A network system comprises a communication facility, and a management apparatus. The communication facility includes a wireless base station, a data processing apparatus, and communication processing apparatuses. The management apparatus manages resource management information for managing, as a resource, a value of an item to be set for the communication facility to generate a network slice for each of characteristics of the network slice. The management apparatus generates the network slice, refers, based on a characteristic of the network slice, to the resource management information to determine the value of the item and transmits, to the communication facility, first setting information for setting the determined value of the item. The management apparatus generates a transfer rule by associating identification information on a wireless terminal and identification information on the data processing apparatus with each other and transmits, to the communication facility, second setting information for setting the transfer rule.

Network system and network slice generation method

An internal structure detection system includes: two kinds of sensors with different operating principles for receiving reflected waves of vibration applied to an inspection target in an investigation area; and a processing apparatus that detects an internal structure of the inspection target by using the sensor data received by the two kinds of sensors. The two kinds of sensors are deployed in the investigation area with different densities, in a distributed manner.

In the sensor apparatus, in an operational mode, the normal operation unit records data measured by the first sensor into the storage device, and, in a non-operational mode, when a measured value obtained by the second sensor satisfies a predetermined condition, the external environment detection unit controls the power supply switch unit so that the power supply switch unit supplies the electric power to the normal operation unit, and the normal operation unit records the data measured by the first sensor into the storage device.

A time synchronization system includes: a position information acquisition unit configured to acquire installation position information related to an installation position of a time synchronization target whose time is synchronized; a time synchronization signal acquisition unit configured to receive a positioning signal transmitted from a positioning satellite as a time synchronization signal and acquire, from the time synchronization signal, transmission position information related a position of the positioning satellite and transmission time information at timing when the time synchronization signal is transmitted; and a signal processing unit configured to calculate synchronized time information for the time synchronization target based on the installation position information of the time synchronization target and the transmission position information and transmission time information from the time synchronization signal, and transmit the synchronized time information to the time synchronization target.

Time synchronization system

There is disclosed a method of detecting failures or anomalies of a large number of sensor terminals without using manpower or expensive equipment in the seismic exploration business. The method includes preparing a plurality of sensor terminals having sensors that detect vibrations from outside, the plurality of sensor terminals receiving the vibrations and outputting vibration reception signals, and comparing a first vibration reception signal output by a first sensor terminal with a second vibration reception signal output by a second sensor terminal, thereby detecting if one of the first sensor and the second sensor is failed or anomalous.

When a mobile station registered at a closed-type femtocell base station is in a connection state in a cell area covered by the femtocell base station, the transfer power of the femtocell base station for a cell identification signal is adjusted according to one scale estimating the receiving quality of the cell identification signal at the mobile station. When no mobile station is located in the cell area covered by the femtocell base station, the cell identification signal is sent with the minimum transmission power necessary for a mobile station to make a call in the cell area to reduce the power consumption of the femtocell base station and also to reduce interference with other macrocell base stations and other femtocell base stations.

Radio communication method, radio mobile device and radio base station accomodation apparatus

A method for, in a radio communication system having at least a content server, plurality of base stations, and plurality of radio terminals, enabling two or more base stations among the plurality of base stations to broadcast or multicast data delivered from the content server to the radio terminals, the method includes: providing a Broadcast Multicast Service (BCMCS) Serving Node between the content server and two or more base stations; the BCMCS Serving Node includes a period number and sequence number into data delivered from the content server and transmits data including the period number and sequence number to the two or more base stations; in case that a synchronization is deviated or data is lost during data delivery from the base stations to the radio terminals, the base stations perform re-synchronization on a basis of the period number and sequence number included in data received from the BCMCS Serving Node.

Synchronous delivery method

In a wireless communications system operating according to CDMA or the like, when one terminal simultaneously performs communication using multiple wireless resources (e.g., multiple carriers), there was a problem that when it was attempted to guarantee network mobility by the same soft handoff system as in the case where communication was performed using only one wireless resource, efficiency suffered from the viewpoint of network forwarding load, processing load and wireless resource occupancy time. Soft handoff termination is judged and soft handoff is forcibly terminated according to whether or not the data rate obtained for all resources on the network side satisfies a requested rate, based on a reception state notification from a terminal concerning wireless resources. By performing this processing, the soft handoff period is shortened, sufficient received strength in the terminal is maintained and terminal mobility is guaranteed, while at the same time network forwarding load, terminal processing load and wireless resource occupancy time are suppressed to the absolute minimum.

A radio communication system of an HARQ method that makes an HARQ transmission interval of subpackets appropriate and reduces data transmission delay resulting from subpacket retransmission. In the radio communication system in which a packet is transmitted and receives with the HARQ method between a base station and multiple radio mobile stations, each of the base station and the multiple radio mobile stations has: a packet transmission circuit for transmitting subpackets in predetermined intervals; a packet reception circuit for repeating decoding processing by combining a newly received subpacket and a previously received former subpacket until an original packet is successfully decoded; and a HARQ control equipped with a function of, for packet communication whose data length is short, transmitting a subpacket or response from the packet transmission circuit in an HARQ transmission interval that is shortened from the HARQ transmission interval of the normal mode.

Since the OFDM communication method does not select whether plural sectors use a same terminal as a transmission destination, or always use it as a transmission destination, giving a preference to system throughput deteriorates channel quality of a terminal in a sector boundary, while increasing channel quality in sector boundaries greatly deteriorates system throughput. In a base station, when a sector transmits to a terminal in the front of a beam, only the sector performs the transmission, and when transmission is made to a terminal in a sector boundary off the direction of the beam, a different sector transmits to the same terminal using a same hopping pattern. Thereby, tradeoff between the channel quality of the terminal in a sector boundary and deterioration in system throughput can be minimized.
