltage output side. A voltage detection unit detects a voltage of the voltage output side and informs a voltage gain control unit. When the voltage of the voltage output side is decreasing due to a dynamic load, the voltage gain control unit is configured to control the voltage generating unit to increase a gain of a voltage generated by the voltage generating unit, and the voltage generated by the voltage generating unit is lower than the standard output voltage. Then, the voltage gain control unit is configured to control the voltage generating unit to decrease the gain of the voltage generated by the voltage generating unit, and the voltage generated by the voltage generating unit is equal to the standard output voltage.

Power supply apparatus with reducing voltage overshooting

When a power conversion unit is in a working mode, the power conversion unit converts an alternating current power from an alternating current power supply apparatus into a direct current power. Then, the power conversion unit sends a power starting signal to a first switch control unit. After the first switch control unit receives the power starting signal, the first switch control unit turns on a first switch unit, so that an overall capacitor impedance formed by a first capacitor and a second capacitor is smaller than a first capacitor impedance formed by the first capacitor. When the power conversion unit is not in the working mode, the first switch control unit turns off the first switch unit, so that the overall capacitor impedance is equal to the first capacitor impedance.

Power supply apparatus with variable circuit loop impedance

An over voltage protection testing apparatus is applied for testing an over voltage protection function of a power supply apparatus. The over voltage protection testing apparatus mainly includes a voltage boost-storage unit and an energy release unit. The voltage boost-storage unit boosts an original output voltage outputted from the power supply apparatus into a testing voltage. Therefore, no extra testing voltage source is required for testing the over voltage protection function of the power supply apparatus. Moreover, the extra energy would be released to the energy release unit after the testing of the over voltage protection function of the power supply apparatus is finished. Therefore, the energy releasing of the present invention is faster than the energy releasing of a related art.

Over voltage protection testing apparatus

A power factor correction apparatus is applied to an alternating-current voltage apparatus and a rear end circuit. The power factor correction apparatus includes a power factor correction unit, a control unit, and a ripple detecting unit. The power factor correction unit is electrically connected to the rear end circuit and the alternating-current voltage apparatus. The control unit is electrically connected to the power factor correction unit. The ripple detecting unit is electrically connected to the rear end circuit, the power factor correction unit, and the control unit. The control unit is informed by the ripple detecting unit to control the power factor correction unit to adjust the power factor after the ripple of the signal outputted from the power factor correction unit is detected by the ripple detecting unit.

Power factor correction apparatus

A power converting device includes a switching unit, a resonant unit, a converting unit, a rectifying and filtering unit, an inductance-sensing unit, and a driver. The resonant unit is electrically connected to the switching unit and includes a resonant capacitor, a resonant inductor, and a variable magnetizing-inductor having at least two inductances, the resonant inductor is electrically connected to the resonant capacitor and the variable magnetizing-inductor. The converting unit is electrically connected to the resonant unit. The rectifying and filtering unit is electrically connected to the converting unit. The inductance-sensing unit is electrically connected to the rectifying and filtering unit, the inductance-sensing unit instantaneously senses inductances of the variable magnetizing-inductor. The driver is electrically connected to the inductance-sensing unit and the switching unit, the driver is configured for controlling a switching frequency of the switching unit according to an inductance instantaneously sensed by the inductance-sensing unit.
