An antenna device includes: a plurality of antenna elements for a plurality of communication systems; a housing that houses the plurality of antenna elements; and a digital signal processing circuit connected to one of the plurality of antenna elements and configured to perform a demodulation process to demodulate an analog signal received by the one of the plurality of antenna elements to obtain a digital signal, or/and a modulation process to modulate a digital signal to an analog signal and output the modulated analog signal to the one of the plurality of antenna elements. At least one of the plurality of antenna elements communicates with outside of the antenna device by an analog signal on a signal line connected to the at least one of the plurality of antenna elements.

Antenna device, integrated communication device, and wireless communication device

An antenna device includes: a first antenna having a directional gain at a low elevation angle higher than the directional gain at a high elevation angle; a second antenna having the directional gain at the high elevation angle higher than the first antenna, transmitting and receiving a radio wave having a vibration direction of an electric field intersecting with a radio wave transmitted and received by the first antenna; and a third antenna having the directional gain at the high elevation angle higher than the first antenna, and transmitting and receiving a radio wave having a vibration direction of an electric field intersecting with the radio wave transmitted and received by the second antenna.

Antenna device

A GPS signal from a GPS antenna is provided not only for a navigation apparatus through an amplifier but also for a data communication module (DCM) through a TEL antenna for establishing communication with a station for data exchange, by devising high frequency switches that is controlled by an ON/OFF of an antenna power supply on both of an input side and an output side of the amplifier. When the amplifier is in operation, one of the switches is turned on for distributing the GPS signal to a TEL antenna side. When the amplifier is not in operation, the other switch is turned on for transmitting the GPS signal from the GPS antenna to the TEL antenna side. In this manner, the GPS signal is provided for both of the navigation apparatus and the data communication module without deteriorating signal quality from the GPS antenna.

Antenna device for use in vehicle

The transceiver-integrated antenna includes an antenna element, a ground plate for grounding the antenna element, and a transceiver configured to transmit and receive radio signals through the antenna element. The transceiver is housed in a recess formed in the ground plate. The ground plate serves as not only a plane for grounding the antenna element, but also a radiator for dissipating the heat emitted from the transceiver.

Transceiver-integrated antenna

In an integrated antenna, an antenna characteristic of a first antenna element is obtained when the first antenna element and a second antenna element are mounted on first and second positions of a base by first and second mount portions, respectively. A conductive dummy member has a shape detachably mountable on the second position by the second mount portion. The dummy member allows the first antenna element to substantially maintain the antenna characteristic when the first antenna element and the dummy member are mounted on the first and second positions of the base by the first and second mount portions, respectively.

Integrated antenna and method of manufacturing the same

An antenna unit includes a substrate having an antenna device and a radio absorbing device. The antenna device, substrate and radio absorbing device are constructed of a patch device, a conductive material and ferrite, respectively. The radio absorbing device is attached to the rear surface of the substrate. The radio absorbing device reduces incoming radio wave signals to travel to the rear surface of the substrate due to reflections by surrounding metal parts.
