Systems and processes for operating a digital assistant are provided. An example method includes, at an electronic device having one or more processors and memory, receiving a biometric signature of a user, determining, based on the biometric signature, a wellness level associated with the user, in accordance with a determination that the wellness level associated with the user is below a predetermined threshold, providing a first output to the user to stop engaging with the first electronic device, wherein the first electronic device is capable of producing a virtual environment, and after a predetermined time, causing a second output to be provided to the user with a second electronic device to begin engaging with the first electronic device.

User suggestions based on engagement

In some embodiments, a computer system facilitates user input for sending a quick message to a respective user based on speech input provided by a user of the computer system in the three-dimensional environment. In some embodiments, a computer system facilitates user input for sending an audio message including an animated representation of the user of the computer system to a respective user based on speech input provided by the user.

Methods for quick message response and dictation in a three-dimensional environment

Systems and processes for speech interpretation based on environmental context are provided. For example, a user gaze direction is detected, and a speech input is received from a first user of the electronic device. In accordance with a determination that the user gaze is directed at a digital assistant object, the speech input is processed by the digital assistant. In accordance with a determination that the user gaze is not directed at a digital assistant object, contextual information associated with the electronic device is obtained, wherein the contextual information includes speech from a second user. Determination is made whether the speech input is directed to a digital assistant of the electronic device. In accordance with a determination that the speech input is directed to a digital assistant of the electronic device, the speech input is processed by the digital assistant.

Speech interpretation based on environmental context

An example process includes: receiving, from a user, an input corresponding to a request for assistance with a drawing; in accordance with receiving the input, selecting a physical surface in a physical environment; displaying, over the selected physical surface, a graphical overlay representing the drawing, where displaying the graphical overlay over the selected physical surface includes anchoring the graphical overlay to the selected physical surface; and while displaying the graphical overlay over the selected physical surface: detecting a marking produced by the user on the physical surface, the marking corresponding to the drawing.

Assisted drawing and writing in extended reality

This relates generally to intelligent automated assistants and, more specifically, to provide intelligent visualization of snippet information. An example method includes receiving a user request and in response to receiving the user request, determining a response for the user request, determining a format for a visual representation of the response, identifying one or more virtual objects based on the format for the visual representation of the response, determining a size for each of the one or more virtual objects based on context information associated with the response, and displaying the one or more virtual objects within a background environment based on the size for each of the one or more virtual objects and geometry of the background environment.

Digital assistant for providing visualization of snippet information

Systems and processes for operating a digital assistant are provided. An example method includes, at an electronic device having one or more processors and memory, receiving an audio input including an utterance, determining, based on a speaker profile, an identity of a speaker of the utterance, determining whether the identity of the speaker matches a predetermined identity, and in accordance with a determination that the identity of the speaker matches the predetermined identity selectively adjusting a volume of the utterance relative to a volume of other sound of the audio input and providing an output of the adjusted utterance.
