Male connector

A terminal () disclosed by this specification includes a case (), and a coil spring () is accommodated in a compressed state inside the case (). A first conductive member () is sandwiched between a first end of the coil spring () and an inner wall of the case () and has a contact portion () movable in a direction to compress the coil spring () farther. A shaft center () is accommodated inside the coil spring () and projects in an axial direction of the coil spring ().

Terminal

A terminal fitting () includes an electrical contact () with a facing surface () facing a contact surface () of a mating terminal (). A canted coil spring () that is made of a conductive wire material () has a wound surface inclined with respect to the coil axis (L) of the canted coil spring (). The coil axis (L) is parallel with the facing surface () of the electrical contact member (). The canted coil spring () is sandwiched between the mating terminal () and the electrical contact member () when the mating terminal () and the electrical contact member () approach each other. A holder shaft () is inserted in the canted coil spring () to hold the canted coil spring () in a posture where the coil axis L is parallel with the facing surface () of the electrical contact member ().

Terminal fitting, and connector

A terminal () includes a case (), and a coil spring () is accommodated in a compressed state inside the case (). A first conductive member () is sandwiched between one end of the coil spring () and an inner wall of the case () and has a contact portion () movable in a direction to compress the coil spring () farther. A flexible wire () is connected to the first conductive member () and is disposed outside the coil spring ().

A shield connector includes a shielded cable () with wires () enclosed by a shield layer (). An inner housing () accommodates terminals () connected to the wires (). A shield shell () covers the inner housing () and includes a connecting portion () to be connected electrically to the shield layer (). An outer housing () accommodates the shield shell () and is locked to a mating connector. The outer housing () includes a body () enabling the shield shell () to be inserted therein through an opening (A) on a rear side, and two covers (A,B) integrally hinged to the body () to close the opening (A) and cover the connecting portion (). Each cover (A,B) includes a first lock () to be locked to the mating cover and a second lock () to be locked to the body.

Connector and shielding shell

A male connector () includes a housing () made of resin, a male terminal () formed into a tubular shape and filled with resin (B) inside, and a resin cap () for covering a distal end on a front side of the male terminal () in a connecting direction. A communication port (D) is provided in a part of the male terminal () embedded in the housing (). Resin (A) constituting the housing () and resin (B) are integrated via the communication port (D), and the resin (B) and resin (C) constituting the resin cap () are integrated via an opening (E) of the male terminal () on the front side in the connecting direction.

It is aimed to provide a terminal fitting () in which thick plating films can be formed on necessary parts without requiring particularly complicated plating. The terminal fitting () includes a tubular connecting portion () into which a mating male terminal () is insertable. The connecting portion () includes a plurality of resilient pieces () circumferentially divided via expanding slots () extending from a tip. Thick film portions () with a thicker plating film than in other parts are provided on inner surfaces of the plurality of resilient pieces () and contact areas () capable of contacting the male terminal () are provided on these thick film portions (). The thick film portions () and the contact areas () are arranged continuously in a circumferential direction except at the positions of the expanding slots () on an inner surface of the connecting portion () near a tip.

A connector includes a first housing () supported on a first supporting surface (A) in an inverter-side terminal block () in a floating manner and a second housing () supported on a second supporting surface (A) in the inverter-side terminal block () in a floating manner. A first terminal () in the first housing () mates with an inverter-side terminal () in a direction orthogonal to the first supporting surface (A). A second terminal () in the second housing () mates with a motor-side terminal () in a motor-side terminal block () in a direction orthogonal to the second supporting surface (A). A braided wire () has one end connected to the first terminal () and another end connected to the second terminal () and is arranged slidably in directions along the first supporting surface (A) and along the second supporting surface (A).

Connector

A relay-connecting member () has relay terminals (), each of which is fit-connected to an output electrode () and a male tab () of an output terminal (). With this structure, by simply inserting the output electrode () and the male tab () of the output terminal () into the relay-connecting member (), it is possible to easily electrically connect the output electrode () and the male tab () of the output terminal () through the relay terminal ().

Inverter device relay-connecting member

In a pair of mutually connectable terminals, one terminal is provided with a joint having a spherical surface formed on the outer circumferential surface, and the other terminal is provided with a hole into which the joint can be fitted. At least one of the joint and the hole is formed in a plate member which can be displaced elastically in the fitting direction of the joint and the hole. When the pair of terminals are connected, the joint touches the circumferential edge of the hole to displace the plate member elastically. When the joint is fitted in the hole, the plate member is reset elastically and holds the spherical surface of the joint under such a state as the spherical surface is pressed against the edge of the hole.

A shielded connector includes: a shield member having a braided wire that encloses a bundle of a plurality of wires; a shield shell formed by bending a metal plate member into a cylindrical shape and coupling circumferential end edges of the metal plate member; a caulk ring disposed on an outer circumference of the shield shell to hold and fix the shield member between the shield shell by caulking; and an underlay ring that receives caulking force to be applied to the shield shell from an outer circumferential side of the shield shell when the caulking is performed, the underlay ring being disposed on an inner circumference of the shield shell at a position corresponding to the caulk ring.

Shielded connector

A female connector () accommodating a female terminal fitting () has a sealing member () displaying a function of sealing the gap between a female connector housing () of the female connector () and a male connector housing () of a male connector (). The sealing member () has a sealing part () made of a rubber material; and a rear part, made of a highly rigid synthetic resinous material, fixed to the sealing part (). The rear part () has a locking portion () which engages an engaging hole () of the female connector housing (); and a reinforcing portion (), fixed to an entire periphery of a rear end of the sealing part () formed integrally with the locking portion (). The sealing part () and the rear part () are fixed to each other by using a two-color molding method.

Waterproof connector

A shielding connector has a female and male housings (), each of which has an inner housing () that accommodates terminal fittings (). Metal shells () are mounted on the peripheries of the inner housings () and electromagnetically shield the female and male terminal fittings () when the housings () are connected. The metal shells () are configured to achieve secure mounting, effective shielding and a small cross section. A detector () is provided to ensure complete connection and is configured to prevent inadvertent separation of the housings ().

Shielding connector

A bus bar module ( ) includes a bus bar ( ) made of a metal material integrally molded into an insulating layer ( ) made from resin. The bus bar module ( ) also includes a distortion absorptive section ( ) for absorbing distortion resulting from difference in the thermal expansion coefficient between the bus bar ( ) and the insulating layer ( ). Thus, the insulating layer ( ) can stretch out by a difference in expanded dimension between the insulating layer ( ) and the bus bar ( ) at thermal expansion. In this way, the distortion resulting from the difference in the thermal expansion coefficient between the bus bar ( ) and the insulating layer ( ) can be absorbed, and crack occurrence in the insulating layer ( ) can be prevented.
