In a fuel supply system for a motor vehicle wherein a solenoid valve is interposed in an air breather pipe by which fuel vaporized in a fuel tank is introduced into a canister, and the solenoid valve is opened by an ON signal of a fuel flap switch which turns ON when a fuel flap is opened, so as to bring the air breather pipe into communication from the fuel tank to the canister, thereby permitting the fuel tank to be fueled; a safety circuit for a fuel supply system of a motor vehicle comprising the fact that a solenoid valve driving circuit which extends from a power source to an earth through the fuel flap switch as well as the solenoid valve is provided with a first relay of normally-closed type to turn OFF in an ON state of a boost switch which turns ON when a stop of an engine is detected in an ON state of an ignition key switch, and that an ignition coil driving circuit which extends from the power source to the earth through the ignition key switch as well as an ignition coil is provided with a second relay of normally-closed type to turn OFF during energization of the solenoid valve driving circuit, whereby the fuel tank can be fueled only when the engine is stopped.

Safety circuit for a fuel supply system

The present invention relates to a solenoid valve disposed over a fuel tank and incorporating a liquid surface detecting valve for detecting the liquid surface in a fuel tank. The solenoid valve comprises a plunger and an adhesion preventive pin wherein the adhesion preventive pin is lowered in the direction of the liquid surface detecting valve at the time of opening of the solenoid valve and the same pin pushes the liquid surface detecting valve downward at the time when the liquid surface detecting valve is attached and adhered to a valve seat thereof, whereby the liquid surface detecting valve is open with assurance.

A dry grouting agent comprises cement particles having baked on the surface thereof a coating including a water-soluble silicon resin and a surface active agent. The grouting agent is produced by preparing a liquid mixture including a water-soluble silicon resin, a surface active agent and an oily solvent, adding the liquid mixture to cement particles and uniformly kneading it therewith, heating the result to evaporate off the oily solvent and water and to bake onto the cement particles a coating layer containing the water-soluble silicon and the surface active agent, and cooling and pulverizing the resulting solid mass.
