A sensorof a data collection systemis designed to make, in a predetermined environment, an operation of writing output data of a sensing circuitinto a non-volatile memoryas reference-value data, and, in a measurement environment, an operation of transmitting output data of the sensing circuit and reference-value data stored in the non-volatile memory, under the control of a memory control section, thereby selectively performing by itself the data-writing or data-transmitting operation without receiving instructions from a readout device.

Data acquisition device using radio frequency identification (RFID) system

A sensor apparatus () has a coil () for receiving an electromagnetic wave energy applied from outside, a power supply section () for generating an internal power supply from the electromagnetic wave energy, and a sensing circuit () having a sensor device mounted thereon. The sensor apparatus receives and decodes a tolerance value intrinsic to the sensor apparatus and set by a configuration/read-out apparatus () based on the output of the sensing circuit of the sensor apparatus placed under a prescribed environment, and stores the tolerance value in a nonvolatile memory (). The sensor apparatus placed under a measuring environment sends out the output of the sensing circuit and the tolerance value to the configuration/read-out apparatus.

Sensor device, setting device, reading device, and article administration system

A non-contact temperature measuring apparatus is provided with spherical semiconductors mounted on a measurement object and a data collector disposed out of contact with the measurement object. Each spherical semiconductor has an electronic circuit which is operable using internal power created from electromagnetic energy supplied from the data collector, to thereby obtain temperature information. The data collector contactlessly determines a temperature of or a temperature distribution across the measurement object based on pieces of temperature information transmitted from the spherical semiconductors specified by pieces of identification information sequentially transmitted from the data collector.

Apparatus and method for non-contact temperature measurement

An integrated circuit device has a device main bodyhaving a predetermined circuit function of providing an output corresponding to an input thereto, and is provided with a power supply sectionfor receiving through a coilelectromagnetic wave energy applied from outside to generate predetermined internal electric power required to operate the integrated circuit device. The integrated circuit device further includes a calibration data acquisition circuit (operation control section) for detecting the output of the device main bodyoperated in a predetermined operating environment to obtain calibration data on the device main body, and a nonvolatile memoryfor storing the calibration data. Using the calibration data stored in the nonvolatile memory, the output of the device main bodyduring actual use of the integrated circuit device is corrected (calibrated), whereby deviation or dispersion of the output or output characteristic of the device main body attributable to an individual difference thereof is efficiently corrected with ease.
